I had a fair amount of shirts (13) and a suit so I was totally getting that they needed 5 days to turn it around, albeit I had much faster service in some other places I used to go in the city. Anyway the price was fine and I left them to their own devices. When I picked up the shirts they were fine until I noticed on several of my shirts they actually stapled the tags onto the actual shirt labels. Seriously I've never seen anything like this in any of the other dry cleaners I went to. I've seen them staple around the label or button holes on the tag itself but never on the actual label of the shirt. That's either some serious brain dead shit or some serious careless shit. God awful practice. Anyway I'm never coming back. I should have listened to my own gut and noticed why there wasn't much of a rack of dry cleaning in there. I guess the folks in the area know better than to read old questionable reviews and opt to do their cleaning elsewhere.

I brought a coat there to have the buttons reinforced and they did a terrible job. Within a week, they were loose again. I had to bring it elsewhere for the job to be done right. Shouldn't coat thread be used on a coat? Yes, that's what I thought. And for $20? Come on now. I also brought a king size comforter in and asked specifically for it to be washed - not "dry-cleaned". The last time I brought it in to be dry-cleaned, it looked like they didnt even touch it. There was no trace of that dry-clean smell. This time I asked specifically "Can this be WASHED?" and the guy gave me the head-nod and said, "Yes Yes". I got it back over a week later, to the tune of $45, and I am convinced that they (again) just folded it up and put it in a fancy clear bag without doing anything to it. It still smelled like my perfume and there was still mascara in the corner. WTH? You have plenty of viable dry cleaning/tailor options in the area. Keep on driving and spend your hard-earned money elsewhere.

So I need to stop every so often, run a few loads through a washer and dryer, then continue driving. So I stopped at SpeedWash and did exactly that. Three stars because the place is clean and the machines are reasonably priced. I had no issues with washing or drying, there are enough tables to fold and there is some seating outside where it's a little cooler. Where it goes wrong is that you must use a proprietary debit card to purchase washes and dries. This is fine but there are no refunds. I asked. For folks who are here repeatedly, this works okay. For someone like me who is never coming back to Westwood, it's a waste of money. So before I left, I handed my card (with $4.50 in value) to a nice woman who was doing her family's laundry with her very well behaved daughter. I pointed out that it's great that she had help, gave her the card and departed before it got creepy. [Review 18328 overall - 161 in New Jersey - 1850 of 2022.]

I drive 40 minutes to wash my clothes in this particular place. The machines are new and great! They accept cash and cards which is super convenient. Last Friday (06/07/24) around 6:30 pm I observed one of the young female workers with her husband and two children washing and folding clothes. I'm not sure if they washed their own clothes or customer's clothes, but it was not right. They let their children to take clean clothes from the dryers and place it in the carts. During the process kids dropped clean clothes on the floor frequently. They stepped inside the carts and on the folding tables with their outside shoes. Again I'm not sure if the worker was there during her work hours or not, but the laundromat looked dirty, with mess inside the machines and on the floor. Kids were on the loose! Running and climbing everywhere! I'm not against children in the laundromat, but everything has its own limit.
