Love, love, love this bakery! They truly have something here for everyone. They even have vegan…read moreoptions on some of their cake slices, cookies and cinnamon rolls (only on weekends). My vegan friends who came to visit stopped by here twice during their time here and said it was the best vegan cake they've ever had. I love seeing what new cake slice flavors they release each month. I've tried lots of different flavors but my absolute favorite is pumpkin. I wish it was all year long! Best pumpkin cake I've ever had. You really cant go wrong with any flavor. The cake is so moist and flavorful, you can tell they use high quality ingredients. The staff is always really friendly and helpful and really nice. It's truly the best dessert stop!

Spouse had a cheese cheddar scone - warm it when you get it home. I tried the vegan layered butter cream espresso cake - didn't care for it, to me it's a bit veganish - it just wasn't that good and not much espresso taste. I will make a better homemade cake to me that was a fail. Even for $12. A slice I won't eat it. I'm sure some of the others must have been better. You order, you stand and wait and still are guilted into at least a 15% tip. They don't have adequate parking and most is paid parking to run on and get a sweet treat . The pride flags - June is over - I think it might be an LGBTQ bakery, I didn't see one man working. It's larger than it appears, not for the customer area. It's clean, and the cashier is friendly enough. I disagree for having to feel I need to tip when I pay to park and walk 50 steps, and have to stand and wait for my order. I saw another poor review posted on the wall and then it was recindered (maybe after public humiliation they marked it thst way, I wasn't impressed with that it seems like bullying. My review will probably end up on the wall, but that's cool. I doubt I will be back.

Myself and a couple of my friends decided to come here to grab a coffee before our walk. I've been to Farm 12 a handful of times for brunch, but this was my first time visiting Fika. It's a lot bigger than I expected it to be! Definitely very spacious and would be a good spot to work remote or have coffee dates with friends. They have a case of pastries, cookies, etc. We didn't indulge this time around, but they did have some stuff that looked tasty! They also have a cold case when you enter that has light snacks and kid-friendly drinks like juice, chocolate milk, etc. They had a fun seasonal menu out in addition to their regular drinks - I went with the Campfire Cold Brew which was served with a marshmallow cold foam and marshmallows on type. Really cute presentation! The drink itself was tasty and the perfect pick-me-up for our walk. All of the baristas here are incredibly kind, but I do have to echo the sentiments on the wait here. It's pretty regularly crazy busy, and even on a day where it wasn't tooo bad we were waiting 15 minutes or so for all of us to get our drinks after paying. We'll definitely be back in the future and I can't wait to try more of their seasonal drinks and a pastry next time.

What a beautiful cafe in the middle of international district of Tacoma. Free parking in the Paldo…read moreparking lot. Incredibly easy to drive to off of i5, and they have delicious bakery goods. WiFi seems strong as there are customers with their computers and tablets. Bathrooms are clean and individualized, the best! Staff are kind and very considerate, especially the tall Korean barista young man. I will go back due to his professionalism. My Friends ordered the hojicha with cream, corn einspanner, and I ordered the Korean sweet potato latte. With that being said, I was looking for something less sweet, and Korean sweet potato latte is definitely not it. Luckily there are other drinks here and their americano is refreshing and delicious. I will be back to try their kroffles.

There is not a lot of seating, which is not a problem. It kind of gives off a more intimate vibe this way. I'm not a coffee drinker like my wife, but the refreshers make up for it. The dessert options are great, with cheesecakes, and regular cake options. The croffles range from dessert style to savory options. I don't have a favorite yet, as there a more to try. This is a favorite place for me and my wife.

I found on Yelp that Volcano coffee was within 5 minutes of my location. This was definitely a random visit which turned into a wonderful one. Upon my entry, I was greeted with a cheerful "Good Morning " by one of the ladies (employee/possibly owner) and had made eye contact. I advised it was my first visit and if she didn't mind me taking some updated photos of the business as Yelp had old pictures. She stated "You're more than welcome, let me know when you're ready to order". I thanked her and I would holler. The place was larger than I expected. The building didn't look as big on the outside. I guess I was fooled. LOL! The ambiance was clean, comfortable with cozy lounge furniture and dining tables. There is a Fireplace, however, was not in use as it was warm inside. The Christmas tree was still up. I was advised by one of the ladies that they leave it up and change the theme throughout the year. I thought that was pretty neat. Drive thru is available. After looking through the menu. I opted to order the sausage egg muffin breakfast $6.50. This was good. I also ordered a Masala Chai latte with coconut milk $6.30 (inclusive of up charge $.75). This was recommended by one of the ladies and had claimed it was her favorite drink. I enjoyed this drink very much! I also had a warmed apple fritter $3.05 which was good. The three ladies that were working on that day were so joyful, full of smiles and laughter. I could tell they had great chemistry and enjoyed working there. I believe one of them was the owner. They surely made my morning and my day. I left merrily on my way to run the rest of my errands. I shall be back! =)
