We grabbed a reasonably priced drink at the bar on the way in. We also had a bottle of wine ($30 Renegade Zin) with the main course. The prime rib came rare, at my request. My only complaint is that it was under seasoned. The texture and flavor of the meat itself was excellent. The sides were great. Both the garlic mash and green beans hit the spot. When the entrées came out three people had ordered filet mignon's, which I was told was very tasty. One of the patrons had ordered New York strip (three of us confirmed that) and was given and charged for a filet mignon rather than taking it back to the kitchen and giving the patron what they ordered. It was unfortunate, but the service in my opinion was not four-star they did check on us occasionally and kept the water glasses full and 'maybe' they even asked if everything was OK. Not wanting to spend $60 for a steak (I was a guest) I ordered the seafood roast. It turned out to be a very tasty bisque, but a tasty bowl of soup shouldn't cost $35.00. Give em try if you want to gamble on a great experience. My recommendation is to go to Western Steakhouse, enjoy the much better ambience, 120% better experience for maybe 10% more. It took another 15 min just to get our check and pay. He said he was "busy putting out fires". Sir, this was not the Hawk Fire zone, and it wasn't that busy. Servers were all over the rest of the patio getting food, drinks and checks. I was a server for over 10 years, so I notice things. If there's delays, just stop by your section and communicate. No reason to ghost several tables and I'm certain by his uniform that our guy wasn't the manager on duty that evening. While they still had their Holiday drink specials menu, the server did confirm they have 2 for 1 mimosas and $6 bloody marys. The special was a Prime Rib breakfast burrito which both of the people I came in with ordered while I ordered the breakfast BLT. The Prime Rib burrito was so tender and juicy with a fried egg in the middle, definitely a special item for sure. I had the BLT on an everything bagel with a side of fruit and it hit the spot of a lighter, less hearty breakfast. For good service and cheap drinks, I will definitely be back!
