I was admitted into Cornerstone's care two months after a 6 time roll over crash. Kicked out of a hospital in Georgia with no choice but to move back to NH with the hope that someone could help me. Jessica came out with kindness, and hope in her soul. My husband and I fell in love with her "anything is possible, as long as you are willing to work for it" attitude. I began treatment with almost no movement in any part of my body due to the severity of my spinal cord injury. Ashley (PT) came in the room and lit it up. Not only was every single session fun, she made me want to work to impress her, simply because she believed in me, I wanted to show her that belief wasn't for nothing. Jessica (OT) came in willing to help with anything to make my transition easier, whether that be holding my daughter so I could sit up, or telling me it was okay if I hadn't reached a goal. I was switched to Deanna (OT) and Ruthann (PT) after about a month. These lovely ladies wiggled their way not only into my heart, but our family. Deanna immediately came in, with a smile not only on her face, but in her heart. Even if I couldn't do something, she would remind me of all the things that I had already accomplished, and helped me remember that everyone put the odds against me, and I was lucky to even be alive. Every single Tuesday and Thursday, there was excitement all over the house. My mom was excited to see her daughter proud of herself for being able to complete a new goal. My husband was excited to see his wife becoming herself again. My dad was excited to see his little girl move a new extremity. My daughter was excited to see the people that always acknowledged her and made her feel included. Most of all, me, excited to have these lovely women teach me how to find strength in such a horrible situation. Ruthann's place was taken back over by Ashley, but I will always cherish the time, and patience she had. Her honesty, and respect for me will not soon be forgotten. I'm so thankful she felt I was worthy enough to spend her time on. That's the thing about Cornerstone VNA PT and OT, they make you forget that they are there to do a job. They make you feel like not a thing is more important than every single session. They become family, and help you feel normal in such an abnormal state. I will hold these women in my heart forever, not just because of the incredible progress they helped me achieve, but because in my time of wanting to give up, they were there at any hour to tell me how impressed they were that a quadriplegic could become someone with paraparesis. I started not being able to move my fingers, arms, legs, and toes. I fully believe that without these incredible ladies, I may have never recovered. Very poor communication. I was initially referred for physical therapy due to my knees and a hip issue. Upon intake I divulged the fact that I have lymphedema. The therapist said that he specializes in that so he'd be able to help with this as well. He did stretches to my bad leg two times in total despite me telling him that my knee was getting worse. He missed an appointment with me stating that he was sick. I was emailing him, to see what time he was coming, on the days that he was supposed to come and I wasn't receiving a reply. At this point he stated he was having problems with his email. I then suggested that he text me, instead, on the days he was due to come but he never did. On his last visit here he asked if he could start coming twice a week and I was ok with that so I was surprised and thrown off when I received an email from him stating that I was being discharged for missing appointments. Since the start of services I only canceled once due to being sick. The other issue is it took weeks to get a nurse here to do blood work. Leah was supposed to come on August 29th but called and canceled. After that Patti was sent and not successful at getting it so I was told that phlebotomy would be coming which she did. Mia was great at getting my blood work but when I needed more blood work Patti was sent again and was unsuccessful again. Phlebotomy was not sent back and no one responded to my voice-mails regarding the matter. The order has been sitting in lingo for 3 weeks. I have left voice-mails to try and get to the bottom of things and they have gone unreturned. read more

Cornerstone Hospice has been amazing with my dad since he was admitted into their care months ago. The nurses and LNAs are awesome, Teresa, Jamie, and Cheryl are all so patient, kind and caring. They're also extremely sweet with my mom who had a stroke years ago and is now showing signs of Alzheimer's, she doesn't always understand what they're trying to tell her and they all take the time to explain things so that she can understand. We're very lucky to have them visiting throughout the week. read more

My father (and mother) needed to come stay with me after my father had an extended stay in the hospital with surgical complications. They (and me) are originally from NY and I wasn't sure how the VNA service quality would be. I am thrilled to report my father has 4 weeks of excellent continual care from 1-2 friendly professional nurses who really cared about their quality of work ethic. I have no hesitations in recommending them. My parents are now both home in NY living on their own and doing relatively well. Both are in their early 80s. I had 2 total knee replacement surgeries in 7 weeks. Karen was my main in home Physical Therapist. She was an amazing blend of caring and motivating. There was not a very good experience with Sara from cornerstone, she would make her weekly visits and couldn't do half of what she was supposed to do and kept saying she use to be a teacher....So now your not, do your job. On the day my father in law passed away she was called out to make the call that he had passed away. She had his son help her roll his body so she could remove some of the clothing, I couldn't believe it. Very inappropriate she knew what she was coming out for , she should of brought help. I will never recommend Sara to anyone and if they have her I would suggest they get someone else. The rest of the staff that we had dealings with were amazing and caring, Bonnie was gentle and caring with my father in law at bath time. Sara......Go back to teaching...Maybe. read more
