The staff was incredibly rude about my return the lady at the fabric counter was arguing how was she supposed to know what I got after I gave her my receipt for some reason. The lady at checkout said she didn't know what was going on with my receipt and wanted us to give her the faulty fabric when the lady at the fabric counter had taken it. Then the manager was called and she was just rude in general no apologies about it or any friendliness whatsoever from any of them. It was only my second time at that hobby lobby. I don't plan on returning - Dover is worth the drive I guess.

Instead of receiving assistance, the person on the phone seemed irritated that I was simply asking for an update. I am not asking for free parts or special treatment -- I am paying for my items. As a customer, it is completely reasonable to expect clear communication and respectful service, especially when an order is delayed. It's frustrating to feel like I'm inconveniencing staff by checking on something I paid for. I drive 30-40 minutes to support this store and was even planning to purchase a new X-Maxx, but after this experience, I've decided not to move forward with that purchase. For comparison, I've had consistently positive experiences at HobbyTown, where the staff is helpful, respectful, and willing to assist customers -- especially those who are newer to the hobby. That level of professionalism makes a big difference and is the reason I'm more inclined to continue spending my money there. Customer service matters. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, because the way customers are treated directly impacts whether they return or take their business elsewhere.
