Ya know, what do you do or say? It is never good when you need a tow truck, right? My entire car…read morejust shut down recently and I was stuck in the car. Actually stuck for a hot minute. As in, I could not get out at all. Everything locked and seized up on me and it took a while for the, "Manual Override" to work. I could not open the windows or doors and the car refused to go into Neutral as to allow it to be pushed out of the main and might I add, very busy, road. It was a very frightening thing to happen, especially in the left hand fast lane of a major road. Luckily my car at least coasted to the turn late so a tad better than being stuck in the no stopping at all, fast lane. I am sure I would have been killed if the car did not at least get over to the turn lane where cars have to naturally stop on the arrow or to turn left. I am also glad my car did not also stop on the light rail tracks, which were right next to me. To make matters worse, of course people still have to be jerks and to make a big scene over it. Yes lady, yelling and cursing at me. I know I should put my Lights, errrrrrrrummmmmmmm, you mean Hazards on? If they worked I sure would put them up. Thanks for that advice. Insert eye roll. People, listen up! Be kind on the road. The only people who offered to help were the homeless folks walking by and two car owners who stopped. One just to make sure I was not dead because my head was down texting this company. See, i can laugh about it now. HAHAHA, not really. lol Firestone gave me the number to this company to call. They were pretty awesome. I don't scare easy but I was pretty shaken up by the events that occurred. Having nightmares of getting burnt alive in your car because you are stuck in it is not fun. I was treated very well by the staff. To the gentleman on the phone, who I assume is father and to Josh, son who showed up. I hope I remembered the nice, young man's name correctly.
