Very nice shop and staff. Beautiful examples through out shop. Large class room. Full of books patterns and fabrics. Not cluttered.

Store is tucked in the backside of the plaza next to the optical place. Beautiful fabrics and nice selection. I was thrilled that they carry amy butler fabrics as well as michael miller; a couple of my faves!!! No real competitive pricing, but definitely has the selection. Although, only competitive pricing I see is in NYC :) The quilts they have displayed are beautiful, and most available via kits. I believe this shop is part of a quilt hop ... I never been but I remember when I visited this shop, a quilt hop was happening that coming weekend. I haven't been here for a while. I might have to soon for some gifting projects! read more

Went in there yesterday for the first time, as I just moved into the area. The shop is amazing, everything is well organized, and the staff was amazingly helpful. As is the way with shopping in a quilt shop, I walked in needing one thing and walked out with over $50 in great merch. I can't wait to take a class there!! read more

Love this shop! Prices are on a par with other quilt shops, great variety and fabric selection, as well as books & notions. They are always willing to try to order something if they don't have what you're looking for, and they're always willing to help. They recently held a "quilter's yard sale" where you could rent a table to sell your excess stash (or shop others' excess stash!) One of the most generous things they've done recently was to open their air-conditioned workshop rooms at no cost during a recent heat wave. read more

This place is amazing! So much eye candy for inspiration. The owner is very knowledgeable and sweet. You can find everything from wool appliqué designs to baby quilt material. Talk about one stop shopping! I love this quilt shop!!!! read more

I went to many workshops at Pinetree Quilt Shop. I have spent hundreds of dollars there, but I will not go back due to the insensitivity of the owner. I had signed up for a workshop but my father had to be taken to the hospital, he was in critical condition and we were told he was going to die (which he did). I called the shop on Monday to tell them that I would not be there for the following Saturday workshop and the reason why. Needless to say, Dina, the owner charged me the fee anyway. It is a beautiful shop with lovely fabrics but none of my money is going there anymore. read more

Today was my second visit to this shop. I was introduced to the store by one of my clients last October as I was interested in making rag quilts for my 2 six year old granddaughters. They have a wonderful selection of fabrics and I made 2 beautiful rag quilts for Christmas presents. I spent approximately $200 for the fabric. My oldest granddaughter loved them so I decided to make one for her, which was the purpose of today's visit. I received an email with a 10% coupon for a discount on any one item purchased today. The coupon was suppose to be printed and given to cashier at time of purchase. I tried printing it but could not print the coupon - there was a problem with my printer or computer, which was frustrating, but I figured I could tell them my situation and show them the coupon in my email and they would honor it. Wrong! She (Dina, the owner) told me that in order for me to get the discount I had to turn in the coupon printed on paper. "It wasn't her problem that my printer didn't work". I questioned her reasoning which made no sense at all - I wasn't lying - showed her my email but she wanted the piece of paper. (So much for saving the trees) Then she was defending herself saying she is a small business owner etc etc etc.... Well I told her I am also a small business owner and I treat my clients/customers with kid gloves because I want to keep their business and I care about them. Obviously satisfied customers are not her priority. She did ultimately honor it but only after my questioning her reasoning - by then it was too late - she had already lost me. I was shocked, disgusted and livid at the way I was treated by her and I will never visit her store again. And, by the way we're talking about $1.80 - Dina, was it really worth losing a customer over $1.80? Think of how positive this situation could have turned out if you responded by saying " I would like the coupon printed but I understand the situation and ill let it go this time"? I would have left as a satisfied customer and would be back for my next project. What a shame! read more
