Each room has 2 beds, 2 tvs, and 1 bathroom shared with the room next door. Although we encountered nice staff and 3 very nice LNA/OT members (Judy, Justin, & Catherine), in general the Edgewood nursing team seemed to be very short-handed, too busy to answer patients, and a bit gruff. Pressing the call button would result in a 30-60 minute wait, leaving patients waiting for things like pain response and trips to and from the toilet. PT/OT is not very long or vigorous and my parent lost progress that had been gained at acute rehab. We will not return.

My family is from North Hampton and Rye and we have the means to obtain the best in care. Webster is truly "run" by a dementia- averse nursing manager and the leadership in this facility takes a 'back seat' to her. My elderly parent who truly had mild dementia was turned away as they thought they would be "too much work". I have done a lot of work with the seacoast elderly community and 'the word' is Webster is truly not any more than assisted living . If your elders need 'real care' not just a room to live in (&if you are socially responsible in any way) - look elsewhere in the seacoast for a capable institution that has true compassion and an interest in caring for elders

By far Exeter was the more organized, comfortable rehabilitation facility I stayed in. PT and OT were exceptional. Nursing staff much more caring than the other larger facilities. The caring and professionalism extend throughout every aspect of the community. The staff readily identified health concerns and sought to remedy them by referencing patient history and reaching out to doctor. They offered a full calendar of activities each week, as well as 'pop-up' events like ice cream socials. Whenever I visited, there were always residents outside (weather permitting) enjoying the sunshine, getting some exercise, and being social with each other. During the last challenging six months of the coronavirus, my mother frequently voiced how safe and cared for she felt as everyone at the Inn scrupulously adhered to guidelines in order to protect residents.
