I've been to this location a few times now, and I can confidently give 5 stars to this store. It's clean and well stocked. The employees are so very helpful and kind. The prices are great. They almost always have an amazing sale going on. My biggest problem is how much can fit in my cart! They have toys, they have things for sewing. They have things for painting. They have needle craft. They have decor. They have just about everything that you would want for a craft. Right now they have all their Christmas stuff on 50% off! I got myself an amazing Grinch costume for Halloween. I also found a wonderful toy for my granddaughter for Christmas and I got some beautiful wicker boxes to organize and enhance my office. I could absolutely get lost looking at all of the home decor here and always can find something adorable. Fabric section has a good variety, but the quality is subpar for quilting fabric compare to our local quilt shop. Still, superior selection on garment fabrics and the staff is always helpful and friendly. The downside is that there is ALWAYS a line at checkout. Mid-afternoon, just after opening, just before closing... whether they have one register open or all of them, checking out is always a process. read more

I just went into HL tonight 8/8, Friday night. I had bought six iron ons and 6 t-shirts to go with previously, and one of the iron ons did not work. It ruined the t-shirt because it wouldn't lift like all the other ones. Definitely not my fault. I did them all the same. So, this being a craft store, one that I spend so much money in, they right away said they would not return the iron on and t-shirt because they can't resell it. Together they totaled approximately $14. Not a big deal but they were not even nice about it. They didn't say sorry or wow, we wish we could help you. Nothing. The manager and saleswoman made me feel bad enough over something so simple I will be driving to Cedar Park next time. Again, not a big deal, but sometimes kindness or being nice to a customer goes a long way. read more

Stopped in here to see if they had any good Christmas decorations on sale and we were not disappointed. I was able to find these cool candy resin decorations that I've never seen anywhere but at Hobby Lobby. I even found the green deer partner to the pink one I'd found months back. 50% off is always nice so I snagged a bunch of stuff that I can use year around. Parking was easy and was next to a Spirit Halloween next door as well. read more

Hobby lobby is awesome just don't recommend georgetown always slow and there is no sense not having all registers being able to do a return or least have an extra register open or something. At least Heb knows how to do returns at every register. read more

I have always enjoyed shopping and browsing at Hobby Lobby in all the states I have lived.

I came here looking for some potential birthday gifts for a friends, and before heading in didnt have any specific Ideas in mind. Immediately when I got in I was met with so many potential gifts for my creative friends. The store was very clean and the cashiers were very friendly. They have an amazing selection of boxes and jars that seem good quality and uniquely shaped, I also found a very impressive selection of candles. Usually candles are sweet or nuetral scented but there were some fragrances I'd never seen candles come in before like "thyme and olive oil". The only thing I might want to be different is the amount of religion-related items in every part of the store. I understand that they want to represent themselves a store who is proud of their beliefs and wants to offer those who seek out that sort of decor with plenty of options but I found it a little extreme. Overall, I would shop here again and if youre looking for a store that offers quality, aesthetically pleasing, and unique decor, or craft materials, or customizable picture frames, I'm sure you would have a nice experience here. read more

Well, it rang up at regular price and I told the cashier, Lauren S. it was on sale and she said no it's not. Read me the ad and I said that was not the item In question. Well, the cashier , Lauren S. was RUDE and would not even check the sale item, so I said to cancel my transaction because of her shitty attitude!!! Pretty much like all of the other ones that I have been too. I love this store. They have a better selection than Michael's and a wonderful selection of seasonal decorations. I have to try not to buy a million things each time I go lol. I love the fact the fact that they carry religious items as well, because those are often hard to find. It is well known that the owner is Religious and kind of "old school" so it should come as no surprise that they don't carry certain items. Much like any other establishment, I feel like if you have a problem with what a company does, sells, or stands for overall then you probably just shouldn't be a patron there. The bottom line is the staff is friendly, the store is clean, and they have a large selection of craft items, frames, season decorations and home decor items. read more

Meh, pretty much describes it. I'll go, on occasion, but rarely am I impressed. Selection on art supplies is ok, but quantity is severely lacking. For example, went once looking a specific item, and yes they had it.... but only 2. No substituents or similar products, just the 2. Many products are very cheaply made. MOST are from China, but priced as if they were made in the US. Never understood the need to have all the home decor and furniture items. They are way over priced and as mentioned before, cheaply made. You can find similar home decor items at Kirklands, Marshalls, TJ Maxx, and Kohls for much much less. They are also always understaffed. Usually only one cashier at the registers. read more

Hobby Lobby has just about anything you would need for arts & crafts. It can be a little difficult to navigate the huge store to find what you are looking for - and staff is always in short supply - but they do have a wide selection of ready made crafts for decor. I like how they display finished projects at the beginning and end of the components aisles for each craft. Prices are higher than some other craft stores, but they have more finished crafts to purchase. read more

I love Hobby lobby! Just not this one! Very understaffed and it's just not a pleasant experience. At Christmas time I had a very unpleasant experience. Several shelves fell at my feet and crashed. Although it was very loud no one from the store came to see if I was OK. I had to hunt the manager down just to get it cleaned up! No apologies. On the contrary I felt like he acted as if I disturbed him and that I was just trying to get away with not paying for something I broke. I will go back if I need something but only because it's so close to my house however I prefer to go to any other hobby lobby over this one! read more

Purchased a couple of bolts of fabric and tried to use a 40% off coupon from RetailMeNot and was told rudely that I couldn't use the coupon. I explained I was allowed to use the coupon at the Hobby Lobby in Round Rock Tx and was rudely told "well we don't". I searched my phone for a Hobby Lobby coupon while the attendant (who I think is the manager) rolled her eyes. I couldn't find one quickly and there were probably six people waiting in line behind me (because they never have enough cashiers) so paid and left. When I got to my car, I went to Hobbylobby.com on my phone and right on the home page is a 40%off coupon!. Why the manager couldn't have told me that is beyond me. Or even better offer me one of the coupons that were in her drawer!. In an emarketing climate you would think brick and mortar stores would do more to entice foot traffic. Next time, I'll just order from Amazon or the website, maybe the manager doesnt realize if she makes enough of us mad, she is out of a job! read more

The management must be bad as employees are miserable! The selection is awesome and I visit regularly..and purchase regularly. That may change quickly as the staff acts as if you are an inconvenience, unlike most stores in Georgetown whereas they appreciate your business and certainly show it. I tolerated it for the most part but know it's getting downright obnoxious and frustrating..being scared to ask a question to staff as they blow you off?! Strange that they don;t get the concept that we, the customers, keep them employed. They better get back on track fast or they'll just be another stat. read more

I've lived in Georgetown for about 6 years, and I shop at Hobby Lobby often, since I make jewelry. I never have good experiences in this Hobby Lobby, it's not that they are out of products, it's the lack of customer service and lack of communication. Today did it for me. I walked in and two employees were standing at the registers, they were chatting away, and didn't even look at me or say anything to me. Ok, whatever. I went to the jewelry department and was there a good hour and there was another employee in that aisle, for about the same amount of time, marking down items. She never said anything...and I heard a customer ask her where a product was and her response was "uuhh, I don't know". So I go to check out and Rebecca C, doesn't ever say a word to me...I've checked out with her before, I ask to do two separate transactions, she doesn't say anything. She rings up my items, all of them clearance except one (going to use my coupon for that). "you can't use that coupon, they are all clearance." Me "um, no that one was not clearance." she adjusts it. Rings up my other purchase, "you can't use the coupon again, it's one time per customer, per day." Me, "um, ok, cool." She was short with me and I'm disgusted in the treatment I got there. It's not about the coupon, it's about the tone in her voice and her ugliness. read more

This store shows that shopping can be quite, relaxing and fun. The staff all of whom have helped me have been only pleasant and knowledgable in what the store has to offer. the music that is played has a Christian sound and is so much easier on the mind.
