I brought the entire package w packing slip and heard the cashier tell me out right these are NOT Michaels product so she cannot make a return. Despite the packing slip, i had to pull up my email purchase which showed the price I paid. Still she actually held committed that the item isn't. Michaels product. ??? She called the manager who insisted the same. ??? I again pulled up the product ON THE WEBSITE, at which time the manager told me they could not make a return because it was bought online. ??? What? That made no sense to me but I couldn't ask for the person higher than that cuz I already was talking to the boss lady. Oh well. However, the last few times I've been here there was an employee up front who was very rude. She has long blonde curly hair and she works in the front of the store often. Yesterday, an older Asian man was in line. It was obvious that he did not understand what she was saying. She kept repeating, "Do you have a Michael's reward account?" He just kept looking at her; he didn't know what she meant. The more she asked, the more nasty her voice became. Later, when I needed help at the self checkout, she sighed and then came over to help me. I think they need to put someone up front who has more of a customer friendly attitude. They have one of the best funnel cake trucks with amazing fried Oreos, sooo good!!! Treat Dreams has an ice cream truck with their famous flavors. The ice cream cookies are the absolute best!!! They have an eclectic variety of food trucks that look and smell mouthwatering. But they could use more seating, it's very limited compared to the amount of people eating the goodies. I love the adult beverages available to purchase through tickets. They have a ginormous variety of beer and mixed drinks, plus some of the money goes toward different charities and good causes. It's ten tickets for $20, but this year I noticed you may purchase individual tickets. I prefer this option! Tickets are $2 a piece, so most beers cost around $6 or three tickets. I got the Griffinclaw pumpkin beer. It was amazing! Very pumpkin forward with a nice spice aftertaste. Most of the mixed drinks are between three and four tickets, cheaper than most bars. I've even seen some for two tickets. The parking can be challenging. We were able to find a good spot and only paid $3.00. But I wonder if it gets more challenging in the evening hours. I bet this a fun time at night. This is a great event when paired with the Funky Ferndale fair. I look forward to next year.
