I made a special one hour trip over to check out Hobby Lobby. It was everything I expected and more. This location was so much larger then the other one I had gone to in Ohio. They had such a large variety of almost everything you are looking for. What was even nicer that almost everything I looked at and end up purchasing was 50% off. What else can you ask for in a store? Great product and fantastic prices! There were many sales associates visible for help. The aisles were all very tidy and the store was pretty clean. I love shopping here and would highly recommend this store for that special item you need for your home or your art and crafts projects. read more

I'm not a huge fan of hobby lobby to begin with. Just don't think it's right to force religion onto others. But I had to visit this location in Manchester yesterday, and while I got what I needed, I was very much put off by the checkout process. There were 4 people in line, one register open, and 2 emoyees just shooting the breeze with each other right next to the checkout. While we all patiently waited, I could not believe these 2 were ignoring the situation. As a retired Retail manager (54 years), I'd never allow this in my store. read more

I stop here often to get some t shirts to make examples for my clothing brand. Super clean store and well set up with lots of stock! Their selection is pretty great! They could maybe do with more craft supplies there and of a better quality when it comes to painting supplies and maybe less of the impulse-buy kitsch. The staff are all pleasant and professional when I go there. read more

I previously heard about hobby lobby through a friend who loves the shop. I had checked them out on a trip to Ohio and I was thrilled when I found out that there's a location within 1 hour of my home. I recently moved to a new apartment with lots of empty wall space so I was in need of some wall decoration. Yesterday we made the one hour drive to New Hampshire to check out hobby lobby. The Manchester store is huge and definitely larger than the one we visited in Columbus. It's also cleaner looking and better lit. There's a lot of stuff and it's kind of overwhelming to decide where to start. I was able to find the wall decals and posters right away. It took me forever to decide which ones I like best. They had lots of designs, animals. posters with encouraging words, and my favorite design, owls. Just as I had made my choice I came upon another poster section and then it took me another half an hour to debate on what to get. All of the posters are always 50% off according to a sign. When we went to check out the cashier informed us that everything we had picked up was on sale. I was happy that all of my posters were 50 percent off. I ended to buying 5 posters and a clock for $78. The cashier also let us know that there's no sales tax in new hamsphire so that was a great saving. Hobby lobby is such a fun shop and I would highly recommend it if you're looking to decorate your home or shopping for party supplies. Believe me, it's way more fun than boring michaels or ikea. My only complaint is the store is closed on Sunday's. What's up with that?? read more

They do have some very unique crafting items but they don't accept Competitor coupons and I don't think I've ever waited less than 10 minutes to check out because they don't have barcodes that scan....they have to manually type in the price of everything. I can't believe this place!.... Not your usual Craft store.This place had the largest selection of Christmas decorations I've seen anywhere! They not only have your usual craft items, they have small furniture items, decorative glassware, fabric, decorator fabric, a huge selection of frames and pictures, and really nice quality silk flowers, to say the least. When I went it was early in the season and all the Christmas items were 50% off. They also have weekly coupons on Geoqpons for anyone with a Droid phone. THIS IS MY NE W FAVORITE STORE EVER! It's a craft store, fabric store and Home Goods all under one roof, and the size of a Wal-Mart. The first time I went in here, I was looking for one small thing that I couldn't find at Michael's....meanwhile 2 hours later....yes I found what I needed as well as a ton of other stuff I didn't need but was just plain awesome. I will say I love this place... I come here for fair quality with a good price yarns... This place is, AC Moores, Micheal's, JoAnn's and Home Good's wrapped nearly into one store... if you can't find what you need for crafting or decorating in here, you don't need it... Great selection on beading, various decorating themes, yarn etc... I will say though that the fabric selection is not a grand as JoAnn's, but they do carry different patterns and fabrics then JoAnn's. As for the yarns I by. I do like their brand of yard (Just love this Yarn) over Red Heart. Great cheap yarn. It knits well. I am smart about coming here.... bring their on-line coupon with you, it makes a difference. This place is a box store.. you are not going to find the fancy high end fibers here. The yarn here is standard "ball" and I have noticed I can get an adult hat and half a scarf out of one ball. Great store, great selection... just remember this is still a BOX STORE... Staff, I have rarely interacted with... Parking is ample Hours are decent They do have good sales from time to time. Stopped by a couple of weeks ago to have son's painting framed. It was ready today as scheduled. They honored the raincheck and did a nice job on the frame. I walked around the store just browsing and found many-many decors to choose from in terms of different picture genres. The floor staff appear very busy and do not ask if customers need assistance. They were nice but seemed focused only on their area of assignment. I checked out and another cashier who became available motioned for folks to come over. She was friendly and bagged the frame appropriately. It would have been nice to hear someone thank us for doing business with them but no one in the entire location did. The store is very clean and employees look happy. The overall rating is a solid four out of five stars! read more

This is a crafy housewife store like Michaels and Ben Franklins. The loud children, and women wearing perfume for marinade will drive you insane. Serious painters, dont bother. Its warehouse style, and you will NOT get any expert assistance. Make your list and wait until you go to MFA and hit the store in Cambridge while you are down there. Supplies for serious painters is woeful in NH since the demise of Tech Prod in Ports. read more

Now that I've learned that my dollars will be going to support a company that denies its female employees birth control, I'm not going to shop here again. Please. I went to hobby lobby jan 1 2020 around noon time I saw an item I liked and a sign posted 80% off I thought it could he in correct so I asked someone who then got a co manager named Stephen I believe who treated me like I was stupid he pulled the sign out condescendingly stared at me as he got rid of the sign and basically told me to bad I asked because I was not sure but after being treated so poorly by management I am furious its not about the sale as much as lack of customer service I love the store but I won't be going back because I was made to feel stupid and I was very embarrassed by the treatment! read more

OK, so they don't have tons of coupons, but, what they do have is crafting merchandise that you won't find at the other Big Box crafting stores. And, the prices are competitive. On top of which, they're a home decor and card store! They value family/church time so it's fine with me that they're not open on Sundays. Six days a week to shop is more than enough for me. This is the email I sent to their customer service - I wanted to let you know about an experience my daughter had in your Manchester NH store today. Little background, she not only has a degree in Art, but she is also a very successful tattoo artist. She went into the store for some supplies like she does often. This trip was probably her last. During her check out she was insulted and embarrassed to be accused of counterfeiting. She was not able to use any of her $100 bills (which she tried 2 different ones). She finally used 3 of her $50 bills. They used the marker on the $100's and they showed as good, but they still would not accept them. As she was walking out, the store manager didn't know she was walking behind her and the manager made a comment to another employee to "Keep an eye on that one". This is COMPLETELY unacceptable. You should teach your employees to not judge on looks. I'm glad my children are better to people then how your employees treated my daughter. read more

The worst frightening experience ever. Stay away from HOBBY LOBBY, Manchester NH. This day the store was filled with associates busy stocking shelves. The associates and most shoppers have the same upper class, white, well dressed "Christian" look. Enter two young females who look different: An Asian girl and a tall girl dressed in Goth style. They were followed around the store and watched closely. Every move, every item that was considered for purchase was noticed. Talk about creepy, uncomfortable, judgmental. The associates were obviously talking to each other. One heavy lady with short blond hair and another heavy lady with longer brown hair kept walking by them. Finally the two girls were confronted by Brian, store manager, and angrily informed that they were not welcome and ordered to leave. Way to profile different looking individuals who did nothing wrong! This store is Christian in name only- they are full of themselves, nasty, proud hypocrites. They should be ashamed of themselves. I go to this store almost once a month. This is my favorite store! Just skip michaels and AC Moore all together. Lots of shabby chic stuff here. I will say the staff is not very helpful most of the time they don't know what's on sale and where anything is. Terrible customer service experience every time I go. The staff is very rude and managers are not much different. One particular night, we had stopped by one night 20 minutes before closing to grab some last minute things for my upcoming wedding. Immediately we were greeted by a cashier who advised we need to be "quick" because they are closing soon. We grabbed the things we needed in less than ten minutes and stopped on an end cap to check out something. The same cashier came up to us and told us to bring our purchases to the front now and I told her we would be up there in one moment. She let out a huge sigh and said they are closing in less than ten minutes and she needs to count her money and close her register. I'm a paying customer with items in my hand to buy so being pushy and following us around the store when I am very respectful of the time. This is not the first time I have experienced very poor treatment and I will never shop here again. read more

Horrible customer service. I went to check out, showed Courtney my coupon on my phone, and she just looked at my items. After a long pause, she mumbled, 'I'll take it at the end'. There was no hello, did you find everything ok? Nothing. It was her sheer lack of enthusiasm that made me want to run out of the doors. After I swiped my card and paid, she left two of my items on the counter without bagging them, and just stared into space. She was making it clear her job was done. Once I got to my car, I realized that I had forgotten to claim my coupon. I went back inside to the return counter and asked Kathi if I could use my coupon, that I was just in the store, to which she replied 'you should have used it earlier'. When I looked up and said, 'excuse me??', she just ignored me. I am completely dumbfounded. Is New Hampshire that hard up for workers that you're willing to hire rude staff? I went there this past Saturday and picked out some things which I liked. When I went to pay for them (with cash money) the cashier yelled out to her manager that she needed a counterfeit bill check. I was so embarrassed that the crowd at the checkout lines think I am trying to pass a counterfeit bill. When I said something the cashier Nicole was very rude to me and then the manager Nicole was even ruder. I asked to see someone else in charge so a manager named Bob came and spoke to me that they have a policy of checking all bills and the $50 looked suspicious. It was a brand new bill with the updated design. He suggested that I pay with a credit cards if I come back in again. Well guess what ? I will never shop in there again. read more
