What impressed me about their dinner menu is the drinks, very strong and delicious. The food was okay... we ordered a burger with fries and wings. The meat was cooked medium rare, if you don't like it cooked that way make sure you let them know. I really enjoyed the wings, they were well seasoned and give a decent portion. They also charge for extra ketchup which I've never experienced, understandable if it was ranch or some other special sauce but it wasn't. All the servers were polite, attentive and the place was clean and felt welcoming. They have a bar that I'll probably go to next time just for the drinks. I recommend to order their hazelnut espresso martini and the madre mía both drinks were amazing!

They were tiny with hardly any filling. The empanadas usually have a ground meat or shredded chicken. This one had pieces of pork so it was not flavorful at all. There's table seating indoors and outdoors. The yucca con chicharron was okay too. Usually it comes with a salad like but this one came with 1 beet, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber with a small bag of curtido. No sauce. Tip: The server gave me a business card and recommended to call for orders to go as the waiting time was 30 minutes. I did not mind waiting. I appreciated her sharing this. Tip: recommend the pork tamal. The pupusas if hungry get at least 3.

I had come across many rave reviews of this spot in Hercules, but I had never noticed it was actually open. Upon arriving, I glanced at their menu and decided to try two of their empanadas: the mushroom and the spinach. The Spinach empanada was filled with spinach, caramelized onions, and smoked mozzarella. However, it had a bitter and muddled flavor and texture. The buttery and delicious dough did manage to save it somewhat. Next, I tried the Mushroom empanada, which featured cremini mushrooms, shallots, thyme, and crème fraîche. This had a better flavor, but it was unevenly cooked. Some parts were burnt, while others were undercooked, but the side was perfectly cooked. It came with a choice of dipping sauce: chimichurri, mango habanero, or ranch. I opted for the ranch and chimichurri. They also serve desserts, including Alfajores. I tried the Dulce de leche alfajor, which was filled with dulce de leche, and the Chocolate alfajor, which was filled with dulce de leche and then dipped in chocolate. These were made by a company and individually wrapped, so they were kept refrigerated. I'm unsure how often they are made, but they were a bit hard. For beverages, I tried the Lychee Refresher, which was made with sparkling water and lychee jelly. I love lychee anything, so it was definitely a 10/10. There's only outdoor seating, but the view is beautiful. It's close to the water, so it can be a bit windy, even on a hot day.
