Although, only competitive pricing I see is in NYC :) The quilts they have displayed are beautiful, and most available via kits. I believe this shop is part of a quilt hop ... I never been but I remember when I visited this shop, a quilt hop was happening that coming weekend. I haven't been here for a while. I might have to soon for some gifting projects!

I have bought fabric here as well as quilting supplies and a quilting machine with frame. Excellent customer service. The only drawback is the lack of my favorite fabrics but hey, they can't carry *everything*! Most of their fabrics are batiks, 1930s reproductions, modern prints. They also have sewing machines for sale, and do cleaning and servicing on existing machines regardless of brand. They did a wonderful job with my Elna when it developed a problem! It's a small shop and seems like they would want to create a better image for new customers. Like, we value and appreciate you coming in. Instead they come off as snobby. All I can say is, I gave it a few tries and I love their fabric, but won't be going back.

The other day I made a booboo while checking out and they were calm and pleasant when they had to re-ring up my whole stack of quarter yards - no eye rolling, just a deep breath and a wide smile. I was "having a day" and they couldn't have been more helpful. My latest find is their skeins of Queensland cotton worsted - the colors make my potholders sing and it has a great hand feel.
