Food was great as always! Shotgun Willie need to be more moist, it was a bit too dry for my liking but it still had good flavor.

Stopped in here today for lunch with my Dad and his caregiver. The interior was cute. Retro 50s style. Our server, though in training, was very attentive. The three of us all ordered something different and we all enjoyed our choices. My Dad got the Shotgun Willie (A heapin' mess of hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, bell peppers, red onion, cheddar and jack all on top of a biscuit and gravy. Topped with a big, fried jalapeño) with a side of sausage gravy. It was so huge. Enough for 3 separate meals. His Caregiver ordered the Cheeseburger Deluxe. The burger patty appeared to be hands pressed, definitely not one of those pre-formed patties. She really liked it. It also came with beer battered fries. I went with the Rockin' Rawlins Wrap (Spinach, grilled chicken breast, bacon, craisins, sliced almonds and mozarella tossed in our secret neighborhood dressing and wrapped in a warm whole wheat tortilla) and my choice of side was tomato soup. I really enjoyed the wrap and the tortilla it was wrapped in was very tasty.

    Cute 50's diner theme!

Delicious food, great service and decent prices plus very cute ambiancehere with the 50's diner feel!! The Rockin' Rawlins wrap is delicious! The dressing is soooo good!!! The Denver omelet is good!! And the Hashbrowns were done perfectly!! 10 out of 10 here!!!

    Excellent milkshakes!

Great food and service and the best milkshakes ever. You can have breakfast at any time of the day and I like that with any restaurant. When I go back, I'm gonna try their pancakes. That's how I judge if a place is top-notch as my pancakes.

4+ stars for service. Food was good, but just average. Neat theme from the decor to the music.

These guys are really known as a very good shake spot as they serve it in a glass and additional metal blender cup. The place has a nice retro vibe to it and the food has always been on the better side of the diner food scale. They are generally very generous with portions as well. Service has been good every time we've been in, with drinks being topped off regularly. A fine little diner if you're in the mood for such a thing.

Came on a weekday for brunch with a friend. Their menu has a great variety of brunch and lunch options, perfect to find something for everyone. Prices are slightly higher than I thought they would be with brunch dishes being $15, but that's the new average now. Overall this place was okay. I wouldn't mind coming back if someone wanted to or for convenience (next to Trader Joes haha), but I don't think I would crave this or go out of my way for this place if that makes sense. PARENTS: They have boosters, high chairs, and car seat swings available. PARKING: Free in the lot its located. MACK DADDY SCRAMBLE: This came with 3 eggs scrambled with bacon, ham, link, bell peppers, onion and mozzarella cheese. This also came with a side of hash browns and your choice of toast (I got sourdough). Overall this came as I expected and I would get this again. The toast was a little on the overly buttery side for my personal preference, so I would just ask for less next time. COFFEE: They don't offer lattes, but just simple fresh brewed coffee. I do wish they had bigger mugs for coffee because I had to keep bugging the poor girl for refills (or I might have to drink less coffee haha).

We ordered the French omelette with steak, which came with wild mushrooms, and it was out of this world. The omelette was beautifully done, and the combination of the tender steak and earthy mushrooms was absolutely delicious. The gold leaf coffee was definitely a fun, elevated touch and made the whole brunch feel extra special. What really stood out was how well they balance aesthetic and flavor. The food looks beautiful, but thankfully, it's not style over substance--the flavors absolutely deliver. Service was amazing and impressively quick, with our food coming out fast. The ambience is classy and beautiful, making this a great spot for a more elevated brunch experience. If you're in Spokane and love brunch, do not miss House of Brunch. Highly recommend!

However, Luna does offer a lot of things for this price. You have a pleasant neighborhood restaurant vibe, with friendly attentive service and excellent, healthy food sourced from good places. As with anything in Spokane, you will see folks in very casual attire, but this is also a place where you can dress up. When we went, there were several tables of women friends (all ages), many family groups (without young kids or with well-behaved kids), and older couples. I was in the mood for salmon and they did a great version. It should be though for just under $50. It was served with black rice (good) and roasted carrots (good) and a carrot puree (really good but not enough on the plate). My dining companion got the scallops, and they were even more expensive than the salmon. $48 for TWO scallops. Ok, they are large, and well-cooked, and came with a lovely vegetable mix and couscous, but that's a lot of $ for Spokane. We are from CA and that's even a shocker for us. Dessert: they had recently added a banana pudding, which was good. It replaced a chocolate dessert--and that was a bad move because there is no intense chocolate on the menu. We also tried the coconut cake with lemon curd. There was not enough curd; it was barely a tang. The cake itself was a little dry. It is served with house-made ice cream, which balances the dryness but the cake should be good on its own. Apparently, this is their most popular dessert. I am a chocolate-first person. I like coconut. I like good vanilla. I really like lemon curd and a sweet-sour pairing. For me, this item felll short.

What's even more special is the staff remembered us from previous visits! Bravo, Luna!!

We tried the smoked brisket hash, shrimp and grits, and breakfast burrito, and every dish delivered. The smoked brisket hash was hearty and packed with smoky, savory flavor, while the shrimp and grits were rich, creamy, and incredibly satisfying. The breakfast burrito was also loaded with flavor and made for a perfect brunch bite. The drinks deserve a special mention too! They have a huge variety of mimosa flavors, which is basically everything you want at brunch. We tried the classic and yuzu, and both were delicious. We told the server it tasted burnt & old so she offered to make a fresh pot. It was just as bad, when she asked we said it was still really yucky and she said that a lot of people don't care for it. I ordered the tamale waffle. The beef was great, eggs were a bit overcooked but no biggie, the waffle was really hard and dry. It needs some sort of crema sauce or something. It wasn't horrible by any stretch but it wasn't great either. My mom got the veggie breakfast burrito and she liked the veggies though it was bland, felt like it could have had more sour cream & cheese. It was massive and came with a side. The added 16% service fee is some real BS. It says on the receipt that it's split between the server & the kitchen staff. Call me old fashioned but I thought it was on the restaurant to pay their staff a living wage. At $18 a breakfast plate & $4 for drip coffee you should be able to pay your staff. And then we're supposed to tip on top of that? Nope.

I am talking no juice dry. The way the patties were made made it difficult to even eat. They were so roundish that I could barely keep them together in the bun. To make the burger even dryer, there was no sauce of any kind on/in the bun and the meat had not been seasoned at all during cooking, so it was dry and bland. Too make matters worse I had to ask for a side of mayo and they charged me 75 cents - are you kidding me? I was hesitant to ask for some mustard and ketchup, which should have already been at or brought to the table to begin with. The waitress was pleasant, but I had to ask for everything. I would have returned the burger, but I was having lunch with a friend and did not want to ruin the encounter. I got the batter fries, which were crispy and seasoned well, but with the dry burger the fries didn't help. At that moment I wish I had ordered the side salad instead, as my friend's looked mouthwatering and my mouth needed watering; LOL. Anyway, the burger and fries, with water came to almost $25, with tip. I had been there once before, but I couldn't remember what I had; it was that memorable. I hate McDonald's and have not been there in about a decade, but I would have gladly eaten a double quarter pounder, with cheese, and some fries over this overpriced cotton mouth special. These guys were not even busy, so there is no excuse for the unsatisfactory food. I will not be back.
