This used to be my regular laundromat until Laundry Chute opened on River Road. I decided to come…read moreback and try this place out again since Laundry Chute is always crowded. Not much has changed here. They redid the floors and added some counter tops. The washers are dirty with detergent stains all over them, and a third of the dryers have doors that don't close. They advertise free dryers, but only two of the dryers are free. Sure the prices are lower now than they were 5 years ago, but so is the quality of the machines. Also, I started 2 paid dryers at the same exact time and one was finished its cycle in only 5 minutes and the other was done in 7 minutes. Definitely not the 8 minutes the dryers advertise! Please fix these problems and maybe I'll come back. Until then, I guess it's back to Laundry Chute. :-(

I at least expected them to admit their mistake, especially when i heard them admitting it in the back in korean. They proceeded to tell me it's not their fault, it's tough material, and my legs are probably different lengths. I asked them to measure my pants and lord and behold, they were wrong. They refused to apologize and told me they could fix it. conclusion - they did not and made it worse and still did not give me a refund or a simple apology. save your time and money

I just had the strangest experience at New Bridge Laundromat. I frequent the store about 3-4…read more times a year with the change of season when I drop off my winter and summer blankets and occasionally for bathroom mats and camp clothes drop-offs. I just walked into the store with 2 comforters and the woman behind the counter asked me if i had a bag. Even if I kept shopping bags in my car (which I do), the comforters would never fit inside one. I told her I did not and she asked me to put the comforters on the floor. Now granted I am dropping them off to be washed but that is quite different from wanting them on a filthy floor that people walk on with who knows what on the bottom of their shoes. I asked if I could put them in a basket instead (until they were put in a machine) and she said "no those are for customers only"). Well what was I? There were only 2 customers in the store and at least 5-7 empty baskets not being used. I told her I did not want to put my bedroom comforters on the floor as it was dirty and she said that she could not help me. I asked her if she wanted me to go elsewhere and she said "yes go where you want". I again asked if she wanted to lose my business instead of just putting the comforters in a basket or a machine and she said "yes you can go". I walked out and took them to another laundromat 4 minutes away. I am still scratching my head that she was happy to lose my business (and the business of the many neighborhood friends I will be sharing this with) because I did not want to put my comforters on the dirty floor of the laundromat! Update: Marshall called me on behalf of manager/owner to apologize for this experience. He was quite horrified and said this is not the way they do business and should never have happened. He spoke briefly to the employee and will have a long talk with her tomorrow. he wanted to comp me the cost of the service but I refused. I also did not want t o take anyone's livelihood away. I penalt doubt I will go back but felt the outreach was warranted and appropriate.
