Visit the Scottsdale 101 plaza to find Hobby Lobby. It's Christmas at their store. Wow, Halloween isn't even here and the temperatures are still warm. It's hard to get in the mood of the holidays. There is Halloween magic there as well. Shared parking lot. read more

Can't imagine anything that they don't carry!! Crafts, party ware, framing, sewing, yarn, home decor, and the list goes on!! They seem like they get in more and more new items all the time. And it's really a great go-to for fabric and fabric related accessories, since Joann's closed up. And the prices are amazing. Every holiday decoration and then some!! Knowledgeable staff. read more

I could spend hours here walking up and down every isle. If you love arts and crafts, shopping for your home, planning your next party, or looking for unique gifts, this is the place to go. Every season, the isles change, and you better get there when it rolls out, because items fly off the shelf fast, especially if something is going viral on the internet! Sign up for their emails so you can be in the know when and what is rolling out next and what is marked down. I love a good 40% off!! The employees are always very friendly and helpful and do a wonderful job of keeping the store clean and organized. Ive never seen hobby lobby a mess! I stopped in the store at the beginning of August. All of their fall stuff is out and ready for shopping. They are currently working on Christmas! Trees and ornaments are coming out as I type this. It's holiday season! Here we go! Happy holidays! read more

Service was amazing. Lots of items to choose from! It's worth it and has great deals!

We order some lanterns online. They arrived broken. Tried returning them to the store for a refund. We were informed we could only get a store credit because we ordered online. If they're going to do that they should make sure it's plainly written. I don't blame the store. It's not their fault. I will never order from them again. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Every single employee I encountered was rude and unwilling to help. I was looking for yarn and they were restocking, instead of asking if I needed help they asked me to move and get out of their way to restock, if they had helped me for just one minute find what was looking for I would have been out of their way. I asked for assistance multiple times and no one was willing to even let me ask the question. read more

Store manager was very rude . He was in a rush to move things around and didn't even say excuse me it's like he was bothered people were shopping around him during normal business hours . read more

I have been here several times and have always found something to buy even when I don't need it. They have a big array of merchandise. The sales are pretty good but the items I buy usually are not on sale which is my own fault. I have gone there and have had know-it-all employees and then I have had wonderful customer service employees. One thing, I was disappointed to hear is there is no veteran discount. An older man asked if they had and was told no. I was just disappointed in hearing that. read more

I miss Joann's. Hobby Lobby only gets 2 stars for their variety of merchandise but everything else can go about this place. The price is slightly less than Walmart but they put up these "____ always on sale ___% off!" Signs up everywhere. But the sale is only a specific brand, yet the sign is EVERYWHERE in the entire aisle. Shady to always have a discount on something firstly- just price things upfront and honestly. And the placement of signage is misleading. Not to mention absolutely no one around to help with shopping. They're all at the register moving at a snails pace manually entering everything in 2025. And another person just... watching the other people actually helping people. read more

Lots of neat items, especially holiday items this time of the year. Friendly staff and the store was clean and organized. Well stocked as well. Looking forward to coming back. read more

Debra at the fabric counter was very rude! She was very condescending and would not let me take the fabric off the rack. She also judged me for the type of project I was going to do. The scissors were also 40% off and when I grabbed them she said "those aren't on sale" in a very rude way, and I said yes they are and she got all defensive before she realized she was in the wrong. I definitely will not be coming here to get anymore fabric! read more

I stopped in here for some hard to find flexible fabric sealer. The staff was great showing me all of the options for my project and giving me advice. They were very helpful and friendly. And I guess I didn't realize how much home decor Hobby Lobby had, I found so many great items in this very neat and clean store. My daughter and I had been looking for some wooden letters for a project and we found them here in multiple sizes and shapes. This store is great for crafters ! read more

Their check out is always sooooooooooooooo slow!!! I mean easy to shop and find things but good luck checking out!

I could spend days in this awesome store! So well stocked and so clean and organized.

Always a pleasure to stop at Hobby Lobby no matter the location. Items are always neatly stocked, and the staff are so nice and friendly.

I had left a picture in bought and kept in contact with management they all were super nice but today when i went to pick up my item i also bought a few more things the lady Connie that checked me out was so rude and not helpful what's so ever there was a girl on the other check out lane was helpful and got me my item. read more

I used to endure the long checkout times because they have cool items you can't find anywhere else. However, I find it's no longer worth the 30 plus minute checkout times at 11:00 on a Monday morning. Due to the nature of the merchandise, transactions can take a long time with wrapping items and small items that have to be scanned and OFTEN looked up. A single transaction can easily take 4-8 minutes. It doesn't help there is only ONE checkout open, the staff moves at half speed, the line is 5-6 deep with 5 employees just walking the store. When I mention it; I get a snide "were doing the best we can". If only. This store can use a class on customer relations. read more

Very big hobby lobby store. North side of Mayo and just left of Ashley furniture. Friendly and active staff. For the thousands of small items they carry, the place was spotless and very organized. They have everything you can possibly think of for arts and crafts. Adults to kids. read more

I love this Hobby Lobby and am so happy this fairly new location opened up close to home. Very clean, spacious store full of treasures. Bought quite a few gems at great prices for Thanksgiving and Christmas this past year...love their displays. I have shopped at this location countless times since it opened, and the ladies at the front registers have always been nice and friendly. read more

Great location! There's always a deal anytime I go. Anything I happen to need at the moment coincidentally is on sale! During Christmas time- they had a whole galore of items for extremely affordable prices. read more

I love Hobby Lobby because of their Christian values and incredible selection. However, they constantly display items with a huge discount that are actually not discounted . Normally i would give them 5 stars. But because of the constant misrepresentation at my local store of sale items, the best they get is 3 stars. Please note in the attached photo that flag cases were " not," 50% off but were full price. The nice but persistent woman at the checkout wanted to persistently explain to me why I was wrong. There is an old saying in business, " if you are explaining, you are losing." Today Hobby Lobby, consider it a loss. read more

Please update your antiquated check out and return process! Only one register can do returns and this store in stuck in the 1980s with its manual registers. So frustrating. read more

I tend to be someone who will go out of my way to compliment excellent customer service but felt the need to comment when treated rudely by an employee. First of all, I love Hobby Lobby!! I have literally spent thousands of dollars at various Hobby Lobby stores in IL and AZ, while decorating homes in both locations. I appreciate their Christian values & applaud their commitment to giving their employees the day off on Sundays for spiritual & family time. I will say that I have not always been impressed with some of their employees who seem to lack the customer service spirit which would honor Christian values. I had to return some items the other day & it seemed to be a huge bother to this cashier. I'm not sure if it was the return itself or the fact that I had made the purchase at a different Hobby Lobby location & was returning to this store butfor me, it was more convenient than returning to the other. I also realized part way through the process that I had forgotten a couple other items in the car & asked if I could run out to get them. She rudely told me she was almost finished & I would need to go through the line again. Luckily, there wasn't a line when I returned from getting the items from the car because I had waited in line almost 20 min the first time!! read more

lots of neat items to buy. i always spend a lot of time shopping because there is so much to see.

So much fun stuff here for arts and crafts! Some good deals as long as you use the right coupons. I can always find something for my daughters art projects, or if I need something to decorate around the house. read more

Rude lady at the counter to cut fabric. Not helpful at all. Very rude lady checking us out, Rebecca. She was very slow and seemed to hate every second of helping us. When we gave her a 40% off coupon she said "why use this everything is on sale?" I asked for her to just try it since I knew everything wasn't on sale. And just like that it worked. Not worth all the rudeness to ever come back. read more

Howard did a fabulous job helping me at the checkout. His boss Culleen (I think) she was equally as fabulous. And the store manager Ted went above and beyond to help me out with an order. I love how helpful everyone was who worked there. And wow the selection has really improved. They have some really great books in the front by the checkout. The sales are great and they play instrumental worship music which I adore. I heard a lady shopping and humming to one of the songs and it was just beautiful. I just love this store! read more

Would rate 0 stars if I could. Had an awful experience making a return as I did not receive an invoice in the shipment box, and they made a huge fuss about having to scan a barcode from an emailed invoice, that they "weren't normally supposed to do that, but since it scanned..." The lady would only give me store credit, and when asked why a refund wasn't possible, she said they "don't have internet access and don't have access to people's credit cards." The employee in question was unfriendly and had an attitude with me the entire time. If it were up to me, I would NEVER shop there again, but since I now have store credit to spend, I guess I have to. read more

most best store in town absolutely love the customer service and huge selection of arts and crafts! My wife's favorite and now mines

I understand people make mistakes, but seriously this is the third time in 2 months that I've checked my receipt and found I've been way overcharged and sale items weren't entered as sale items. That is 3/3 times. Three strikes you are out! They need to switch to a barcode system instead of manually typing things in! I'm absolutely furious having to make another trip to fix the cashiers errors. Take the time to do things right!!!! I'm a very busy person!! I'm not going to shop here anymore because it's not trustworthy. 2/3 times I had Faith as the cashier. Most recent visit with her as the cashier was Wednesday 7/28/21. How do I say this nicely...She has zero customer service skills. I tried making small talk and she doesn't respond. I had to ask my questions 3 or 4 times before she acknowledged me and gave one or two word responses. I know she's not deaf, she was chatting with coworkers and then I came up to check out and none of them (three total) greet me at all, I place my items on the counter and asked how are you today? She ignored me, I say "wow must've been a long day, I bet you're tired!" Again no response. So uncomfortable and awkward to stand there checking out with a person who ignores you point blank...girl needs serious customer service training. read more
