I guess the nerves are extra sensitive & I believe I was getting a ROOT CANAL!:-(.... What really upset me was the unprofessional Dentist & staff!!! I'm in tears & maybe getting a bit loud expressing how painful the experience was at the moment! I'm an Introvert so I'm also embarrassed & my ANXIETY was off the charts!!! Well I'm improvising my exact words but I mentioned how STRESSED I was & then he replied " Aren't we All" & rolled his eyes!!!! No compassion or concern for my obvious pain!!! I nor any of my family never went back to LONGHORN ( RACIST VIBE) DENTAL ever again!!!!!!

Tried to continue care under the new management but I guarantee you I will NEVERRRRR be back. Received a filling in Oct under the care of the new physician and have had nothing but problems being able to chew on that side since, and to make matter worse while chewing yesterday the fill popped out and now I have a hole in my tooth. I've had filling placed before that I have never had any issues with after years and years of having them and now only 6 months later with the new physician I'm walking around with a hole in my tooth and sensitivity to the area that makes it difficult to eat on that side of my mouth. Upset and disappointed don't even begin to explain how I'm feeling.

First of all, let me say, I went to 8449 Gulf Fwy Ste C,…read moreHouston, TX 77017 in 2024 and agreed to get work done. The dentist assured me that due to my anxiety she would give me gas to relax me, well she must have not been expecting me to agree to services on that day because she started the work without the gas. She gave me a shot to numb my mouth, and it didn't take. I COULD FEEL EVERYTHING !!!!!! so I'm moaning in pain with my mouth opened, gesturing for her to STOP and she goes on I'm sorry, but I only have a little bit more to go, and I promise if I give you another shot it will hurt more than the drill. I was alone on the visit, so I had no support. I said what happened to the gas, and the assistant says, "OH IT'S TOO LATE FOR THAT! .... THAT TAKES ABOUT 30 minutes for before it works" and the dentist continued. After that visit my head and face hurt for about 2 -3 weeks, so I didn't want to return there for the additional work that I needed done. Because I felt like it was INTENTIONAL. So, every time they called me for my upcoming appointment I would reschedule. Until I started feeling pains and sensitivity to cold and hot, so come June 2025 I was called, and I accepted the appointment but asked if I could get another doctor and was told NO. I go in for the exam and talked about my hot/cold sensitive feelings and she goes ..."OH, I CAN FIX THAT AND I WON'T CHARGE YOU FOR IT " (why because it was due to the SHOTTY WORK FROM THE LAST TIME) then she tells me what i needed done and i asked how much ... the front desk person tells me she will call me with that report ... i never get the call so i called them and she say 1020.00, I NEVER GOT THAT WORK DONE BUT SHE PUT IT IN THE SYSTEM AS IF I HAD, SO NOW A COLLECTION AGENCY IS CONSTANTLY CALLING ME FOR PAYMENTS FOR WORK NOT DONE. I EXPLAINED THAT TO THEM AND THEY KEPT OVER TELLING ME AND ASKING THE SAME THINGS. SO, I CALLED THE OFFICE AND WAS AGIN ASSURED IT WOULD BE CORRECTED...HOWEVER HEAR WE ARE IN AUGUST 2025 AND I'M STILL GETTING THEM CALLS. AND WHEN I DECIDED TO TELL HER WHY I KEPT RESCEDULING ALLL MY PREVIOUS APPOINTMENTS SHE GONE SIGH OUT LOUD AS IF I'M ANNOYING HER?????????????? In closing I just want to say black people do feel pains we are not SUPERHUMANS even though we with stand so much WE NEED THE SAME AMOUNT OF PAIN RELIEF AS ANYBODY ELSE (there was plenty more numbing meds in that vile that was allotted to me that she just chose not to give me.)

If I could give 0 stars I WOULD !!!! Most Disgusting office I have ever went to. From the missing…read morecabinets, rust on the floor and dirty dental supplies I just couldn't believe it. They attempted to put a dirty apron on me for X-rays, you can tell it hasn't been cleaned in FOREVER! Lets start from the beginning. My appointment was at 4:30pm , I just moved to texas and was looking for a dentist for my 6 month visit. Upon arrival, i was told i was getting x-rays done ok cool. After my x-rays the doctor came inside and notified me that I had 3 cavities however, the dental assistant said I had 2. That's already a red flag because no one's on the same page !! So I'm confused at this point be because I never get cavities anyways, so after they discuss with me about the cavities they proceed to say that I'm good to go. I was told i wasn't getting a cleaning because they stopped doing those at 4pm. WHY SCHEDULE ME TO COME AT 4:30 if I wasn't getting a cleaning ?? Now i'm LIVID. I came in this nasty unprofessional office and yall only did x-rays on me ? I guess I dodged a bullet because as I mentioned before this office was not clean whatsoever. So at this point I just walked out and called my insurance and asked if I can go elsewhere and get a second opinion. Fast forward to today, I did go to another dentist which took new x-rays and a cleaning ! Guess what ? I don't have any cavities!! That just shows how money hungry some dental offices can be and that's just sad ! I wouldn't send my dog To Brident Dental. To have such a nasty environment, unprofessional staff , and wrongfully charge someone for something they don't need is sickening. I hope improvements are brought to this office before a lawsuit does.

For all you first timers, this office is located inside the big building that has the big sign Texas Bank. I thought I was in the wrong place and called in to verify if GPS took me to the right one. GPS was right and they're on the 2nd floor, right past the pediatric office. I got a call the day before from their office personnel explaining my benefits (how much insurance is paying and how much is my out-of-pocket). I was scheduled for a later time in the afternoon, but since they have an opening at 11 am, the nice lady asked if I would like to take the 11 am spot. Of course, i gladly took it. It didn't take long after I filled out the forms to being ushered inside. The dental assistant, Jodi took very good care of me. She has a cheerful personality that made me feel at ease. I hate dental visits but somehow she made feel like there's nothing to worry about. Dr. Mike did my root canal and he was very thorough and careful. It's an overall great experience for me. I'm glad I was referred here by my dentist!
