I definitely recommend this place! I forgot to get the name of the lady who did my nails but she did a phenomenal job. She asked plenty if I was happy with how things were going and they came out exactly how I wanted. I went in on a Sunday so it was quite calm in there, which I appreciate. Will definitely return!

Holly Nails was a great place to get my nails done! The staff was so lovely and quick. I went with three friends, and we all finished within a little more than an hour. The salon was empty, and it felt comforting. I also loved the tv shows playing above the manicure; they kept me entertained. My friends did Acrylics, Chrome Nails, and French tips, and I did a Gel manicure and pedicure. Recommend.

I sat at seat 6 for acrylic full set. The nail tech paid close attention to the design that I wanted and took her time with filing my nail. However, on my thumb and ring finger she used the filing drill too close to my skin and made me bleed. I like the design and how clean it was but probably wouldn't come here again.

Walk-ins are welcome. I walked in for a regular manicure and the wait was 25 minutes. I noticed that there were many walk-ins today when I came so I would highly recommend making an appointment instead. Manicures are $12 but are $10 for students. Their sns nail powder dip is $39 (slightly more expensive than most places). They also offer waxing and massages. Their nail polish options for regular manicures was larger than half the places I've been in the area. They charge $10 if you're getting a regular manicure but need sns powder to be removed. It's $5 if you're getting a manicure but need gel to be removed. There's plenty of parking. They offer discounts if you pay in cash. They also offer a 10% discount for friends who have been referred by someone. They have a frequent-buyer punch card where you get a discount or free service if you've purchased 6 services. They have around 8 pedicure stations and 7 nail stations. It looks like gel manicures are the most popular thing here. I got a regular manicure by a man and he was great. He painted my nails so effortlessly and quickly. The removing of the previous sns dip powder took the longest. They have free drinks and chips for customers. They also play HGTV for your entertainment. If you're not satisfied with your service, you can potentially get a 20% refund. Some places remove the powder by having you soak the entire time but this one files it off with a mechanized drill first then soak your nails with acetone, a cotton ball and foil after. The drill was stronger and pushed on more pressure than most drills I've experienced from my various sns dip experiences in other salons.

Came in on a Saturday afternoon for a take off of my gel French manicure to be replaced with a color gel. They got me in right away. So happy I found this place!! The manicure came out so beautiful and was only $25- no charge for the take off. I knew this place was great when I read a sign stating that due to demand they recommend appointments. The salon itself was very clean and organized. The person doing my nails was meticulous and I love the way they turned out

I had some poorly done acrylic nails at a different salon and I wanted to get them fixed, so I came in to Holly Nails and they did an amazing job. I got a fill and they made sure to fix the shape and the thickness of the previous nails and were super patient while I was choosing out a bunch of colors. My technician was pretty quiet and didn't have anything to say to me so they weren't the friendliest but who cares when they do an amazing job, right?

My sister & I both loved our experience at this salon. We dropped in and were both seated immediately. I highly recommend the salon.

This place was very clean and actually pretty big! They were very nice. I had Michelle, she did a good job. I think she started to feel rushed at one point because it started to get busy. So she didn't clean off the parts of my nail polish that are on my fingers (only reason I'm giving 4 stars). But I paid $10 for a manicure (w/ student discount) so can I really complain? My gel nails were taken off for $5 (great price). She gave me a $5 off coupon for my next visit as well. Overall, I would go back again.

I came here because my usual manicurist didn't have any appointments to accommodate my schedule. This place was close to my house and had great reviews. The staff was very friendly and the back massage was amazing. The first girl who started my nails didn't talk much but. Then the next lady that finished them was very pleasant and very nice. David who did my friend's nails was also amazing. Can't wait to go back!!

The station was absolutely filthy and she had tools and dust all over the place. She began to look at my current nails, which were in very rough shape, but beautifully designed. They had very detailed hand, painted turquoise along with cow print that I had got done at a different nail salon and location. She then began to talk with several of the other employees coming over pointing at my fingernails and when I had questioned what they were talking about because I couldn't understand, she said nothing. It made me feel extremely uncomfortable, considering they were obviously talking about my fingers and it would be nice to be included. She asked me what color I had wanted, and I took my time to look and chose a cat eye nail polish as an accent nail, which she did not know how to use the magnet and was shaking. I asked if it was possible to get a small simple flower design on my ring finger, which she was very confident in doing. I will show you the example of what I asked for and what I got below. She was shaking like a leaf the whole time and I didn't know what to say or how to even react. For the 45$ that I spent, 7 of my nails were chipped by the next day, my nails look like a toddler did them, they are all now extremely thin and breaking. Never again.

This was my first time visiting BV Nail Spa. I had seen the two-star rating and read some…read morenot-so-great reviews beforehand, but I still wanted to give it a shot and form my own opinion -- because I feel like oftentimes people only leave reviews when they've had a bad experience. But on the flip side, we often forget to give places their proper flowers when we actually have a good one. The salon itself is clean, peaceful, and has a nice ambiance. I called ahead to check availability, and they told me to come in. I let them know I'd be there in five minutes, and when I arrived, I was seated immediately -- no wait, which I appreciated. I received a fill, a cut down, and had two nails fixed. Kenny did my nails. He was quiet, very gentle, and seemed to genuinely listen to what I wanted. That said, I did leave feeling a little unsure. One hand looks noticeably shorter than the other, and the shape isn't exactly the almond I asked for -- they look wider than expected. My fingers are naturally a little crooked, so maybe that played a part, but the inconsistency is definitely noticeable. From far away, my nails look cute -- cool even. But up close, you can really see the unevenness, which is a little disappointing. Another thing I didn't love was being charged for using a credit card. My total ended up being $58 plus tip, even though over the phone, they quoted me $51. The manager did tell Kenny to notify me if there were any changes in pricing, but he never mentioned it. I didn't press the issue since it wasn't a huge jump, but it still felt a little off. Also -- sidenote -- I just moved back to Syracuse after 13 years in Charlotte, and it seems like this whole "charging extra to use a card" thing is common here. I personally think it's corny. They do have an ATM inside that charges $0.99, but I'm just not a fan of being charged to access my own money. So if you plan on going, I'd recommend bringing cash. They also have a QR code for Vemo at the front desk, and they do offer a rewards program -- I signed up for it, but I forgot to ask how it works or what you need to do to actually earn rewards. All in all, I'd rate my experience a 6.5 out of 10. It wasn't horrible. The ambiance was nice, the service was gentle, and I was seen quickly. My nails aren't terrible -- they're fine from a distance, but up close, the flaws are obvious. I might give them one more try, just to see if it was an off day.

The pedicure never fully dried and I have a lump. It was a waste of $120 for me. The best thing was the glass of wine. The man that did my nails was kind but maybe inexperienced or rushing. The vibe was calming until the music was cut off at 5:30pm. I know I came at 4:40 and they close at 6pm. Closing at 6pm on a Saturday is unconventional to me. The first time I came here I loved my nails. Maybe their speciality is not dip powder or gel pedicures.

Everything from the massage chair to the display of 1,000 nail colors and finishes is top shelf. I've had 2 gel manicures before this which were very nice though the polish started to chip off on this last one after one week, previous experience at other salons has consistently been no chips for 2+ weeks. 20% off pricing is a big plus. My pedicure was not a positive experience. It was a cold day in January, and my feet were ice cold, but instead of warming my feet up and softening my nails in the foot bath, the technician immediately started to cut my toe nails...which really hurt! I told her I wanted to warm my feet up and started to put them in the bath, she pulled them back out! I also have ingrown toenails, so the painful trimming made me yell "Ow!" Loudly! The nail tech then tried to be somewhat gentle- the final result was that my toenails hardly got trimmed. She did give me a very nice foot and leg massage. However, I do not plan to return.

My mom has…read morebeen going to the same woman for her nails for as long as I can remember, but recently I noticed her nails looked too good, like noticeably different. I just knew it wasn't her usual tech. When I asked who did them, she handed me a card from Syracuse Nail and Spa. Funny enough, I think this is the same spot one of my coworkers recommended a while ago too. So I decided to give them a call, and they said they weren't busy and could take me right away. When I arrived, that was exactly the case -- I was seated and serviced immediately. I went with the green tea pedicure, which they told me was one of their best options. And let me just say -- it was so relaxing. They let my feet actually soak (which is rare nowadays), and I got to enjoy my book while the massage chair worked its magic. The pedicure included a foot massage, hot towel treatment, and a hot stone massage, which felt amazing. Everything was done with care and attention to detail. The same person also did my nails. I got a fill with my usual bubble bath pink color -- nothing too fancy, but I like to keep it simple. He took about 45 minutes on both my feet and hands, and I loved that he was both fast and efficient. I wear my nails in a round shape, and he did an excellent job with the shaping, which a lot of people struggle with. To top it all off, he gave me a back massage while I was drying (Under the UV dryer) and even gave me a hand massage with a hot towel after my manicure. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful -- very chill and relaxing. I went on a Thursday afternoon around 2:30 PM, and it wasn't crowded at all. The staff was kind, and overall the service made me feel taken care of. I'm definitely looking forward to going back and possibly trying some of their other therapeutic services in the future.
