Wow! I'd give 10 stars if I could! My best friend and I have been trading gag gifts for our birthdays for years now and I wanted to try it out do him this year. So I thought I'll do a singing telegram. I had no idea where to start, I found Kerry and Preppygrams and it was souch easier than I thought. Kerry called and took some time getting to know what I wanted and details about the target. It couldn't have turned out better. The lyrics he made up for the song were spot on and hilarious. Everyone loved it and it's the 1st time I've seen my friend so flummoxed he couldn't even talk he was laughing so hard. Would totally recommend!!! read more

Tried to book as they said on their site same day service. When I got a response from them re my request I asked if we could move ahead . They said no it was too late. They never called though they had my number. I thought as it was same day they would to expedite. Instead Kerry sent 3 really awful rude emails to me. Meanwhile I got another company that was really good do deal with, lots of options and great communication. Kerry is still at this point writing rude emails. Terrible customer service. Rude communication. So glad I didn't book them. And now I never will. read more

Absolutely my favorite gift to send.... Kerry is a super talent for delivering joy and happiness. His true talent is turning the gibberish we gave him into the perfect song. I can't write enough to say how incredible this service is. I used them to send my moms office into retirement. So cheesy, but so perfect. The boss had tears in his eyes after the performance and we were so glad to have thought of this unique gift. EPIC GIFT read more

I can't recommend Preppygrams enough. I recently, unfortunately contracted Covid and passed it along to my poor wife and baby. After ten days of hell where my wife went through the worst of it, Kerry knocked on our door dressed as a doctor and sang her a hilarious song beautifully written to make light of our unhappy situation. My wife loved the song and smiled for the rest of the day. Kerry's talent and exuberance really lifted our spirits. Book Kerry if you're looking for a quirky surprise that your loved one will never forget. It's fun and easy and Kerry will not disappoint. read more

Wish I can give them more than 5 stars!! Used them twice for my husbands 33rd birthday and my son's second birthday and they are nothing short of entertaining thank you Kerry for providing us with the best roastworthy and touching telegrams!! read more

The singing telegram is a dying art and as evidenced on Youtube, you can certainly see why. That's where Preppygrams steps in to switch up the whole game & turns a singing telegram into the coolest gift that you've ever heard of! Stuck across the ocean for my favorite chica's birthday, I sent her a personalized singing telegram. Kerry (Preppygrams proprietor) lyrically delivered her the roast of her life whilst wearing a Priest's collar. I'd have given anything to be in that room full of aging punks & heavily tattooed drunkards when a Priest rolled in shortly after midnight. Kerry spared no detail from the long list of her likes, pet peeves & eccentricities that I provided to him & he wrote a hilarious song for the birthday girl! She loved it, the guests loved it & she swears that it was the best gift ever. So that's it I suppose! Singing telegrams are cool again & now I have a secret hat trick for important occasions. Joi (the birthday girl) will write her own review, surely, but I just wanted to show my gratitude to Preppygrams. Highly recommended for ALL walks of life!!! read more

Living in California it is hard to pull the trigger on a gorilla in a tutu to help celebrate my brother's 40th birthday in New Jersey. That was seriously spectacular!!! I am in awe on what Kerry was able to create that in less than 12 hours. I cannot thank you enough for that amazing personalized song! Kerry is insanely talented and a pleasure to work with... If I could give more than 5 stars I would & I would recommend this to anyone! Thanks again! read more

I live in Saint Louis - my nephew was turning 16 years old on Long Island. Conundrum. Decided on a singing telegram and it was THE BEST choice I could have made. Highly professional, great follow up, execution was beyond belief; they wrote a song for him with all of his likes and dislikes - so incredibly customized it was almost like a magic show to him, how this entertainer knew so much about him. I would recommend it to ANYONE looking for a great alternative to a card especially during social distancing (He stood on the curb with my nephew 10 feet away on the porch). All the neighbors watched from their porches as well. Cost is relative, but I thought it was cheap - a third the price of a plane ticket, half the price of a car rental and probably just slightly more expensive then sending a decent gift the kid probably did not want anyway from Amazon. I would have paid more honestly. Oh - note to customers - leave a tip - its just the right thing to do. J. Dalton read more

This my second experience utilizing the amazing talent of Kerry. I sent my niece a preppy gram for her 30th birthday because I am living in LA and could not be there to celebrate with her. Kerry created the perfect song and memory I was so excited to give her. It couldn't have been more perfect. My sister also received hers in March of 2009 which was the start of my loyalty to this company. I look forward to this fall because I have yet another loved one that will get one of the greatest singing telegrams ever!! Thank you again so very much Kerry!! read more

This was epic!.. decided to do this last minute for a birthday and they pulled it off with flying colors. The personalization for the hosts was key and i was extemely pleased with the outcome... great find and I strongly recommend!!! It was the hit of the party! read more

I do not know where to begin. In the middle of this pandemic, my very best friend was turning 40 and the year had been so challenging for everyone. I wanted to do something fun for her, something that would make her laugh so hard, she would cry. Kerry delivered ten times over. I found Preppygrams very last minute, just days before her birthday. Kerry responded to my inquiry so promptly and got right to work. He called me to discuss some of the items on my application so he could get a better understanding of our inside jokes and funny anecdotes. We scheduled the singing telegram in a great costume that held meaning for my friend. He delivered it perfectly and wrote a song in just a day that embodied her in every way! Such talent! She called me laughing and crying and said it was perfect! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this service. Really brought joy to us both! Thank you, Preppygrams! read more

Great pricing and customer service! Kerry was a pleasure to work with. He was attentive and very professional (and may I add, funny!). I got his services for my boyfriend's birthday. I ordered a Gorilla with a tutu and he delivered! The gorilla was VERY punctual which in today's situation, was the best thing that could ever have happened. My boyfriend and his co-workers were very entertained. I would definitely use Preppygram for another occasion. Thanks Kerry! read more

I was unable to attend a good friend's birthday pool party in Long Island since I was in LA, so at the last minute on a friday afternoon, I googled singing telegrams and came across preppy grams. I contacted Kerry and he was able to turn it around for the next day. He emailed me a list of available costumes and I choose the chicken. He also asked a list of questions about the birthday girl and called me the next morning to get more details about her. He wrote a birthday song incorporating all the details I gave. Nothing is funnier than a chicken showing up at a pool party for a group of 30-somethings. he showed up on time and crooned the birthday girl at the party. I have to say, best present I ever gave!! A friend sent me the video, and I was laughing from 3000 miles away. Highly recommend preppy grams- reliable, affordable, great service and a damn good time. read more

I couldn't have dreamed a more perfect singing telegram! My best friend was stuck at home for her 35th birthday due to the Bomb Cyclone, and I am a few states away. I searched on line for something last minute to brighten her day. Preppygrams had amazing reviews and now I know why. 5 stars is 100% justified. Despite the storm, Kerry responded immediately to my request. He called to discuss everything and learn more about my friend before writing the song, and to plan the details of the surprise. I didnt know how he would make a custom song, covering 30 years of friendship in less than 12 hours, but he delivered! The song was so perfect it had both my bestie and I in tears of joy and giggles at the same time. Kerry called me twice the day of the surprise to give me updates, and he also texted me when he was 15 minutes away. Then, he was sure to take a photo and text it to me immediately after the telegram! He didn't have to do any of that, but it made the whole day exciting and special for me and my best friend. It went so we'll, I'm sure to contact him again. This was truly the best gift. It made her day, and mine too! Thank you, Preppygrams!! read more

Worst customer service I have ever received. Avoid at all costs. Said he would call within an hour and never did. When I contacted him the next day to see what happened he was beyond rude and blamed it on me. read more

I don't even know how to describe how pleased I am with this service. My daughter turned 21 while in college and I couldn't be there since we live in Arizona. I decided on a singing telegram because she loves music and show tunes. Fortunately for me, her roommate was able to video tape it. The custom song was absolutely perfect and she loved it. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Preppygrams. read more

Just sent my friend Shannon a singing telegram yesterday after she completed her last round of chemo. Kerry was awesome to work with, quick to respond and very easy to talk to. I was not there to see it live but my friends husband taped it and sent it to me. The song that was written was great, it was hysterical and sincere and it rhymed perfectly!!! Thank you so much Kerry for a memorable experience. read more

Absolutely stellar service. We requested a gorllagram (w/tutu, obviously) to New Jersey. They incorporated all our suggestions into the song and made it totally custom. The entire experience was A+ 100% worth every penny. Our mom loved it (and we love her). Would definitely use Preppygrams again. Kerry and team knocked it out of the park. read more

I decided on a singing telegram kind of at the last minute and I was worried that the performer wouldn't be reliable or funny. I really wanted something funny for our very small (16 guests) family party for my husband's 60th birthday Surprise Party. I was hoping to hire this great comedian but I realized with cake and presents and photobooth there really wouldn't be enough time. Preppygrams really came through for me, and FAR exceeded my expectations! The performer was right on time and came dressed as an Italian Mobster and he was GREAT! REALLY GREAT! I am still shocked that they were able to write a custom song as fast as they did and it was HYSTERICAL! He was the hit of the party! Not only was the song funny like I requested, but it was in very good tastes, which I think is important when you have a mixed crowd. My husband doesn't have alot of quirks or funny stories so I didn't think I even gave them enough material to write a song, but it was FANTASTIC! I am a perfectionist and somewhat of a micromanager but I had a sense that I didn't have to be when I spoke to Kerry. He was confident but respectful. Receptive, and not the least bit arrogant. I really appreciated that. He was great to work with and I am so glad I trusted him on which costumed performer would be best for our party. My husband got a copy of the lyrics after the Singing Telegram was delivered, and we have watched the video clip someone at the party took about a million times lol! The entire transaction was smooth, easy, and incredibly professional. It's often hard to find gifts these days, especially for men. This is a memorable gift that I promise you, will really be the highlight of any gift recipients special day or event! Thank you so much Kerry and thank you Godfather! :) read more

Had the pleasure of working with Kerry this past Valentine's day for a custom made telegram for both my wife and my 11 year old daughter. Working with Kerry was excellent, he was attentive, really captured the tone of what I was looking for, romantic and funny. Kerry delivered a song that was spot on! His delivery was wonderful and brought smiles to my "girls" that will be a cherished memory forever. I would highly recommended a singing telegram by Kerry as it was truly memorable. read more
