It is my pleasure to be the first to rate and review this establishment, you want the 411, here it is:
The Good:
The quality of work here is near immaculate. There is no other dry cleaning establishment as good as Hollywood in this entire area: Teaneck, Bergenfield, Hackensack, Dumont, New Milford.
The Bad:
They are expensive. But you get what you paid for, and they do a damn fine job washing & drying dress shirts and removing oil rings. They are great with suits as well! The owner is a tall white dude who seems to live on a beach in Hawaii, because he's got this stellar perpetual tan that never seems to fade, is pleasant to deal with and for large drop-offs he can cut you a deal, which makes the price reasonable. Also, they have coupons and discounts month to month, so watch out for it online or in the mail! Or search for it online, helps a lot.
The Ugly:
Be vigilant in checking your clothes for any missing buttons or straps, I have lost two buttons here on separate occasions. There was also one time where they actually lost my dad's pants. Here is the thing though, when I told them, the owner didn't charge me for any of the dry cleaning, which helped because I dropped off most of my closet lol. He was able to find my pants a week or so later and returned it but he didn't charge me after finding it either. This is customer service, I like to think he was just being a smart business man because I'm a loyal customer, I'm not going anywhere else. Also MAKE SURE that when you need dry cleaning done near a holiday, be absolutely clear in determining whether the place is closed on certain days, I had to buy a brand new dress shirt in Boston for a wedding because my shirts were locked up in a closed shop, I didn't realize they were closed for holiday weekend. I called their number and the answering machine said nothing about being closed, I called the following Monday when they were open and the owner wasn't receptive to my predicament, he said there is a sign on the front door of the shop, I don't check the front door, I check online or over the phone. Bottom line: make sure they are open or closed near a pick-up day. Lesson learned.
CUT TO THE CHASE YAHYA:
This place is the best dry cleaner in the area, it's pricey but they do a damn good job so the price is worth it, just be vigilant in making sure your clothes are all there and if anything is amiss, rest assured management will do their best to accomodate so if you see something, say something.
