Three of us stopped in for lunch on a busy Wednesday about 1pm. Their brick lined wide open space allows for almost a complete 360 view of entire restaurant, bar and TV's. Our server was pleasant and attentive constantly checking in and refilling beverages. Has Philly cheesesteak with Mac and cheese, onion soup chicken with slaw and chicken Ceasars salad. Everything was delicious and plentiful. Enjoy!

I've seen this place for years in the area, but never stopped to try them out. Went yesterday for a quick lunch. There weren't busy at all and we were seated immediately. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. I was with a group and we all ordered something different. Food was fresh, hot, portions were plentiful and had good flavor.

Ambience was lively, very busy for a Thursday which meant the food must be good. Service was great for how busy it was, I had 2 beers and our waitress was great to make sure I was satisfied. Food was pretty good! Not anything spectacular but it was very good and I would definitely go back!

Build your own burger, grilled toast with peanut butter and jelly with a patty

There is absolutely nothing "wimpy" about the portion size or the taste. The patty was juicy, seasoned perfectly, and the toppings were fresh. If you're looking for a burger that actually fills you up and delivers on flavor, this is the one to get.

Our experience here was excellent! We stopped in at 11:30am on a sunday and were quickly seated. The patio was already pretty full but luckily we got a table. They have picnic tables off the deck as well as a "kiddy" grassy area and a decent amount of seating inside. They have a great craft beer selection, really fun cocktails and a variety of daily specials. I had a mimosa then a peach margarita which was delicious. The steak tacos were fantastic!! And the house made chips made my day! Great little place and extremely affordable!

Pimento cheese bites $10.00 "value"

The food is good but the portions keep getting smaller while the price continues to increase. I understand everything is going up but 10 dollars for fried cheese...thats a bit much. Service is okay, but hostess situation is not great usually. The metal chairs on the concrete floors were not thought out AT ALL. Its in a good location and has a cool vibe, but not sure its going to continue to be worth the cost.

The service was slow and food was not great at all. There are better options close by. They have a nice fenced area for kids to play.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill - Filet Steak

During the middle of the week I decided to try a newer restaurant I hadn't been too for my birthday…read moredinner! I had been hearing good things about Firebirds in Fort Mill and as this was my special birthday meal I felt this might be the place to go. We arrived a little after 4 on a Wednesday evening. You can see from my pictures that the decor was very warm and cozy. There were tables, booths and combo bench/tables. Also there was a large bar you could sit at and enjoy the atmosphere. Our waitress was super friendly and was very attentive to our table. She answered our questions we had like about the Ranch Rings. Turns out it's just a side of ranch you can did the rings in. She also offered us some bread for the table which we never turn down. It was warm and the whipped butter was soft and easy to spread! The Rings were amazing! Very crispy and fully cooked. You didn't get that onion pulling out of the coating that I hate. And there was so many of them that three of us split this very easily! For my dinner I was going all in with the Surf N Turf. A 9oz bacon wrapped filet with a half pound lobster tail! I also got the seasoned steak fries for my side. Again the waitress was great asking what extras I needed with my meal, i.e. ketchup, melted butter, steak sauce etc. For the most part my meal was excellent. The fries were crisp on the outside but had a good fluffy potato on the inside. The lobster was presented outside the tail and was easy to remove and then slice up to be dipped in the butter. The bacon around the filet was fully cooked and not rubbery at all! But it looked like they had cut into the filet to check the temp. I did as for it to me Medium and it was probably a touch over but there was some pink inside so it was ok. Overall it was good but I didn't have that eyes rolling back in your head OMG YUM moment. My parents both decided to try their three course meal. You get a starter, an entree and a dessert for a reasonable price. Both my parents chose the mixed greens salad for their starter. They both enjoyed it and was surprised by the size of it expecting to get smaller portions with this three course meal deal. Again they were surprised when their entrée's arrived. A full rack of ribs and a large grilled sirloin steak was presented to them. Dad very much enjoyed his parmesan mashed potatoes before attacking the ribs. Mom asked for her steak to be medium well but it looked well done instead but it was fine for her. Unfortunately her mashed potatoes arrived cold. Our waitress was on it and brought a side of piping hot mashed potatoes for her very quickly. For dessert mom got the bread pudding which came with a large scoop of vanilla ice cream and side of caramel sauce. Dad got the creme Brulee petite cheesecakes. I swiped the ice cream from mom as she didn't want it and poured some of what tasted like house made caramel sauce over it. It was delicious! By the time we were leaving over 90 minutes later the restaurant was getting quite full. The food and service was all very good. It's not the type of place I'm gonna come to every week but for those special nights out when you want a cozy place to relax and have a good meal, this is the spot!

We were seated quickly. Our server Kianna introduced herself and gave us the lay of the land. She described and recommended the signature cocktail. It was a pineapple drink that was both fragrant, tasty and refreshing. We ordered bacon deviled eggs and Philly cheesesteak egg rolls for appetizers. I had a delicious NY Strip cooked medium and an extraordinary salad with a citrus and lime vinaigrette. We were served hot bread right out the oven. Our server was attentive and anticipated our needs. There were other celebrations around us and this is a classy, warm and welcoming place to enjoy and make a special memory. I highly recommend Firebirds Wood Fire Grill in Fort Mill.

The beef brisket(extra $5) slices are thick, smokey, beefy, and so beautiful. Very good, but a bit on the dry side. No worries, just add one of the many BBQ sauces, all lovely and special in their own ways. The house slaw is nice and light with an Asian inspired dressing. According to the server, we received a smaller than normal order of pork rinds. Which wasn't that big of a deal because it literally looked like they opened the bag of gas station pork rinds and poured them onto a tray with seasoning. Fries were brought out later, but they were cold. The charcuterie board was good for quantity, but my mouth quickly got tired of the flavors. Everything seemed crazier than it needed to be, and none of the sauces really stood out. In fact, all of them were sweeter than I had expected. Oh yeah, when I ordered a Bud Light with a glass, the glass was dirty. So the food was definitely an under achieving moment. Next, the server was actually nice and the ambience was great. It's a smart looking establishment . But you don't go to a restaurant for the looks, you go for the food and in that regard, I was decidedly underwhelmed.

The atmosphere and the view were absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing, and the drinks were fantastic. Our server, Yeti, was outstanding. He was incredibly attentive to detail, explained the menu so well, had so much patience with us, and suggested wonderful dishes for us to try. You can really tell he cares about giving guests a great experience. I was a little worried that because it was Mother's Day we might feel rushed, but not at all. Everything felt relaxed, welcoming, and thoughtfully paced. The manager was also so friendly and kind, which made the experience even more special. We left so impressed and happy. I would recommend this place 100 times over, and I definitely can't wait to come back -- and ask for Yeti again! Wow... just amazing!

Very disappointed in what Napa has become…read more. I am never one to post things like this because I work in the service industry. I know people and places have their off days and am very understanding. With that said, I'm actually appalled with the way my parents were treated at Napa today on their anniversary. Back story- I ate at Napa 6 years ago for my prom dinner in a large group and everything was great, so i recommended they go there. Unfortunately for them, there's been major changes and apparently for the worse. They came in and were offered a toast for their anniversary. They were the only table in there and service already seemed pretty slow. After receiving the complimentary wine and bread, they asked about the mussels. The server came back a while later (again no one else to be served in there) and told them the mussels needed to be shucked and couldn't be served... I feel like I don't even have to explain why that seems like a blatant lie, when specifically Napa's mussels are served in the shell (steamed) and not shucked. I could be wrong about that, I don't work in Napa's kitchen, but the real problem was after that. The server then never came back after 20-30 minutes. My parents sat there debating "should we leave, should we stay?"... Ultimately deciding to leave, they ran into the server on the way out. To keep the peace, they told him that something came up and they had to go. This server, knowing it was their anniversary, and knowing he just blatantly ignored them, responded with "yeah we already heard y'all talking about it" ?????? I'm sorry, what? You knew they were wondering where you were at, overheard them talking about it, and never went back over to do your job? Absolutely unacceptable and I am so truly embarrassed to have recommended Napa to them. This was their 2nd anniversary and they wanted to try something new. They originally had reservations at The Pump House, and those were canceled because of the weather. I told them they could try Napa, it's owned by the same people, and I had a great experience. Like I said, I know people and places have off days, but there is no fixing this experience for them. They never want to go back after being treated like they weren't wanted. Feels like a problem from the top down. I hope no one else's anniversaries are ruined because of managers who aren't paying attention to the floor they're supposed to be running. Edited - They are not still owned by the same people, but that is what I had thought originally when recommending.

Waitress just didn't follow up. My water sat unrefilled for a long time. Fried okra didn't taste like okra - but that suited a few of the party. But a few of us expected okra flavor only to be disappointed. Temp on the fried green tomatoes should have been warmer but overall it was very tasty. Our appetizer empty plates sat for a while - we even stacked them so it was clear they should be cleared. Ordered the salmon, which was good, but so did my mom. We ordered different temps and they couldn't tell which was which. Wife ordered a salad and for the price, there was barely anything there. Mac and cheese is still the star. Oysters were decent - I expected larger. The half chicken was a generous portion - nice crispy outside but a bit dry inside. I wouldn't order it (I almost did, but my one of our party did). One of our party ordered a stuffed leeks and it was so salty it was inedible. They did fix it and admitted it should have never left the kitchen. By the time the replacement came out it was after 6:05 (and they had to leave at 6:15). So they didn't get to eat their celebratory meal with the rest of us. Not the memory you want for a meal. Desserts were good. Tort was dense - honestly not sure if that's normal. Crème brûlée was very good. For a $400+ experience and our history with Pump House, I expected more.
