Came here with my fam on labor day and it was the perfect afternoon activity. We did two different courses, each was 10 holes. There were so many fun and creative themes for the courses which was cool. Perfect activity for families, friends, and date night.

If you're looking for a fun group activity or celebration, I highly recommend Holey Moley miniature golf and if you're into Escape Rooms, they offer this as well. Combine that with unique bars, music and a lively atmosphere and you have Holey Moley! The drinks are on the sweet side and a little pricey but that's to be expected. We highly enjoyed the unique miniature golf themes and if you want a less busy crowd then I recommend going in the weekdays when it may be a little cheaper as well. If you're looking for some fun times, stop by!

Amazing mini golf courses!! My girl and I went here to surprise her for passing her nursing exams. To relieve her stress, I decided to booked this mini golf activity cause apparently she never mini golf before (yeap shocking). Well I want her first mini golf experience to be memorable so this is the place to be :) The ambiance is perfect! Of how I described it.. it's like going to an art museum and you can play mini golf in it :) The pop arts are so imaginative and vibrant that every mini golf courses is a masterpiece. You can have Mona Lisa with your face in it haha. We really enjoyed our experience here :) Our favorite course is the Halloween Theme on the red course ;) Their service is friendly and accommodating. I can tell every employee that works here enjoys what they do. It makes us feel like a kid in a field trip coming to this place. Overall, definitely a top rated recommendation to those that love mini golfing. A great recommendation to family and friends.. absolutely going here again :)

Holey Moley was such a trip. The place was so fun there's mini golf, karaoke, and private party rooms too! The decor was creative and they have food as well. The music vibes were chill too. The music videos displayed were fun to watch. Max was our server and he was super accommodating and nice. It's a cool hole-in-the-wall hidden indoor mini golf course. 10/10

We visited on a Thursday 3 pm with 3 kids to enjoy the golf and eat/drink. Come to find out they got RID OF HAPPY HOUR sad face all the way man. What a bummer! We remember they had it the first time we visited so we were looking forward to that. To make things worse, a server did not show up for at least 12 min (yes, I timed it) and that's unacceptable for the little amount of people in the bar/restaurant. They did have a corporate/private event going on but I don't think that should have affected the service for everyone else. My guy went to the bar to ask about ordering and the bartender woman there was awesome, she saved the day! After he went to order with her, a server did come around a couple of minutes later, and she was very nice. About 15 min after that, another young guy came around and he was super helpful. So it was either nothing or everything (haha!). Once they had the area staffed, we really appreciated the servers attention and help while we were there. I ordered the red bull cocktail that comes with tequila it was pricey at $15 but yummy. We got the nachos and that was delish!!! The toppings were plentiful and fresh. The pizza was just ok, I like the crust better than the cheese/sauce. Our kids liked it though and they really enjoyed the golfing. Very cute and fun holes with great decorations and themes and not very crowded, so that made it better.

Highly recommend for family fun, especially on hot summer days. There are 3 different zones (9-hole each). I recommend doing all 27-holes, which will take about 1.5 hours. The 27-holes all offer distinct fun, creatively blending in games like Plinko, pinball and more with mini golf. There's a bar area to grab drinks, and they have convenient water dispensing towers at the bar to quench your thirst. The restaurant area is a nice stop if you want to take a break between the sets. Nice to be able to play mini golf indoors.

Vera L.

I tried both the mini golf and the food/drinks. The mini golf area was a bit cramped but we still had plenty of space to wait our turn and go through all the different holes and courses. They were all pretty easy to complete, as most of them required around only 2-4 swings to put it in the hole. Overall it was pretty fun! We were able to order drinks on the course and they brought it to us pretty quick. They kept coming so I ordered a good amount! We also sat near the bar area and I tried a juicy steakhouse burger. They were super friendly and allowed me to customize my burger however I wanted. I added lettuce, tomatoes, onions. It included waffle fries, and I ordered a side Cesar salad too. Yum!

April V.

Had a great experience here and it's pretty good price! We did 9 holes & it was about $25 for 2 people! The holes are small and short but they're very cute! The decor and aesthetic is just fun and it's pretty well organized! There's even a little photo section for free

First time mini golfing! I've never been mini golfing and this was my first experience and it was fun. We went on a Sunday and it was hot that day. Looking for some indoor AC fun. Inside they had a little bar area for some drinks and they also had food/snacks as well! We had 2 sets to play and I had so much fun, only thing was it was definitely hot inside like the AC was not on. But service was really good and the bartender there was so nice and fun. I'd definitely come back!

Marie D.

We came here for the atmosphere, and had pretty low expectations for the food. Surprisingly, it was really good. The burgers were delicious and the salads and pizza were also tasty. I'm removing 2 stars, because the service at the table was poor. No one greeted us when we were looking for a table (there should be a sign that it's self-seating) and then we waited too long to be acknowledged (there were no other patrons at the restaurant). And it was clear our server could not have cared less. We asked to have our salad dressing on the side and she told us it doesn't come with salad dressing (ummm, ok ?). But yes, there it was, and it was balsamic. And someone put it on the side. But the garlic aioli that I asked for on the side was all over my burger. Weird. I hope the service improves, because this place has the potential to be really good.

Cheyenne P.

I felt like it was worth the price but the courses were super crowded. We came on a Saturday around 1pm and there definitely could've been less parties in each section during the time frames. Overall the courses were all super cute and the themes were fun! Such a fun spot to come to with a little group.

Harvey C.

Didn't get a chance to play the games here, but I did get a chance to eat here and I was not really disappointed with the food. It's above par for a place of this calibre with burgers that were pretty delicious and pizza that you would find at any pizzeria outside. Portions are huge and definitely enough for even the big eaters. The one thing I can say is service...it is non existent and a real disappointment at the restaurant near the mini golf. . The place had one other table and no one to sit you at the host stand. Once seated you had to call a waiter for service and then you leave a card before ordering. Hopefully this gets rectified later on.

As you enter the lobby there is fun items to see

Marisol R.

This was is quite unique! The ambience is hip, with music from 90's with a twist. There is lots of creative mini golf courses to do. There is a Bar area and dining area. Lots of space for groups, and can accommodate large families as well. ( might have to call in for that if too big of a family) but overall this was a fun date night! There is a hotel next door where there are live escape rooms. I really need to try that next time! The food was yummy! Several pictures on the menu with options for healthy habits. Waiter was very nice and helpful with my choice of food. Highly recommend for date nights! First date, or any birthday celebrations! For kids highly recommend to come early as there is adults drinking in the afternoon/evenings. They do card at the door after 10 pm.

This was our first time to hold a company event at Holey Moley Irvine. Addison and Demi did a fantastic job of hosting! They made sure that we had ample supply of drinks/food and gave us clear instructions on how to play. Are you ready for this? Take a seat because I'm about to give you the tea of the day. First off, the place is actually really cute and looks so cool. The aesthetic is great and we were genuinely excited walking in. Let me start by saying the challenge rooms were actually REALLY fun. The games were easy to understand, interactive, and we were having a great time. We were laughing, competing, fully into it. And then... the heat entered the chat. The rooms were extremely hot with absolutely no airflow. No ventilation in the rooms. No ventilation in the vicinity. No ventilation ANYWHERE. After completing the five challenge rooms, one of our friends became overwhelmed from the heat, got dizzy, and passed out. Yes! Passed out! It was a very scary moment for all of us. What made it worse was how it was handled. The manager, Ivan, repeatedly questioned whether she was intoxicated instead of prioritizing her safety. We clearly stated multiple times that she was not. The focus felt more like an interrogation about alcohol rather than concern for someone who had just lost consciousness. Because of the incident, we were unable to continue to the second half of our paid golf course time. We requested a refund only for the portion we were unable to use. Somehow that turned into Ivan assuming we were asking for a full refund of the entire experience, which we were not. He didn't take the time to actually listen to what we were explaining and became very defensive. Customer service from him was essentially non-existent. The tone was hostile rather than helpful. To top it off, we were told the refund would take 3-4 months. What?! How does a partial refund take 3-4 months to process? The games themselves were fun, and the space is visually appealing, but the extreme heat, lack of ventilation throughout the facility, and the way the situation was handled completely overshadowed the experience. Hopefully management addresses the ventilation issue and seriously improves how medical situations and basic customer service are handled moving forward. read more

This was our first visit to Holey Moley but certainly not our last. Both of us, my wife and I, really enjoyed the unique golf holes, but we enjoyed the friendly and efficient personnel more. One in particular, a young lady named Eve really stood out for the way she interacted not only with us but with all of the other customers nearby. I once heard that an establishment is only as good as its people, and if Eve is an example of the people at Holey Moley, then it is a great place. This place had us saying "holey moley" for all the wrong reasons. I had a reservation for a party of 8 for a birthday get together on 1/9/26 at 7PM for Hijinx and Golf. While we enjoyed our time for the most part, our experience was not ideal for several reasons. Prior to booking, I tried calling to receive some information for several days and never once did anyone pick up. When arrived, we were denied a refund for one person who became ill day of and wasn't able to come. We started off with the Challenge rooms @ Hijinx, and we felt extremely rushed to enter the challenge rooms right at the time of our reservation while we were trying to wait for someone in our party who was running less than 5 min past our time. Just panic from staff for missing out on the elevator preshow that was truly underwhelming. Games were fun but several were very glitchy and hard to understand what the instructions were. Not clear on why we weren't passing some levels as we thought we were doing wha they had said. and right when we did understand what we were doing the game was over very quickly. so if it's your first time, most likely half of your time is trying to understand what tf you're doing. We then went to Holey Moley but were told we "missed our time" because we were in Hijinx for too long? Left us confused but were told we could be accommodated for a later time. There was no communication of whether we go straight to mini golf after hijinx or could we wait and grab some food/drinks? And when we did want to get food, it took about 20min to get our table ready. While food was surprisingly delicious and well presented, service at the restaurant was under par and left us unattended for a chunk of time, waiting for desserts, checks. refills. And while they were still able to accommodate us for a later time slot for golf, we were left in really long lines waiting for courses despite a reservation time?! What is the point of getting a time slot then? I will say courses were cool and unique, just waiting almost 5-10min for each course. Overall, the vibes are really cool. While some of the rooms feel slightly outdated and glitchy, the theming of this place is incredible. Every corner of this place is decked out and designed so well. Hence why I gave it two stars instead of one. And a big surprise was how much we all liked the food. DJ blasting music. I don't drink but everyone seemed to enjoy their fun themed drinks too. The big downside was that the evening felt really disorganized and unclear. While staff were very kind, it seemed like many of them were clueless about information and not helpful at all. While I understand that a new place like this is working out its kinks, I would hope it will listen to the customers to improve for the future. Ultimately, I just would ask for a refund for our friend who couldn't make it to both the challenge rooms and golf and NOT just a voucher for a place I'm not sure I'd want to step foot in again. Hope this could be made right. read more

Easily one of the worst service experiences I've had in a long time. Staff was slow, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping. The manager was the worst part of the experience--rude, unprofessional, and completely unwilling to listen or resolve any issues. Instead of taking responsibility, they were defensive and condescending, which only made the situation worse. Mistakes were made, no apologies were offered, and basic customer service was nonexistent. There are way too many better places to spend your time and money. Has anyone tried taking a younger kid or toddler here? Was it fun for them?

They have tons of parking in this shopping center. They share it with TONS of other places. One of my BFFs saw this on an Instagram video and wanted to check it out. *They do take reservations When we came in we checked in with one of the waitresses. She said she would seat us in a minute. To be honest, she did forget about us. A waiter walked up to us and asked us what was going on (we were standing there for around 7 - 10 minutes) and we told him we had a reservation for the speakeasy. He immediately apologized and sat us. This camp themed speakeasy has a couple booths. It's on the smaller sides. Which, speakeasy's are usually small to begin with. I did not get the waitresses name, my friend and I were busy catching up. The waitress was nice, but not attentive. I will say service was a 2/5. However, the actual restaurant, cozy pine is located in, was packed because of the World Cup being on TV. So I definitely was not going to complain The food Our food order did come out extremely FAST. Faster than our drink orders. -the campfire guacamole -BBQ shoestring fries (had bbq seasoning all over them so it tasted like a BBQ potato chip) -Glamping plate (charcuterie board) -steak tacos (one without onion and cilantro -churro affogato Again, the food was VERY fast!! And to be honest it wasn't that bad. I'll say, speakeasy's usually shine in the drink department vs food. Drinks -Lycheed and Loaded Ketel One, lychee liqueur, lemon, elderflower. This was extremely delicious! If you don't like to taste your alcohol? Go with this. It was really refreshing. Hand this to me at a spa and I'd be the happiest gal in the world -Camp Anawanna $17 Graham cracker-infused bourbon, licor 43, chocolate, torched marshmallow (the waitress catches the marshmallow on fire at the table) This one was stronger and I didn't think it was overly sweet despite the ingredients I think they had a good selection, especially for a small speakeasy. I have been to better, so I don't think I'd return. Especially since the service was not that great. We still had a good time and recommend for every speakeasy lovers list.

The hostess asked…read moreif we made a reservation before hand which we had not but would be able to seat us in like 15-20mins. We sat at the bar inside for the restaurant but there was a smaller enclosed area which was the speakeasy. My coworker ordered a margarita from the bar. It was mainly ice and the alcohol content was lacking in his opinion. Once there was a table available we were brought inside a cabin themed area. We ordered from the menu: Bug Juice, Devils Postpile and non alcoholic Black Cherry Bomb. The wait for the drinks was around 15-20mins and were prepared by what we believed was the same bar for the restaurant outside. The only difference was the drinks were made themed for the speakeasy. Overall the service was ok. The drinks and dessert were average. My coworkers did feel that their drinks were more on the sweeter side than just tasting much of the alcohol. A cute concept idea but did feel like the overall experience was alittle lacking with food and drinks. Parking wasn't a problem it's in a plaza with other restaurants and shops.

We ordered one of the appetizers, which was fried calamari shrimp, and supposed to have fried peppers, but there were no fried peppers in it, so that was a little bit of a bummer. For the main course, I got the roasted chicken, which was absolutely delicious. Well cooked chicken, moist and juicy, and very crisp, crunchy skin, overall really good flavor. The buttered rice was pretty good, and the beans were pretty good too. The plantains maybe could've used a touch of salt, but besides that everything was really good. We were too full for dessert, so we didn't get anything on this trip I'm glad we came because it was really good. Far exceeded my expectation on the overall flavor. The 4 stars is for the service. Our server, Brennan, took good care of our party of 8. He was…read moreexcellent throughout and made sure we got what we need at all times. As for the food, it's 2.5 stars, thanks to the seafood tower which is really more about the quality of the ingredient than the skill of the staff at the kitchen. Otherwise, it would've been a 1.5. Let me elaborate: The bread service is okay. They should put less coarse salt on the bread. Although I understand that it's designed so you get to drink more, the salt should not get stuck in your teeth upon biting it. If their intent is to have that 'crunch,' they might as well serve it pretzel-style. Appetizer: The calamari is okay. The cocktail sauce tasted bottled. We ordered the seafood tower which consists of the lobster, shrimp cocktail, and 2 dozen oysters. Of all the sauces served, the mignonette, lemon, and Tabasco sauce are the only ones that matches perfectly with the seafood. The rest, especially what may be a mustard sauce are forgettable. They should change the recipe on the cocktail sauce. It has an aftertaste. My entree: I ordered the 23 oz dry aged bone in rib eye, medium rare. Mine came on the rare side which I don't mind. However, it's under seasoned so I had to add salt. I was offered different butter sauces for extra and I picked the bone marrow butter. It didn't enhance the flavor at all. It felt such a waste of bone marrow. Instead, they should change that recipe to a bordelaise butter a'la Marco Pierre White. Sides: We shared scalloped potatoes, garlic mashed, roasted Brussels sprouts, and sautéed broccolini. The scalloped potato was slightly undercooked and lacks flavor. The garlic mashed lacks butter. They need to add more butter and perhaps a bit of cream so it doesn't give you that gluey taste and texture. The sprouts and broccolini are okay. Dessert: Brennan comped our desserts. He served us to share: Chocolate cake, their signature butter cake (this is really good), crème brûlée, and key lime pie (this is also good).

I recently discovered the perfect spot to unwind after a long and hectic day, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience. The ambience is warm, cozy, and inviting, with soft lighting and tasteful décor that immediately makes you feel at ease. It's the kind of place where you can sink into a comfortable seat and leave your stress at the door. The food is absolutely delightful--every dish is packed with flavor and presented beautifully. From appetizers to desserts, the menu offers a great balance of comforting favorites and creative options. Each bite feels thoughtfully crafted, making it ideal for a casual meal or a more indulgent evening. The service is another highlight. The staff is attentive without being intrusive, always ready with recommendations or a friendly chat. They strike the perfect balance of professionalism and warmth, which enhances the overall experience. What I love most is how it doubles as a hangout spot. Whether you're catching up with friends, enjoying a quiet dinner, or just relaxing solo after a long day, this place sets the perfect tone. It's definitely become my go-to spot when I need to recharge and treat myself. read more

Last time we came here, we had a great experience, which is why we decided to come back tonight. Unfortunately, tonight was completely different and very disappointing. The burgers were extremely salty, and the pizza was also way too salty. But the biggest issue was the music. It was unbelievably loud and honestly unbearable. We came with a group because we wanted to socialize, talk, and enjoy our time together, but the music was so loud that we literally had to yell at each other just to have a conversation. When we mentioned it to the staff and asked if they could lower the volume a little, we were told they couldn't do anything about it and that if it bothered us, we could sit outside. We moved outside, but even there the music was still extremely loud. I really think management should ask all guests for feedback about the music volume, because I'm sure we weren't the only people bothered by it. There's a difference between having energetic music and having it so loud that guests can't comfortably talk to each other. We really enjoyed our previous visit, but unfortunately, tonight's experience was very disappointing. read more

Had an incredible time at Holey Moley Irvine with my family! From the moment we arrived, everything felt organized, welcoming, and genuinely well-run. We had a 3:30 reservation, and the team was super flexible with both our start time and how long we stayed, which made the whole experience feel relaxed instead of rushed. The bartenders were incredibly friendly and added to the fun atmosphere, the food was surprisingly amazing (definitely better than you'd expect for an entertainment venue), and the entire place felt very clean and well maintained. There are so many fun photo opportunities throughout the venue, which made it even better for a family outing. The mini golf experience itself was creative, entertaining, and perfect for both adults and kids. It's not always easy finding a place that feels fun, organized, and stress-free all at once, but this place nailed it.We left talking about when we're coming back. Holey Moley at the Irvine Spectrum was such a fun and memorable stop for our Valentine's date! We played the Red Course, which includes 9 holes, and had the best time. From what we saw, there are three different courses total, which makes it a great place to come back and try something new each visit. The holes were super creative, interactive, and just the right mix of fun and challenging. I especially loved the little tips they post at each hole on how to "sink the ball," such a clever touch that made the experience even more engaging. The atmosphere that night was amazing thanks to the DJ, the music was so good and really added to the energy and overall date-night vibe. It felt lively without being overwhelming. We didn't get a chance to try the food and cocktails this time, but the menu looked really good, so we're already planning to come back for another round (and maybe a different course next time!). If you're looking for a fun, unique date night or group activity, Holey Moley is definitely worth it! read more

Oh, and there's a Din Tai Fung now! Yeah, it's safe to say it's been a while. Where Hijinx Hotel is currently located used to be the 24 Hour Fitness. I don't make it to the Spectrum very often - usually only when I need a service appointment at the Apple Store. So after wrapping up at the Genius Bar, I took a quick stroll to see what was new. And there it was: Hijinx Hotel. My immediate thought was, "What is this?!" I walked in and hushedly asked the front desk, "Is this really a hotel?" After the young lady had a good laugh, she explained it was a whole host of things. As she put it, this is "Where you come to play, NOT to stay!" I asked if I could look around, and she told me to go right ahead. This place is wildly bizarre in the best way possible. It's an eclectic mix of two restaurants/bars, mini-golf, karaoke, challenge rooms, and even a hidden speakeasy that you access through a "secret" door. (Did I mention this place is wild?) I wandered through the main level and ended up heading to the challenge room floor. Just getting there is an experience in itself - you have to ride a deliberately "malfunctioning" elevator. I hesitated for a second, but thought, why the hell not? Let's see where this takes me! Once upstairs, I felt like I was in a restricted area, poking my head into various challenge rooms. At first glance, I had no idea what was happening in most of them, but they looked incredibly fun and intriguing. I noticed instructions posted on the back of each door to guide players. As I turned a corner down a different hallway, everything went completely inverted. Everything. Side tables were mounted to the ceiling, lamps were upside down, and even the room numbers and doors were flipped. There's even a tricycle attached to the ceiling! It took me a second to process what I was looking at because it totally caught me off guard - especially the doors, which initially looked like tiny cupboard doors you had to crawl into. You just have to see it for yourself. After exploring the floor, I was ready to head back down... until I realized there was no down button for the elevator. A brief wave of panic hit: Oh great, am I going to need an employee just to escape this crazy floor?! But I sighed and figured, well, guess I'll keep exploring! Just then, a hotel cast member approached me with a grin: "Looks like you're stuck here!" I laughed and replied, "I guess so! What is this place? It's so wonderfully bizarre." She explained that this is the company's very first U.S. location (it originated in Australia). She kindly offered to let me try out a challenge room, but as much as I appreciated the gesture, this isn't really a solo-adventure type of spot. Hijinx Hotel is definitely built for groups, team-building, or double dates. While we were chatting, a couple came off the elevator and was met by the host from downstairs, who escorted them right to their first challenge room. The entire venue is the epitome of eclectic - from the artwork and decor to the completely offbeat, non-sequitur vibe. "Bizarrely wild" is honestly the best description I can give it. And I dig it! I really wanted to check out the hidden speakeasy (which I hear gets pretty packed on weekends), but it was nearing 5 PM and I was running out of time. (I had just come from Dave & Buster's, terribly shooting aliens and grabbing a drink.) Oh, and I have to mention the restrooms! You walk in and it's set up for everyone - not separated by men, women, or anything else, just a shared, open sink area for everybody. But here's the best part: instead of standard stalls with viewable gaps, every toilet is in its own individual, fully enclosed room. 100% private. Honestly, this is one of the best setups I've ever seen for a public restroom, and I genuinely think it should be the norm everywhere. Why don't more places design bathrooms like this? It gives people a real sense of privacy and dignity. Hijinx Hotel absolutely nailed it! Even though I didn't get to play the games or try the food and drinks on this visit, I had an absolute blast just exploring and chatting with the "bellhops." The aesthetic and energy here are so fantastically off-beat. I really hope this place sticks around - it looks like an absolute launchpad for fun! - Big Aloha!

Definitely make a reservation here! I believe there are only like 4 booths!…read moreWe were able to secure a booth because someone missed their reservation. You will have to go through the main tikibar (Stowaway) and walk to a side door in the back. The theme is along the lines of Pinocchio. After you enter the side door, you will be transported and see a story book. You will walk through a whale's mouth to get to your booth. There is so much to look at all around so take your time admiring the decor while you drink. The tiki drinks are different from Stowaway and are delicious! It's definitely more intimate so you can talk to the bartenders. Though since it's all booths, you won't really see them make the drinks. Overall, fun spot - intimate if you want the tiki vibes in a quieter location

The Belly of the Beast - Pinocchio Speakeasy at Stowaway Tiki Bar, Tustin…read more The Belly of the Beast is a Pinocchio-themed speakeasy tucked inside Stowaway Tiki Bar in Tustin, and it's definitely a fun experience. You actually enter through the mouth of a whale, which immediately sets the tone. The decor and theming are really well done, with plenty of unique details that make the space feel immersive. The atmosphere is more intimate and private compared to the main tiki bar, which makes it a nice change of pace. The food menu is limited, but what we tried was good. The drinks were definitely the highlight. I had the Farewell Jimmy, Smoke the Monster Out, and Geppetto's Last Words--all three were great. Smooth, tropical, flavorful, and definitely potent. Service was okay, but nothing particularly stood out. Overall, The Belly of the Beast is a cool place to check out if you enjoy themed bars and unique experiences. For me, it's probably more of a one-time experience rather than somewhere I'd regularly return to. Still, the creativity, decor, and cocktails make it worth experiencing at least once.

Also salted really well, was a very complete dish. The mezze rigatoni was pretty unique. Extremely savory with a good mix of texture from the al dente pasta, the super crusted sausage, and chili crunch. I liked the extreme savoriness.
