And to our surprise, they were open!! This is a really cute boutique with different clothing, accessories and fun gifts to browse through. I even found myself a cute travel bag!! They asked my friend what she had in her pocket (it was her lipgloss), implying that we were shoplifting. They did not treat the other customers this way (we are not white). They said we were "enamored" with the bracelets and told us we should have them hold it for us. Can we not shop in peace? The only kind person was a teenager doing our forever bracelets. And, as we were leaving, Jen the manager asked if we paid, even though we were clearly at the register.

We purchased a sweater that was marked down and on the tag it has sweater VNK PNL hole. I should have realized that meant PIn hole, but did not. The employee did not alert us at the time of purchase. I took the sweater back and gave them a heads up that I would be purchasing something else of much greater value, but they only offered to have it fixed. I understand that was a fairly reasonable offer, but this was a present for someone to be given tomorrow. The manager seems short sighted given the option to make a sale of three times the value, they would rather upset me for $50 and the conviction not to return.
