Quick and fast installation by Louis Zendejas. Looking forward to feeling safe at home.

Everyone I have dealt with has been very professional and helpful. We had an alarm system installed today and we are very much pleased. My initial review was 5 stars but I changed it because I personally highly dislike over promising and under delivering, and that is exactly what happened with these guys. Very nice guys, but just couldn't keep their word at the end. Whether it was $5 or $35, the bottom line is if you tell your customer you're going to do something, do it! It's that's simple, and the fact that they don't return calls makes things even worst. read more

I highly recommend Ray and his team at HM Security. They installed security systems at both my home and business. Very professional, explained the system to me and followed up a few days after to insure that I was completely happy with the service and hardware. I now have a peace of mind 24/7. Love that I can see my office and home from the ADT app on my phone. You can't put a price on peace of mind. read more

I couldn't be happier with the service I received from Ray and Louis. They installed a home security system in my home. They were prompt, knowledgable, professional and very helpful. I recently called back because one of my mom's properties was broken into. They had a technician at her property the next morning and took very good care of her. Their whole team is professional and reliable! Great job guys!!! read more

I have been calling for over 6 months, they keep saying someone will come and check our system out and no one shows up. I spoke with Ana and Amber over the phone. They even said their supervisor will show up and nothing. DO NOT do business with them, they are not reliable and are most definitley not helpful, please look for another ADT authorized dealer. Once they get your signature on the contract they don't care about you as a customer. https://www.bbb.org/us/ca/downey/profile/security-systems-consultants/hm-security-inc-1216-415589/complaints#17985033 read more

This review is for Hector. He installed my alarm and doorbell system. He let me know the status throughout the install, was professional and stayed very late in order to get the job done. He left me his cell phone number to call or text with any questions or problems. Hector was personable, competent and knowledgeable. I'll definitely be referring him to any of my friends and associates who are looking for security systems. read more

Loved that they did this for us since we wanted our home secured as of day 1. Everything was explained to us throughly and even left us a great cheat sheet for our kids to learn the system. Thank you so very much, i will definitely recommend u to everyone. .... read more

Bad service what so ever. Reynaldo made an offer that was good for us and was very helpful at first but then after he got what he wanted and disappeared. Very bad when it comes to answering phone calls and calling back. It's almost going to be a year we switch from Guardian our last home alarm system to them and we still haven't received any window decals or signs. We've done multiple calls and nothing. Sucks for ADT that we can not promote their service and we're still promoting the other one. For now on we'll be calling ADT directly for issues as minimal like getting some signs. We do regret doing business with Reynaldo the CEO because it has been nothing but frustration. I don't recommend them to help you get the service. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED! When we first met, Mako (the Alarm Rep) from this company, he was friendly and answered all of our questions and concerns. When we were concerned with having a contract with another company, Mr. Mako assured us that we would be compensated; $150 will be refunded to us. So when the day came that he stopped answering our calls and my husband's text, we were surprised! I have left several messages and have not heard from him. I have yet to receive our $150 and a contract from him. I regret going with this company! Would not recommend to anyone! Beware! read more

I cannot begin to express my gratitude for their diligence and great service. Louis went above and beyond to provide me not only with the best customer service, but even greater peace of mind. I am certain there are plenty of other ADT dealerships that can help you secure your home, but I am certain no other dealership and staff can help you feel as valuable as these guys here. Louis was able to answer all my questions and concerns, including my 7 year olds (which trust me, were a lot lol). Definitely very happy with our new security system at home. read more

First of all, all of there ads on tv and the radio are bogus. There $99 special just gets there salesman in the door to your home or business. I recently contacted them and spoke with a sales rep. after I had a few more questions a day after I tried calling and asking for the same sales rep and never got the same guy. I asked about there details in the commercial and tried to get a quote over the phone and was just convinced to send a rep to my house which was fine. Once the rep came over 3 days later ( I was a victim of a burglary and urgency was my top priority) I was eager to just get it done. I then had a unmarked van come for the install and when I told the gentleman if he was with ADT .he said he was an authorized ADT alarm installler which confused me. I asked why ADT did not send an ADT van and an ADT official employee, he shrugged his shoulders and said "it's complicated but don't worry it's how they operate". I later found out after doing some extensive research that ADT hires these independent contractors (not ADT employees) to do a lot of there resedential installs and they sell the contracts to ADT. I just felt uneasy dealing with a company that is soo large and unprofessional to secure my home and business. These independent contractors are probably not even background checked. If you value your security and don't want to be just a number call a local company that cares about your security and has 100% employees under there name with thorough background checks and dont sell your contracts to corporate companies. ADT also list there systems as $1 a day e.g. $30 or $40 a month but in there contract is states that they are allowed to raise there rates later in the contract and from my research they do. Beware of ADT support your locally based businesses. read more

Well, I just got off the phone with Kieser Consulting. I was given their number as the people who scheduled my Saturday appointment between noon and 5:00pm -- for which NO ONE SHOWED UP! I was told they could not understand how I got an email from ADT with a Saturday appointment -- they had no paperwork or work order or anything. So once again I am without a working system. In fact on Saturday when the alarm went off ADT did not call until AFTER the police showed up at my front door! This is the poorest excuse for a home security system and monitoring company! I wish they would do something about it! read more

We finally have our alarm system! Thanks to Rey for taking the time to make sure our needs were met and making the process quick and easy. Installation was awesome all done by Angelo, all questions answered. Very satisfied with the service and happy to have a one less thing to worry about. Thanks Rey! read more

NEW CUSTOMERS BEWARE! Its been about a month and a half since I've had the security alarm system. I've had 4 false alarms on the system, the reason being the sensor keep falling down. The first couple of times it was the door sensors, they came down and fixed it. The last couple of times it has been the window sensor falling down. I called about 5 days ago and haven't heard back from anyone yet. This is very frustrating and annoying. I would think a big name like ADT would offer professional installation to their customers. I would not recommend to family and friends!!!!!!! Also the price agreed on the estimate with LOUIS was not honored. When I received my first billing statement it was $5 more than the price that was clearly stated to me. I called RAY and informed him his response was" ill take care of it after I deal with the false alarm issues you have".(yes Ray its not important to you since you are not making the monthly payments). But nothing has been done regarding the monthly over payment!!!!! It has been about 3 weeks ago since I spoke to him. read more

You can pretty much find alarm systems anywhere. What sets them apart is their customer service and integrity. Louis has gone above and beyond for my elderly parents. I initially called and received a quote since my parents needed an alarm for their home. Not only was he helpful towards me but with my parents who needed to be walked through the whole process as well. Anytime they have questions they call him and he always makes sure they get their questions answered an any issues resolved. Louis is honest and very helpful, great customer service. I highly recommend read more

They did a great job at my house. The previous company I had only gave me a very limited amount of equipment. Hm security gave me a lot more than they did and I now feel a lot safer. Thank you! read more

I have had the worst experience with their accounting and customer relations dept.. Their service rep. did not explain things property, charged me much more than they should, gave me a service that was much more than needed. I have been a customer of theirs in northern California since 1996, when I moved here I was told that since it was a transfer the installation would be free, inst4ead it cost me huge amount of money. Anyway, please be aware and don't fall for sales tactics. Hirma G read more

We are extremely unhappy with the ADT representative that came to our house in the 4100 block of Palo Verde Avenue in Lakewood, CA, yesterday. My 84 year old Father told the representative, "No thank you", but the guy kept on talking. After the third time of saying we do not want anything, my Father told him to leave the property and as my Father was closing the door, the representative still would not leave but said, "I will be back later". My Father opened the door back up and yelled to this rep, "Do not come back on my property or I will call the police". I then called ADT to complain and had to deal with "NO" phone number, unless I am a customer or want to be a customer. When I was able to get a hold of one employee, she said that it was probably a "third party salesman" and that I would have to have his name and the dealership name that he is working for. I went down the street to get this information and found a second representative that was working the other side of the street. He apologized and said they would leave our neighborhood. He could not provide a name or dealership and neither rep was wearing identification from the City of Lakewood, showing that they have a permit to go door to door in our city. I think it is pretty sad ADT when you do not have better quality through your guidelines on who you allow to represent your company. Of course, we do not want and will not want anything to do with your company. read more
