Satisfactory install of hot water tank but one of the installers flooded our guest bathroom and got the hallway outside the utility room where they did the install runner floor rug soaked and damaged the flooring. I believe there is better companies out there and i wish i knew what would happen and i would have chosen a different company. read more

I got a Hogg Heating & Cooling post card asking in Large Print "HOW DID WE DO?" This starts with the hire for a hot water tank. As Jack would say later, I got a "LEMON"... he replaced the first 3 weeks later. So when, my air-condition went bad within that year I had him do the full furnace and A.C. install. The A.C. was incapable of lowering the house temperature and would have to run nonstop on warm days just to hold the morning temperature. When winter came, my furnace humidifier was on without the furnace or fan running. It had been spouting water ceaselessly because the humidistat wasn't correctly wired to the furnace. Just a few years later (about a month ago), my A.C. was not working The A.C. had leaked the entire load of coolant [Hogg estimate to fix was $1500]. This time I had the sense to hire someone else to install a new A.C. The reason the first unit was not performing was because the set-up at the furnace was wrong. Jack's installer wired the A.C. fan speed with the furnace full speed, and the A.C. needed a lower speed to let the condenser work properly. When I reached Jack to tell him he was on a roof, and thus naturally impatient. I would have expected him to eventually call me back and say "sorry?" (and credit back the service charge). read more

After unit was installed I was not getting hot air in the house only cool. I called the owner he came over check everthing said it was perfect . I said I am not happy with it he reply with you pick it. I thought what an unprofessional reply. He then check thermostate put i on 88 degrees and said how's that adjust it to whatever you want. At this time I was not happly with his unprofessionalism. It was he didn't no how to fix it..I call two time after that ask him to send out a teck he said I am the teck because I was still not getting heat. He came again and said I know what the problem is we forgot to put freon in the unit outside. After hearing that I decided to call another company . This guy was so unprofessional in knowledge of the product , how to service it , and his cleanlyness walked in my house without putting covers on is boots. When I ask him if had any to put on he ignored me and walk thur the house to the thermostate. The other company came and spent hours reinstalling the unit the correct way and now its working perfect. read more

If you need any heating or cooling service, this is the one to call. Their customer service is top notch. They call you back right away to see what the problem is and then schedule an appointment. Used them for the first time in May to do an a/c clean and check. They showed up on time and were very thorough. The owner is an awesome guy and really knows his business. Just last week, we had an issue with our a/c. We called on a Tuesday evening around 8pm and they originally said they couldn't get someone out until Saturday (due to hot weather and large amount of calls). The owner called me Wednesday at 6:20 am and said he would be out within 20 minutes. Problem was fixed by 7:10 am. All of the employees are very knowledgeable, friendly and respectful. Do not call them. Just had the worst experience. I'm a real estate agent and one of my client called them to do some work on the furnace and remediation on some asbestos. They came out, only serviced the furnace and not do any work on the promised asbestos, promised us a letter saying that the asbestos did not needed work (I needed a written letter for proof). 1 whole week, 4 phone calls and emails passed and no phone calls. Finally the owner Jack calls and says he will send me an email this afternoon. I asked why the asbestos wasn't treated that day and what the letter would entail., and he says he doesn't know (he was the one out there checking to see if it was asbestos) starts screaming on the phone telling me that he doesn't need this and get someone else to do the job. Now I have to tell the client he needs to pay someone else and pay him to do job again. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. read more

This company is amazing! The owner came out right away on a Sunday to help us with our heat when we woke up to a freezing house. He helped us get heat that day since we have a baby, but not only explained, but showed us why we needed a new furnace (cracked heat exchange). He came out the very next day to replace it. This is the second time I've used Hogg Heating & Cooling and I can not say enough good things about the company! My ac stopped working so I contacted Hogg Heating. Lisa got back to me ASAP and scheduled a time for one of her employees to come take a look it. Travis came to our house on Saturday am, did a few diagnostics on it, changed the filter, cleaned it up, and he even called to let me know what was going on with it. Said it was working and all is well. Our ac stopped working again and he came back out on Sunday am (I'm guessing his day off too). Checked again and found the blower motor was going. Scheduling next week for someone to come back out to replace the motor. Hogg Heating and Cooling went above and beyond for me. They are efficient, honest, hard working, and extremely reasonably priced!!! My husband and I will always recommend this company and their employees to everyone. Called to have a clean and check done today, was scheduled between 8-9AM. Never showed. I spoke to Jack (the owner) and asked for a discount for the inconvenience. He proceeded to yell at me and told me to go somewhere else, then hung up. I have had 6 furnaces put in by Hogg between my property and rental properties and cannot believe how rudely I was treated after being a long time customer. Buyer beware! read more

OWNER IS A DRUNK SCAM ARTIST! My hubby & I own a bar. We hired Hogg to look at our ice machine & clean coils on commercial coolers. SUB PAR job cleaning coils & we were OVERCHARGED!! Charged for 6 coolers, we only have 5. The owner JACK was the 1 who came to do the job. He also said he would need to make a 2nd trip out to see what cooler temperatures were after cleaning. No one from HOGG came back. When I called JACK personally to express the obvious issues, he sounded very inebriated & argued with me! Told me there must have been 6 coolers if that's what was written on invoice. I responded by saying well you are supposed to come back to check temps, how could we hide the number of coolers we have behind the bar? ! read more

With my husband out of the country on business and neither of our AC units working, I called to setup an appointment, and reminded them that the last 2 years the capacitors has to be replaced. They came out as scheduled and proceeded to tell me that 1 unit needed compressor replaced and the other was out of Crean which would be $1000 to test for a leak using the 9 lbs of Freon that it would take. So after this 10 min diagnosis I was and given quote for $20,000 to replace both units (including furnaces) and a bill for $100 for the service call. I called another vendor immediately and within a day had 2 new capacitors installed and a Freon charge for one of the units and now, a week later have freezing air flowing through the house for $265. It took less than 2 hours of work to complete the job and I was thrilled. read more

We competitively reviewed bids for our air conditioning and heating for high-efficiency furnace us. Look at for companies and determined in the end the most competitive bid was hogg heating and cooling. There's always a concern when you take the most competitive bed with her in the end you'll be satisfied as a customer with the installation and the performance. We were satisfied with both installation and performance. They couldn't of been more responsive to our target date for installation and their completion date for the project. We would certainly use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone looking for heating air conditioning or the full package especially high-efficiency. read more

very upset about the service that I received guy came out Saturday morning because the motor in my burners went the motor was under warranty and he told me that I would be charged $97 for labor for the job I sign the receipt for $97 he came out Monday morning today change the motor and charged me $318 instead of the $97 I specifically asked him Saturday if $97 would be the total cost cuz I had to make sure I had enough money for him when he came back Monday and he said yes well he lied to me because he just charged me $318 and I don't even have the money in my account to cover the check for the cost now read more
