My wisdom tooth was saved and a screw was placed next to the side of a pre-existing gap or empty space of tooth. The plan of treatment was to eventually receive an abutment and a crown for that tooth. I waited about a month and a half to two months for my next procedure to be performed. I was given a list of the costs totalling $6632.00. Once I arrived at the dental office, I was shocked to find that my dental procedure was gonna cost me another $3500 plus. I was not aware or was not entirely explained in full detail of the final cost of treatment. Beware of Healthcare places of business like this. I will be going elsewhere to finish my dental work.

I used to always shop at this Kroger location so how did I miss it? This was my first time at MINT. Their office is really nice. I love the modern decor. The young ladies at the front desk were very friendly. One of them handed me an iPad so I could easily fill out the required paperwork for new patients. When they called me back, the first thing they did was take x-rays. It was quick and easy. Next, we went to a room for more x-rays. And then the dental assistant did a mold of my teeth for the free whitening tray new patients receive. Nice bonus! Then the dental hygienist came in to do my cleaning. It was rough. I'm not going to lie. She warned me it would be uncomfortable and she was right. But it wasn't her fault at all. It was my fault for letting the tartar build up so much. Next time I'll be back in six months so it won't be so bad. I'm sure most people don't look forward to going to the dentist. I know I was kind of dreading it since it's been a long time. But everyone was friendly and they put me at ease. I like how they let you listen to Pandora or watch Netflix. But it was hard to watch my movie while they were in my mouth! The 1st bridge that was placed on my bottom teeth had holes in the front that can be visibly seen & the whole time I was gaslit from the entire staff saying they don't see the holes or discoloration when you can clearly see it in a picture. I didn't have any patience left because my teeth were just aching, so I called my usual dentist and asked for them to refer me to a dentist that cared. Reluctantly, they referred me to Dr. Diaz of Sherwin Kershman D.D.S. and Associate. I set up an appointment and he saw me in less than a week. Much better than waiting over a month just for a checkup. Service was really friendly and quite speedy. There's no B.S., they tell you what's up. They took an X-ray, checked my blood pressure, etc. and gave me pamphlets and let me watch a video about wisdom teeth extractions and why they're often necessary, and then the Doc came in to see me. They educate you and let you know what they recommend so you won't feel like they're going to nickel and dime you for unnecessary precedures. Right off the bat, he's really friendly, explains everything he's going to do in detail, and is up for any questions you may have. I set the appointment for the extraction about a week from that day. I got there, wham, put me to sleep, bam, 45 minutes later I'm awake and my wisdom teeth are gone. It's that easy. This dentist knows what he's doing. I'd recommend him to anyone.

He also seems to narrate a bit of what he's doing during surgery, which really takes away that whole dreadful "what's happening now?!" feeling you might get if you're afraid of dentists anyway. The staff there was also very friendly and helpful, between going through the paperwork to the assistants working by him.
