Best customer service! We visited Hobby Lobby Conroe to purchase some custom mats to frame artwork. Tracy in the Frame Department was busy, but immediately offered assistance. She was friendly, professional and helpful. She listened to our concerns and offered some solutions and her opinions, which were greatly appreciated. She communicated very well and explained the types of mats and gave us pricing. Tracy was working alone and was busy, yet she never rushed us through making our choices. She also helped other customers while we were looking at different mats. This particular location has the best and most helpful employees. I live closer to another Hobby Lobby, but drive further to go to Conroe. Thanks to all the staff over the years who have provided an exceptional shopping experience on every visit. read more

My first time to Hobby Lobby. I hope they're not all like this. The staff seemed bothered by even the smallest question about the location of an item. They clumped and spoke to each other but acted like I was a problem if I nicely asked where something was.. The bathroom was in bad condition. When you're going to be in a store that big, for that long you need nice clean bathrooms. There was a lot to choose from but only a few modern or contemporary decorations. I thought the sales prices were pretty good. Full price would be a bit much for these items. My cashier was nice. Update to review... I went back on Saturday and the girl working the floral department was amazing, helpful and very knowledgeable. A totally different experience. read more

Went to purchase an item that was not labeled so I asked assistance in getting a price. They came up with a price then I said but it's 50% off right? No it's not well you're in cap says it was I don't know what endcap you're talking about says the little gal in the store. I said well here since you're not listening to me try to explain it I'll take you back there and show you. We went back there and she says oh this shelf says Storage I said yeah but your signs right next to the shelving with the hooks and that's what I was trying to purchase, oh well she says it's not on sale. I've been shopping at Hobby Libby's for years and this one by far has the rudest staff. Idk if the supervisors are making y'all listen to Justin Bieber in the back or if you pastor is just telling y'all to hate anyone that doesn't seem obsessed with Jeebus but dear lord. Just checked out with Justin who couldn't be bothered to be polite to me but was overly polite to the couple behind me. I get it Justin. I get your judgement. Love the items available. The staff can be nice. Make sure to talk to male staff. The women act like they can't be bothered. I answered a woman's question when she asked a female staff member a question. A lot of the people that visit this store don't social distance and either do not wear masks or don't wear them correctly (like cover their nose). Hobby Lobby is supposed to be a Christian store. But I was told by a customer "kiss my ass" when I asked her to cover her nose or just don't bother to wear a mask. The items I had picked out were not worth my health when I saw more customers not being safe. I left this store and spent my money at At Home in The Woodlands. read more

They are China's biggest supporter. I don't but from China because their products have glues and does that are carcinogenic. They don't care if their Chinese people get cancer. I wasn't able to find one thing from USA or other country. I like it that they're Christian but this confuses me since the CCP is so evil. Customer service is good however. Good people. read more

This store is always fun to shop. They have alot more than just arts and crafts stuff, there is alot of great toys and also some great stuff to fix up a man cave ha. I just did some early Christmas shopping for my grandsons and found some great cars, trucks, remote control planes and stocking stuffers too. Hats off to the manager! read more

I am a hobbyist. Meaning: a person who enjoys doing hobbies. Anyway this is a nice place to get all your creative ideas to real life. I've been here before and will be again. Although it's way out of my geographic location I like to drop by once in a while because it's just hobby lobby. Who wouldn't? This is like grocery shopping for me. I can't just buy the things I want. I always leave with extra stuff in my basket. Not impulse though because I later use them. read more

Hobby Lobby is usually a very good place to shop. I go there mainly for their discounts on picture frames. However, I have to agree with another reviewer about the customer service up front. The manager seems to promote this type of behaviour. Several times I have seen groups of employees having a bull session with one cashier and 10 people in line. Most of them are rude women around 25 years old. Too bad there isn't another one closer to me; I would go there. I have gone to Michaels several times due to the customer service. read more

Talk about the worst staff of employees ever. They were ALL not helpful at all. I don't spend a lot of time in Hobby Lobby, but I needed to go in there for supplies for my craft programs. I don't have any idea where anything is, so I spent at least 30 minutes trying to find someone to help me. Three trip around the store later, I spot a woman with a lot of keys on her belt, putting things away. I assumed she was the manager even though there was no significant marker that she even worked at the the store at all. I walk up, "Ma'am could I get some help please?" She stared at me for what felt like forever, so I'm second guessing myself that I must have mistaken her for someone who worked there... So I say, "Oh, I'm sorry, I assumed you worked here." She FINALLY replies with, "Yea, what ya need." in the most disrespectful tone ever. I just said, "Never mind, sorry for bothering you..." You know, I understand as a manager of a retail store you automatically become better than the rest of your employees and no longer have to wear tacky vests and what not, but a name tag would've been great in this situation. JUST SAYING. I needed the things I had in my basket so I bought them, but if I didn't need them I would've left my basket right where I was standing and left. As I was leaving the lines in the store were super backed up and there were two cashiers with one worker standing to the side distracting one cashier, talking to her, when she could've been helping other people. Beautiful store love it!!! This one man who worked there helped an older heavy set lady with a bench to sit on while she waited. Then a supervisor by the name of jamielynn had the nerve to get on him about it in front of customers and the lady that he helped. Yes the lady was heavier and maybe a bench wasn't the best idea but the thought was amazing. Jamielynn was a complete bitch in my eyes. Shame on her!!!!! I will not be returning to that store if she is in there. Don't want to spend money at a place that pays her paycheck. read more

The store in Conroe Tx seriously needs to rethink the people they put in charge. A discount sign was posted on some flowers. When we got to the register the clerk told us there was nothing on sale in the items we were wanting to purchase. She called over a person in charge, an older Hispanic lady, the clerk called her an M? something. I don't know her title and I didn't get her name. When she walked up, she was very rude without even listening to what I had to say. I talked over her and she finally said "Show me!" I ask my daughter to walk over because I am disabled. She then called my daughter a liar and walked away. I have always loved this store, but this treatment is unacceptable. We ended up leaving all our items laying on the counter and left. Over $300 worth! Michaels treated us nicely and let us have the discounts as posted in their store. As a company that represents itself as "Christian" , is this really how you want your customers treated? Is this what you think "Christian" is? I prefer this store for a lot of things and intended to go back the next week for more items I saw and liked. But not if this is the treatment I'm going to get.
