Sept. 2,2026 Main sewage line from home to street was not adequately draining. Gorjanc Service Technicians Jerry Lynch and Deonte Thornton assessed the problem. Went right to work. They cleared tree roots, and wipes. Line was snaked, hydro jetting and camera. The sewer line was spotless. These two gentlemen very knowledgeable and respectful. If you have a main sewer line issue call Gorjanc Service. They have the knowledge and Technicians. Cost very reasonable. read more

We had an issue with our air conditioning unit. The office took all of our observations and a service professional was dispatched. Our technician was experienced in HVAC SYSTEMS for many years. He diagnosed the issue immediately and a part was replaced. There was no sales pressure as we would have not known the situation. We had such an amazing customer service experience and have never had an issue with any previous repairs in the past. You get what you pay for and the value we have paid in the past has served us well. Thank you Gorjanc for keeping us cool during this muggy heatwave! Our air conditioning unit is back up again at 100 %. We are very happy with the results! read more

Way overpriced. We needed our dehumidifier to be replaced. We were charged $4,000 for the product and installation. We have a 1200 square foot home. read more

Always professional courteous and reliable their technicians are knowledgeable and their work is impeccable.

Gorjanc is the worst! They do not stand behind their work at all. They installed a mini split system for me and I've had nothing but trouble with it. They have refused to come out and diagnose problems under warranty, instead, requiring that I pay service fees for them to come out and identify problems with a system that has been under warranty. Find another HVAC contractor that will stand behind their work. read more

It cost $387.51 to have a dimmer switch repaired which is beyond what some might say it would cost. The electrician seemed competent although I did not understand why he went all over the house to look at electrical work. I later understood that he was working on evaluating all of the electrical work in my home to make a recommendation for what needed to be updated. The recommended plan would cost just under $10,000 and I would need to pay 50% (almost $5000) at that time. I stated that I would be getting other estimates and was told that this estimate was only good for 30 days. Obviously I was not going to pay 50% for work that I had not asked for nor was I convinced that was necessary at this time. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and I try to carefully evaluate what is needed for safety. There was heavy sales pressure used and I would not use this company again. This was followed up with a call the following day to check out how there electrician had done and again heavy sales pressure. I explained that I could not afford what the company charges. I was told that they are not cheap but they do offer quality work. I am in process of getting other estimates of what needs to be done for safety of my home. I was angered with the heavy sales pressure in addition to the exorbitant costs. Perhaps if someone is wealthy this might be the appropriate company but not for this senior citizen. I understand that companies are in the business of making money but was surprised at the heavy sales pressure. I have never experienced that type of pressure from other companies that I have worked with and especially object to that. read more

Our furnace, A/C and hot water tank all were aged and needed to be replaced. We met with four different local companies and Gorjanc easily made the top of the list for many reasons, but primarily their professionalism and extensive knowledge about their products. They communicated efficiently and effectively, making us aware of what to expect for their first visit to gather information to prepare a quote. No other company that visited us came as prepared and were as precise with measurements and asking us questions to make sure that our needs were being met. The installation was done by a crew of very kind and considerate workers who also communicated well and walked us through everything once completed to show us everything and answer our questions. They never seemed in a hurry to finish the job and they cleaned everything up without a trace of any work being done or equipment being removed. It was obvious they were confident in the installation process and worked cohesively as a team. Gorjanc is a solid company who stands behind their products and services. It was a large, much needed investment in our home and we are grateful we found a trustworthy group of professionals to help us make a difficult decision. Thank you Gorjanc! read more

Outrageously overpriced! $700 dollars for twenty minutes work and a couple of bucks in parts.

$650 to snake a slow sink drain. The national average is $250 with the range being $100-$360. Gorjanc's charges appear excessive no matter how you look at it. Use them if price is no object. read more

Made an appointment to have my electrical checked at a rental after a power surge. Appt set between 8-9. Day of appt. I arrived at 8:00. Got a call around 8:30 saying technician is sick! Did he just Call in? Is that the only tech they have? Very hard to get reliable service these days! read more

We pay $25 a month for them to maintain our furnace. And yet it still has issues. It's new mind you. When we first hired them, they had us spend a couple thousand to buy this, that and the other. Which I heard they do sometimes. Well we recently had an issue, they came over and checked briefly and said everything was fine. The charge? Over $100. Seriously? For a few minutes stay and nothing was done? I've heard others say this company is not what it used to be and a rip off now, I am thinking its true. read more

Gorjanc comfort service put in my heating and cooling what a Great Job. Thanks to Jordan Wuif. read more

They quoted me a lower rate on the phone when I scheduled the appointment and why I went with them vs another company. When they arrived they told me the price was more. Then, they lied and told me the manufacturer they needed to talk to troubleshoot any problems charges them. I called the manufacturer and they confirmed they don't charge them. They tried to sell me a new product multiple times instead of fixing my appliance. They told me the products the manufacturer suggested may not solve my problems. When I talked to the manufacturer they told me they would never say the fix was a suggestion and that it should fix the problem. Please save yourself time and money by calling someone else for any issues you have with plumbing, heating, cooling, etc. read more

Absolutely phenomenal service. My fiancé and I purchased a home in the area in March 2018. I called for a general service tune up on my furnace and whole-home air cleaner in December 2018. After explaining that "everything is functioning just fine, I'm just trying to ensure it stays that way with some maintenance," I was booked an appointment in mid-January, which was completely fine with me. The technician confirmed the appointment 24 hours in advance, and I received a text and an email when he was dispatched to the house. His name was Ryan, he was incredibly kind and courteous, and he got started right away. He cleaned everything, performed a combustion analysis, checked for recalls, and checked the humidifier as well. He taught me a few things, and never once tried to sell me something that wasn't needed. After learning the furnace is in phenomenal shape, I was charged (what I feel was) a very nominal fee for his time and services. It should be known that Ryan performed his tune-up with the utmost professionalism, and was very courteous. Thank you Gorjanc, we will call you in the spring for the A/C! read more

Not surprised to see these recent reviews. I've also used Gorjanc multiple times over the past years including referring them to the people who purchased my last home. As time has gone on they've gotten more rude and more expensive. I had them out to provide an estimate on some electrical work and they were $1,200 more than the highest estimate I received for the exact same work. When they were on site we discussed installing a whole home surge protector for $300 dollars. Long story short, I had another company do the big job and I asked Gorjanc to complete the surge because they were using a better product. I was called a few days later to be told that their service manager doesn't want to do the work since I already chose another electrician to do the other job! Must be nice to be able to pass on work. I like their electricians and HVAC teams, but the service manager and whomever else is running things leaves a lot to be desired. They're the highest priced in the game by far and they have a cocky ungrateful attitude when anyone questions them on why they're so much higher than everyone else. I wouldn't go as far as to say "avoid them", but I would say "Proceed with caution" read more

Tankless water heater. We installed a tankless water heater. The guys from Gorjanc were fantastic. From the initial consultation to finish. Explained options , process, maintenance and totally cleaned everything before they left. DEFINITELY recommend. read more

I would have liked to have given them a higher rating, but their recent behavior has been rude, dismissive and unprofessional, so my only defense is to now reach out to social media.   Gorjanc Comfort Services has been my heating and cooling service company for the past 18 years. Services have included: a new furnace installation, new humidifier/humidistat installation, new hot water tank installation, furnace maintenance, and plumbing quotes.   I have been a loyal customer. I always pay their bills on time. So I was surprised last month when I called because my new hot water tank, still under warranty, was leaking. I asked to set up an appointment for service, and I was told to find another service provider. The Gorjanc representative noted that I had services discounted in the past, and I responded that I had used the coupons that they had provided. Was that the reason? And why would that matter?   Last year when the hot water tank was installed, the technician damaged the basement floor paint. They offered to come and touch it up if I would provide the paint, which I agreed to. Then they changed their mind and said they would take something off the bill, i.e. $25. The painting repair was estimated at $100 and they agreed. In my mind, the situation was resolved.   Since then, I have called them a couple of other times, successfully, to replace a humidistat that they had originally installed and for a plumbing quote for which I paid a fee.   The day I was told to find another service provider, I asked to talk with an owner or manager to discuss their decision, and I was assured one would call me back. A couple weeks passed with no phone call, so I mailed a certified letter to the attention of the company president asking him to call me about this. That was more than five weeks ago. No one has responded.   Something has changed within the company in the past year or two. It seems the employees have taken over the decision-making and are calling the shots as to which customers to keep and which to toss. Is anyone familiar with an established service business that runs this way? This is not the quality company I once knew and used. read more

Chris is a terrific plumber and person. He is very professional and knowledgeable when it comes to all kinds of issues. He takes his time and keeps you informed on what is going on. I have used Gorjanc multiple times over the past few years for my clients' in real estate. Today, we had them out in Richmond Heights to find and repair a gas leak. They were inside the home for just under 30 minutes, found the leak and replaced the valve, but the bill was $403. A gas valve like the one they used is literally around 8 bucks at Home Depot. That's basically two guys at $395 an hour each. Not using them again. Pure robbery. My seller needed it fixed immediately so authorized the payment. read more

Our heating has stopped working during Christmas holidays and we were freezing. We called few local companies but nobody called us back for several hours. We found Gorjanc from internet. We contacted Gorjanc and got a call back from Mark shortly. He came to our home within 45 min after we called Gorjanc. He checked and solved our problem right way. My elderly mother called them to look at her furnace humidifier. She was getting bloody noses because of the dry air. The workman went downstairs and flipped the switch on from off. He told my mother that it was a loose wire but he tightened it up and it was working now. In actuality, it was not working, he did not even have the water hooked up to it running. He says he suggested a new one, she says he did not say anything about a new one. and he said this one was working. We installed a new humidifier by ourselves. Too bad the workman did not care enough, if he did, he waould have the water on and the dial turned up to high humidity instead of low if he had indeed actually fixed it, but the water was not even on! Very disappointed. In their defense, they did offer to come out again to look at it, but why bother when they could have done the right thing the first time out. read more

Our furnace broke down the evening of the coldest day of the year. We called Gorjanc the following morning, and they responded within an hour. The gentleman who came out found that we needed a new furnace: The heat exchanger on the old one could not be repaired. After he left Mr. Gorjanc arrived and helped us select a very efficient gas furnace. The following day it was installed by two knowledgeable, polite, and hard-working men, Frank and Zack. They not only installed the furnace, but they also found a water tank pipe that was too narrow, and they fixed that too. Also, the cleanup was perfect. We could not be happier with the job. read more
