I knew right away that this would be a perfect holiday gift for a dear friend of mine who attended the University of Washington over 50 years ago. She was also my high school classmate. (Our friendship goes back to September 1967.) The Happily Huckleberry gift basket comes in three sizes - small, medium and large. Yes, I ordered the large basket online (Cost: $100.00 plus $26.99 for shipping). I was impressed with the quick delivery by Fed-Ex. As promised by Simply Northwest, the basket arrived today at 4:22 PM (PST) in Alameda, CA. I know my friend will enjoy this gift. Thank you Simply Northwest for sending this beautiful and wonderful gift basket. I am smiling from ear to ear, just beaming with joy.

What an absolutely awesome store!…read more I don't think I can say enough how much I love uncle's games. This is one of those great stores that I just root for and I hope that it's here forever and ever. They have a great selection of board games, puzzles, card games, and tabletop RPG games like dungeons & dragons in Warhammer. The staff is super friendly and super helpful, with a bunch of great recommendations (I'm a huge board game nerd and I do this thing where I test people by asking them about games that I've already played) and these guys were absolutely great. They also have a gaming area in the back of the store, I don't know what the rules are but I'm sure that you could go in and bring your game in and play. They also have a used game section, which is such a great idea. Some board games are so expensive and you don't know whether or not you're going to like them, but if they have them in the used games section at uncle's games it's going to be less than half of what you would pay if it was brand new. I did ask and they said all the games have been tested and they make sure that they have all the pieces. I absolutely love this store, I will definitely be back time and time again.

Service I visited this store to buy an item for myself but I…read moreended up not buying it after the clerk told me it was chipped. Instead, I looked for a birthday present for someone else. I informed the clerk I wanted to buy something that was not broken. So she grabbed an item that I asked her to help me look. The clerk was not honest about the product I ended up buying. It was cracked and chipped. The store does not have enough lights to see if the items are in good condition. So I did not examine if the item was in good condition. I trusted her and told her I would buy it. So I purchase the item, and when I gave it to the person who was waiting for me in the car, he told me the item was cracked and chipped. I returned to the store a couple of minutes after. When I brought it up to the attention of the clerk, she told me the store did not accept exchanging it or returning it. I asked her to check with her boss because I had just purchased the item. Her boss refused to take it back or to exchange it. I was very upset because this was my first time at the store and the item I purchased was for a birthday present. Because I would not want anybody to give me something broken for a birthday present , I would not do the same to anybody. Worse of all, the item was expensive, I asked for consideration. But the clerk said she had given me 10% off, because the item was broken. To this, I found it very deceitful to give me 10% off for an item she did not tell me it was broken. Earlier, I asked her if she would give a discount because I told her the item was expensive. She willingly told me she would give 10%. Again, I did not think this was much of a discount but because I wanted to give that specific item for a birthday present, and I did not want to go elsewhere to buy it, I ended up buying it at this place. Had I known the clerk and the owner were going to be dishonest, I would have gone elsewhere. I ended up leaving the place informing the clerk that I would never ever will do business with them again. Had they acted in good faith, I would have not posted my complaint. As a matter of fact, they don't even deserve a star for a rating. Finally, do not go near this business, if you don't want to be robbed blind. Run as fast as you can from this place. They don't care about helping you as a customer. They just want your money.

I have gone into this store once and had a pretty bad experience and felt rather unwelcome just enough to make me avoid going back for a long while. I recently worked up courage cause that's what it takes to go into the store at this point because both times I've tried to spend my money at this place of business I've been rudely asked to wait outside which is fine because there's not much room but you don't have to be rude when asking.
