I had a traditional 2 egg breakfast with home fries and sausage. The sausage was delicious! Portions were enormous and I was unable to finish my breakfast. My husband does not like eggs....so he chose the breakfast cheesesteak. It is a ribeye cheesesteak with pimento cheese. It is usually topped with eggs and he ask that they be left off his sandwich. He also added jalapeños. The sandwich was generous and delicious! He also had home fries. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a Bloody Mary as well! Everything was delicious. The patron next to us ordered Nashville Hot Chicken which was served over a pile of French Toast. I think we will need to try that next time we make it to the Surfside Rooster!

It is packed with fabulous unique items related to the beach, music, travel, and other life's pleasures. There are gifts and prints that fit every price point and most of them are one-of-a-kind. I visited this area numerous times during the summer and, besides adding to my Beach Town Posters collection, never failed to find thoughtful host gifts or souvenirs here. The store ambience is welcoming and fun, always with great music playing. The staff is really helpful and lovely.

This is our local hardware store. I love to support the locals. Since we moved here, I have visited…read morehere many times to pick up hardware or other items, which they carry. My PVC irrigation pipe started to leak at the joints, therefore, I picked up some items to repair my leaky irrigation PVC pipe. This store sells much more than just hardware. For example this time I also purchased a 24 x 24 x 4 inch Honeywell air filter for my home's HVAC system. I also purchased a yellow LED outside flood light bulb. The staff here are all locals and are very knowledgeable regarding repairs and where items are located within the store. Checkout here is usually fast because they usually have two open checkout registers. I will continue to return here rather than Lowes or Home Depot, which are further away from my home.

This is the kind or hoarder business that drives itself into the ground. They have some of the same…read moreplant pots as Home Goods but at a whopping 30% increase on price. Seriously. If this place lowered the cost considerably, they might sell some of this stuff. The Buddha, and other statues in my picture, is over $500 just like most of the other large pots sitting outside forever. Come off the price. People will buy. And so on... it will come back around. Inside was really worse. Upon walk in the damp must was a smack in the face. Costs were ridiculous. Even a vegetable brush was $14? (Just as a reference) I walked the whole store actually trying to find something to buy and walked out shaking my head.

I enjoyed winding my way through the maze of goodies. Some of the things that caught my eye were Polish pottery, pretty reusable tote bags, cheeky kitchen gadgets and funny cocktail napkins. They also had sign art, candles, throw blankets, funny socks, adult greeting cards, yard flags and air plants. It's a very eclectic mix of merchandise. The store is a bit tight in spots so I'd recommend against bringing a gaggle of people, big purse or stroller.
