I went here on this past Mother's Day with my husband because he bought me my very first pandora bracelet. The older woman who helped us was beyond helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. You can tell she's been doing this for quite some time now. She helped me find the right size bracelet, and showed me the Mother's Day collection and told me which one she liked. I loved it too!! So that's the one I went with. I wish I had gotten her name but she made it extremely easy as a first timer to pick out exactly what I wanted. Adding charms to it is now my favorite thing! read more

Dawn is just a very rude lady. PERIOD. She refused to look for something while we were on the phone and actually hung up on us. We give this place a ton of business and now that has changed. I came here today May 24,2020 @ 4:35 pm Upon entertaining the store I was abruptly greeted with what can I do for you boys as we close in 25 mins, I replied just looking. There was who I assume was the manager older white lady in her 50's and an Asian woman same age frame. As another customer left the mgr instructed her to lock the doors it's now 20 mins to close This overall was a total turnoff as a customer It's now 4:50 as I write this review and I have left, I did express my feelings to the Asian employee and I could tell she didn't know how to respond and said I will tell the Mgr..... Hallmark stores are not a growing brand but struggling to survive, this is not how I think you would like for your customers to be treated!! the woman checking us out licked her finger to separate the bag she was putting our items in (EW!?!?), was coughing through the store and while not wearing a mask OR COVERING HER MOUTH (i understand mask mandates have changed but not covering her mouth is unacceptable), and literally coughed right into the bag when she handed it to us (again, EW!?). it was so gross, i pretty much had a panic attack when i got out to the car. we're still very much in a pandemic and that behavior is literally disgusting. this store has a lot of cool items and a lot larger stock than normal hallmark stores but there's no way i'm stepping foot back in this place anytime soon, even if it's just for my own peace of mind. the woman ringing us up was older with very short dark red hair, i'd stay away from her if you're paranoid of things like this like i am. literally grossed out all over again just typing this. i really cant get over her doing all of that, it was so unsettling. read more

This place is the largest hallmark store I have ever been in. Cards they have em. Candles they have em . Collectibles they have em. Clothing yup they have that too. Not to mention ornaments and candy. I was really surprised at the selection here . read more

Came in here for the first time for a gift, as I usually frequented the Plaistow Ashley's hallmark but am no longer shopping due to experiences of very bad customer service. I will say the Annie's Baldoria is much nicer than many area hallmark stores. However manager named Donna is extremely unpleasant and additionally appears very unprofessional for a store manager. Very uncomfortable experience of her treating young female employees like trash while clarifying questions I had. She should give herself a lesson in how to work retail-maybe brush your hair in the morning and put on some nice clothes! She was messy and rude, not a good face of a nice expensive store. Won't be back due to her treatment of associates and lack of professionalism. read more

If you want a card, this is the best place in the area - worth a trip! If you want a gift, they have many interesting things, including a large selection of Vera Bradley. The one disappointment is their truffles. They have a large case and although they look good, they are clearly not high quality chocolate. For great chocolate, go up the road a mile to the Chocolate Moose (silly name, serious chocolate). read more

Jennifer was so helpful during the invitation ordering process, and made sure everything was worded and looked exactly how we wanted it. I do not usually write bad reviews but after a recent experience at Annie's I felt compelled to share my story. Having grown up in Salem and still residing in the area I have shopped at Annie's since they opened and I believe in supporting local businesses. I received a promotional discount by mail from them with a nice holiday card. Being a collector of Simon Pearce glass I went into the store to see if they had the specific stemware that I use. They did not, however, the manager Joanna told me that they can special order any piece and would honor the discount for this sale. I was given a blue store card to take home and note all of the Simon Pearce glassware that I was interested in and would return to place my order with more specifics. When I returned on December 22nd (my coupon expired on the 24th,) I was told by Donna another store manager that they would not honor the discount after she spoke to the store owner. Needless to say I was very disappointed. To add insult to injury I have recently learned that 2 family members ordered pieces as Christmas gifts for me and they honored the discount for them. It is obvious that some employee training is in order for better communication with customers. Inconsistent policies and procedures is not good practice in any business, nor is providing misleading information and unkept commitments. I will no longer shop at Annie's and will suggest the same to my friends and family. read more

I could spend HOURS looking at all of the interesting and unique items at this store. I usually go in "just to browse" or so I tell myself...and always find that perfect something for a girlfriend, or one of my sisters, and inevitably a little something for me too! It is very important to me that my gift really conveys how special that person is to me. The staff is very helpful and get a load of this - they wrap for FREE! I leave with the perfect gift and it looks awesome...definitely my "go to" place. read more

I was thrilled to discover Annie's Hallmark over twenty years ago. It is (and has been for twenty-four years) my "go to" store for all of my greeting card and unique gift needs. I have a bridal shower to attend this weekend and went to Annie's three weeks ago for a shower gift and knew I could count on Annie's for the perfect gift. I decided to order stemless glassware and to have them engraved. Lisa Sylvester helped me with my order and said the ordering time frame is three weeks. Since this brought me right to the shower date I was a bit concerned. When Lisa called me to say they had arrived (a week early) I was thrilled. They look awesome. I was able to buy the gift card and had the gift wrapped for free--one stop shopping. Perfect! Thanks to Lisa (you were awesome) and Annie's for making gift giving so easy! read more

When I visited this store I had a very polite young lady nice enough to assist me in finding a gift but when we came to the checkout the girl had a simple question on how to ring out my choices, the STORE MANAGER "Donna" very rudely yelled at the girl was extremely unprofessional, rude, and degrading to the young girl whom helped me out, and also even made me feel uncomfortable. Nice store but the management needs a reality check on how to treat there hard working employees..... read more
