your better off going to Teaneck or dumont laundry. the staff are so rude when you ask questions and the machines are new but very expensive

I just had the strangest experience at New Bridge Laundromat. I frequent the store about 3-4 times a year with the change of season when I drop off my winter and summer blankets and occasionally for bathroom mats and camp clothes drop-offs. I just walked into the store with 2 comforters and the woman behind the counter asked me if i had a bag. Even if I kept shopping bags in my car (which I do), the comforters would never fit inside one. I told her I did not and she asked me to put the comforters on the floor. Now granted I am dropping them off to be washed but that is quite different from wanting them on a filthy floor that people walk on with who knows what on the bottom of their shoes. I asked if I could put them in a basket instead (until they were put in a machine) and she said "no those are for customers only"). Well what was I? There were only 2 customers in the store and at least 5-7 empty baskets not being used. I told her I did not want to put my bedroom comforters on the floor as it was dirty and she said that she could not help me. I asked her if she wanted me to go elsewhere and she said "yes go where you want". I again asked if she wanted to lose my business instead of just putting the comforters in a basket or a machine and she said "yes you can go". I walked out and took them to another laundromat 4 minutes away. I am still scratching my head that she was happy to lose my business (and the business of the many neighborhood friends I will be sharing this with) because I did not want to put my comforters on the dirty floor of the laundromat! Update: Marshall called me on behalf of manager/owner to apologize for this experience. He was quite horrified and said this is not the way they do business and should never have happened. He spoke briefly to the employee and will have a long talk with her tomorrow. he wanted to comp me the cost of the service but I refused. I also did not want t o take anyone's livelihood away. I penalt doubt I will go back but felt the outreach was warranted and appropriate. read more

When i went to do my laundry, one of the dryers burned the clothes and blankets and it was only that dryer. When all of the other dryers i had with clothes came out fine. The manager didnt wanna pay me for the clothes that had been ruined. When i had called him he was very unprofessional. He yelled at me and then when i kept calling him, it seemed as if he blocked me. I also talked to the supervisor and nobody helped me replace all the clothes and blankets that i had lost. They are very irresponsible!!!! read more

You need to be careful if you left something behind when you do laundry in this place! Example: my gf went alone to do laundry some how she forgot all her pants and mines! I went to ask for them and they got me the stupidest answer THEY THROW IT OUT TO THE GARBAGE! HOW COME??? The pants were like brand new and they THROW it out please! I'm 100% sure someone took it and someone is probably wearing it! read more

Have been using them for over a year and have been very satisfied. Clothes are promptly returned two days after pickup, clean and folded neatly. Have never had a problem and they have always been flexible about me dropping off late. Considering how expensive washing and drying is in my apartment complex, this is worth it. read more

Had a lot of clothes to wash so decided to go to nearest laundromat. Walked in half the machines were out of order ... The clerk that should be washing And folding clothes was sitting at counter eating for about an hour as all the dryers were done ... Mind you no free dryers available .. Probably should have walked out when I noticed a hand full of machines were out of order but hey never again ... read more

I have been consistently using their wash n fold drop off service for some time now. At least once a week, if not twice a week. We (my boyfriend and I) leave a generous tip every single time, and have even recommended their business to several of our friends and family. Two days ago we dropped off a large load of clothes and picked it up the day after. As I was putting the clothes away, I discovered several pieces of clothing DAMAGED, some even COMPLETELY DESTROYED. There are large, dark stains that you cannot miss!! How could they send clothes back in this condition and not even mention it to the customer?! The clothes look dirtier than when I dropped them off, now they are permanently STAINED. Keep in mind that many of the clothes have only been worn once or twice and now they can never be worn again!! My boyfriend went to the laundromat the day after, showing the owner the nasty large dark stains. He answered back saying they are "not responsible for any damages" and there is "nothing he could do". He didn't even attempt to clean the stains off my clothes, just basically said "oh well". Absolutely no accountability for the damages!! How can you trust a business like this? I'm extremely upset, I have brand new clothing that I loved, that is not even wearable. These clothes cost $$ and now they are garbage. I regret trusting these people and using their service. NEVER AGAIN!!! DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU DONT WANT YOUR CLOTHES DESTROYED. read more
