This rating goes to all the Chinese out there. I am chinese and I made an appointment a day prior for massage due to my back pain. The pain got worse at night time and totally forgot about the appointment. Right be for the appointment time I got a call from a Chinese lady from this place to remind me the appointment is due. I told them I don't feel well and can't make it. Guess what the receptionist said? People don't show up for appointments are all Chinese. I'll go ahead and cancel your appointment. In a very condescending tone. What in the world?? Really? You just lost your business plus your reputation. I will never go to this place or recommend anyone to go. All chinese...Please do not go. Because you will be discriminated by your own race. read more

Last minute foot massage. My husband and I had a dinner date after we decided to make a last minute foot massage appointment since we were in Pasadena, HM warm spa was able accommodate last minute appointments for us. It was such a great foot massage to the end the night. My husband and I enjoyed it very much. The ladies were great at what they did. We'll definitely be back and try out the hot stone massage next. Price is very good as well. Thank you for making us feel relaxed, it was much needed. read more

Coco did 90mins body and foot massage for me ! It was amazing and definitely will come back!

Ella and Mia did an excellent job in 60 mins couples massage. Room is clean and atmosphere is relaxing

Went for a couple's massage. Called and asked if they had any availability in the next hour on Memorial Day. They were very accommodating. We got there 15 minutes early and had to wait another 15 minutes after our scheduled time. I didn't mind too much. They had a couch and a water dispenser. We got a room for the couple's massage. Since it was a our first time there, we didn't really know what to expect. I wish there was a bit more instruction like --"please use the restroom before" or "please get situated and we will come in in a bit." Only because they told us to go to the room and then they closed the door without saying much. We just looked at each other wondering what to do, so I had to go outside and find some help. The massage was pretty good. We got the couples massage for $100+tip. They'll ask you to pay in cash ahead of time on the phone. Although it was supposed to be a full body, I wish that they would ask which part would be focused on more. I had a lot of tension on my neck but ~60% was on my back. Overall, they still did a great job. My favorite part was the hot stones and the head massage. After the massage, they offer you a cup of water which is always nice. read more

I want to get a massage here everyday for the rest of my life. I had Jenny and she was so attentive to my every movement and was sure to communicate with me and ask me what I needed. A PASADENA GEM. Wow. read more

I called today and Amy, the manager, was able to fit me in pretty quickly. She really tries to accommodate people. Lili was my massage therapist this afternoon and it was one of the best 90-minute deep tissue and hot stones massages I've gotten! Her touch was just right - very firm but nothing ever felt like it was too much. The room was clean and the price was great. Very thankful for the stress release. I will be back soon. read more

Very unprofessional! Lack of privacy. The counter person barged into my room as I was changing in order to hurry me out. Beware!

Amy was very pleasant and welcoming! Summer and Wendy were AMAZING!!!! We loved our couples massage to take the stress away from Wedding planning! Thank you so much! read more

This place does a really good job. Every masseuse is skilled. Never had a bad experience. I've taken my entire family here and they all enjoy it. read more

Been coming to this massage place for about 2 years b/c of their great massages plus I live a couple minutes away so it's super convenient. But not anymore! After an already horrible day and a bad headache, I decided to treat myself to an hour massage. What else could possibly go wrong!? Well, my massage was half assed and was jipped of my hour! she didn't even touch my legs....so much for a full body massage. According to the manager, I had to specify that it was full body. Weird cuz I never had this issue w/them before and never had to specify in the past. Not only that, the manager explained this to me very publicly. I'm a pretty easygoing person who doesn't like to make an issue of things so this was very embarrassing. Making me feel like sh** for THEIR shortcoming. The manager offered to give me my money back or a giftcard but I refused. I wouldn't have felt right asking for the money back even tho I was cheated of my service. She kept insisting on reimbursing me and I just wanted to go home so I said I'd take my money back. Then she switched it to a $20 giftcard!!! What!? Besides, what good would a giftcard do me for a place I'm not coming back to let alone a $20 1!? Left this place bawling my f***ing eyes out. Thanx for making my day worse. Will not be returning! read more

I went to get a massage for my grandma and I and they were very accommodating. Since she's older they got us a room downstairs so she wouldn't have to go up and down the stairs. The masseuses were very good and found knots in my back that I didn't realize I had. Overall a great experience and will be back! read more

I've been here twice now and loved my experience both times! First time was around Valentine's Day and my husband and I booked the 1-hour couples massage, which was in a private room and included a deep-tissue massage + free hot stones! Candy and Lulu were amazing, super professional and gave us an awesome massage! Second time I came back a few weeks later for a deep tissue massage on my own and I requested Candy again. She was great! The place is clean, they have flexible hours and decent street parking options. It's a no frills type of place, but with really good massages for a great price! read more

Best massages ever. The staff knows what they are doing. I have come many times for deep tissue massages (and I have had massages in many places over the years). They do a great job all of them, and work really hard. This is not fluff, it's people who know. read more

Best massage place in Pasadena! Everyone is so professional and welcoming. Super reasonable price and always willing to fit me into their schedule! read more

My husband and I had the most incredible couples massage with Didi and Angela. Love this place! Had a great couples massage with my man and Amy was so sweet. Will definitely be back!

As a tech-startup professional and a Crossfit coach, I trade off staring at a screen for 8 hours with working out and instructing fitness classes 2 hours -- every day. My body's always in want of some TLC, so I'm picky about my massages. Husband's in the same boat, so occasionally we treat our muscles with a couples' massage. HM Warm Spa absolutely delivered. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. HM's staff greeted us warmly and we were provided a room immediately as soon as we walked in (we walked a couple minutes late past our appointment time due to traffic, but they didn't fuss). The welcoming, low-lit room had a tranquil, pleasant atmosphere with serene quiet music playing. The massage tables themselves were comfortable (neither of us walked out afterwards with indents on our faces from the face cradle). The massage itself was superb! We had requested the 90-minute full-body massage, and it most definitely was that. They devoted just the right amount of time to each body part, and I was really thankful that they also provided facial and neck massages. Everyone has certain problem areas where they're tight or immobile. I noticed my masseuse was able to locate mine and pay special attention to those areas even though I hadn't mentioned a thing about them! I was also pleasantly astonished that they also used hot stones (which we didn't pay additionally for) in our massage, which I had never experienced before! And they wiped us down after using oil with refreshingly hot towels, too. It was amazing. I walked out of the place feeling completely relaxed and limber and my muscles felt completely loosened up. While I've been all over to different luxury massage places (Hawaii resorts included), I have to say HM Warm Spa gave me one of the most impressive massages I've received - ever. read more

5 star: massage 4 star: the place I think I may have been spoiled with my expectations of a massage place having been a member of a really great spa before. But since I moved to the Alhambra area, I've had difficulties finding another place that I liked. The last asian massage place I went to was horrible, so I was hesitant to try this place, but I'm glad I did. What really made my experience was the person I got, Sophia. She was really great and listened to what I really wanted and spent more time on the problem areas I pointed out in the beginning. I got the combo body and feet for $49.99 and it came with hot stone massage. It was my first time getting a hot stone massage and it felt great. It was also the best foot massage I've ever gotten. I also liked that she asked me first if I wanted my face massaged, which I don't like, so I said no. The last place I went to, she just started touching my face, which made the experience uncomfortable from the start. Sophia was great. It was kind of weird though that I couldn't find her afterward. I found out that she was already massaging someone else. I don't think she even got a 5 minute break in between :(, but she was able to step out so I could at least hand her her tips. I'm hoping she prefers it that way though, because she gets more customers. Sophia was very caring and I recommend requesting for her if you ever check out this place... and tip well please. The lady in the front was very kind also. Now, to the reasons I left out one star. I hate to not give this place a 5 star, because I think they really care about the quality of service they provide. But the bed and towels were uncomfortable. I think if the bed was softer (maybe add an extra cushion on top) and if they provided actual sheets rather than just towels, it would have made a big difference. Please consider those two things :)... besides that, I would recommend this place. Hot stone massage is a great experience! read more

Sadly I'm only in LA once a year otherwise I'd come here every single week. This place accommodates last minute appointments. They're so well priced that even tipping 100 percent I still paid less than what I would for a 60 minute massage in Boston. Erica is storing some ungodly strength in those tiny muscles and she found some crazy knots and tension I desperately needed worked out. For all you uninitiated souls (and I see some of you leaving reviews) this is not your typical white person spa. The cheapest deal is usually done with your clothes on in a non private room, so wear loose clothes. Although they do have private rooms for the non foot based massages. The masseuse probably doesn't speak a whole ton of English so you're not going to get a 10 minute pre massage interview. But it doesn't matter bc they can immediately figure out what's wrong with your muscles just by touching them. Like good massage therapists. And for the love of God - when i see people tipping a "generous" 20 percent at a place where a massage costs $30...ugh. I genuinely think the idea that we tip service people based on the price of the service is insane. My masseuse was climbing all over my table, grabbing my arms and legs and stretching me around, stepping on my back, and never let up the pressure. Meanwhile i've had people at $100 places half heartedly slap some lotion on me and rub it in slowly. My rule is I always tip at least $15 for a good massage regardless of how much it cost. Granted i purposely don't go to super expensive places. But a good masseuse is freakin really working for it and I just wish for these kinds of things we get rid of the percentage bias. So just think about that when you go to these value massage joints. They're probably making minimum wage and they need to touch your nasty ass feet so tip according. read more

HM Warm Spa is amazing! Every time I go I get a fantastic massage at a super reasonable price. I also love that they're open late so I can go after work easily. Their masseuses always seem to know what is bothering me and I come out feeling much better. read more

I love this place. Always available for walk-ins and reasonably priced. The owner is kind and accommodating and the masseuses are skilled.

Wendy and Candy were amazing, this place is now in my top 2 favorite massage spots! Me and my wife went on a difficult hike over the weekend and after 3 days out bodies were still feeling it. I called late around 8:50 pm and they were able to squeeze me and my wife in at 9:10 pm. The receptionist was very friendly, accommodating and took us in right away. If you want to treat yourself or a loved one, you have to come to this spot! read more

Such an amazing experience. My girlfriend booked us for a couple's massage and it was so great. The manager/ owner, Amy, was very welcoming. Our masseuses, Wendy and Jenny, were very experienced and made us feel so relaxed. We both left feeling so calm, with humongous smiles on our faces. This was my first massage experience and it was eye-opening. Couldn't recommend it enough. read more

I popped in here for a quick nighttime foot massage. It's really a great deal! $30 for an hour that includes back, shoulders, neck, and foot. It's hard to find these prices in Pasadena especially at a spa with such a clean environment. Will definitely be coming back to try their body oil massage next time. The girl who helped me with the foot massage hit all the spots. Only wish is that she could have been a little stronger since I prefer strong massages. But aside from that definitely give this place a try if you're in the area! read more

Best spa experience!!! My masseuse has gifted hands! Love this place. Will be booking again very soon.

I've tried the massage places in fancy spas and the small shops in the SGV. This place marries the two worlds. It was a great massage. The ladies were amazing. I splurged with the facial and I felt so relaxed. This place definitely in my rotation especially when I'm wanting the extra self-care! read more

Lucy who is no longer there gave me the best foot massage I've had. Going back today.

disappointed given the rave reviews. i get massages regularly - monthly at minimum, usually biweekly. i live closer to this place than my go-to spa, so decided to give it a try. unfortunately the technique was pretty monotonous and light - lots of elbow and arm gliding, barely any acupressure. i asked for the hardest pressure and had to ask for my masseuse to press harder, which is really rare for me. they also used a LOT of oil, like it soaked into my clothes after (it was also kinda cold). i liked that hot stone was included. my favorite part was the scalp & face massage portion at the end, but sadly it was quite short. i got a little bored, tbh, but didn't want to be rude since it was the end of their workday. my masseuse also seemed kinda over it by the end. when i went to the front to pay, no one paid attention to me until a different lady came out (who i assume is the owner? she seemed nice). i appreciate the fair price, but will likely not return as it was mid. read more

I waited to give this place a review. The masseuse get 5stars. I wanted to see if they were consistent, and so far I've been here 7times and each time the masseuse exceeded the last! This is definitely NOT your average "foot massage place". I would say get rid of -happy feet- and put an HM Warm Spa. Now the setting, does need more room. Four beds are in the same area as the waiting room (enclosed with curtains only). So it is hard to relax. But I go for the massage. I like to get the $25 foot massage. Which includes, head, neck, arms, shoulders, feet and back! It's more than you pay for! WELL WORTH IT! And like I said, the last masseuse EXCEEDS the next! read more
