It's a nice fun place to look around with your family of all ages. They have everything from crafts to baking to home decor. Check out the toy aisle!

Hobby Lobby .. a crafter's paradise. We stopped by and it seem as though there were a bunch of sales. Some things are pricey but hey that's crafting. I did see some things I would find at the dollar tree at a cheaper price. With coupons, this place is great. I like walking the aisles and getting into the holiday spirit. It's clean, well organized and has good customer service.

This hobby lobby is organized. Everything is changing out for the fall season so get ready to find what you want. One thing I do not like, is that they do not have fabric or a lot of sewing stuff. All of the other locations that I have been to have some of the stuff.

90% off on Christmas items. Great items for a Great price. Wonderful staff and store.

Shopping carts down the aisles disabled people can't get the wheelchair or the walkers through their place is a mess!

I went into the Oxnard California store to get stuff for a holiday party! This store was in disarray. There were boxes ladder's trash garbage Rude employees! I am a senior and I use a walker and couldn't get down any of the aisles due to boxes ladders It is just a horrible place to shop I would not recommend this place to shop if you are in a wheelchair or Walker or your blind of any type of disability. The hobby lobby is in need of new management! How is one going to get around in this mess? Stocking should all be done at night not on a business day. It is an inconvenience to your shoppers. Maybe you guys should be open on a Sunday so you can catch up on your work load. I won't be shopping in this Oxnard hobby lobby store anymore it's very dangerous I'm blind and disabled.

This store totally caught me by surprise. I've heard from many friends how cool this store was, but it wasn't until today where I finally was able to have my own, Hobby Lobby experience! Without even actually walking into the store, I began to get excited and had a good feeling from simply what I saw in the window display, which were a few furniture pieces that were definitely my style. As soon as you walk in, the size and openness of the store is quite overwhelming because it's very light, open and spacious. The aisles are spread out pretty well and therefore it doesn't feel claustrophobic. Not only will you find cute furniture pieces like shelves and chairs but they also have a huge arts and crafts selection. Like scrap booking?! Well they sell a ton of supplies for that as well, located closer to the back of the store. I personally LOVE all the home decor! They sell cases, picture frames and decorative pillows. I would have to say, if HomeGoods and Michael's had a baby...Hobby Lobby would best describe it.

A lot of great options but there is really no customer service here . I had to walk around awhile to find what I was looking for .

Pretty good selection, especially if other hobby stores don't carry what you need. Reasonable in price as well.

Also, so nice that they are closed on Sundays to allow their employees a day of rest and worship.

After I moved they upscaled their location over to Ventura Blvd. off Las Posas in the big plaza there. They're in between HomeGoods and The Home Depot on the western end of the shopping area. Often when Dear Hubby and I go over to Ventura for the afternoon, I'll plan to stop at this Michael's on the way back home. It's a convenient location with lots of free parking. Over the years, they've stepped up the merchandising layout of the store. I can easily be enticed by the seasonal items they stock, as those seem to get cuter each year. The yarn department can be hit or miss still. Am hoping that they will get one of the newer yarn / fabric departments which are arising out of the purchase of Joann's labels for yarn, especially. Our Sweet Granddaughter influences me to stay interested in crafting, including jewelry making, which she loves. She wants me to teach her how to crochet, which I will gladly do when her hands get a little bigger. She's just turning 6, so it may be a bit too soon and lead to frustration instead of joy. We'll get there, though. Last time I stopped in, most of what I bought was to work on making friendship bracelets with SG. It's helpful to be signed up for Michael's rewards program, as that usually provides extra discounts when it's time to cash out. They run good sales throughout the seasons, so you can usually get a good price on whatever items you're seeking. In my creative shopping Joann's was #1 and Michael's #2. Now that Joann's is gone, Michael's moves into the #1 spot.

It's like the Japanese version for Five and Below. I also heard it is owned by Walmart. I read online that they have coffee pour overs and coffee filters for cheap. I found a ceramic mint green one that was $6 and the coffee filters were $2.25 for 90. I also picked up some chair feet covers to prevent scratching up my floors. I went a little crazy. I also bought a rice cooking mug that allows you to cook about 2/3 cup of uncooked rice and it comes out to about 2 cups cooked rice. I also bought a few odds and ends and some supplies I needed for my work tote for organization. They sell small cooking pans, some camping gear, travel items, small organization containers, laundry items for air drying laundry and mesh bags. They have some cute kitchenware and even nail kits and accessories. I did the self check out which they had a sign next to it saying bags were $0.15. I brought my own bag in. I will probably end up visiting Daiso a few times a year as there are so many cool things to help make life easier.
