Although, they need no sauce to help them! We will always come back to enjoy the great food and wonderful atmosphere.

The table was not wiped off, the water was out, and the trash was overflowing to the point it was piled so high that adding any more would tip out. I could hear them chatting the whole time in the back and whenever I walked up I would find one or two of them leaning against a wall or sitting down and she would help with whatever I asked but like I didn't see any of them come out to check the dining area at any point in the hour we were there with our friends. They'd come out to refill the water or to deliver food or to take my trash (but not empty the actual trash???) but never to like wipe down the tables or do any of the things I usually see people doing. It was odd. Also, weird question but why is there a mint dispenser that doesn't work? It doesn't have a sign. I don't care about the 50c and once I noticed how dirty it was I was concerned about eating anything that did come out- luckily nothing did because now I wonder how old those are... so uhhhh why is that there? One of the girls mentioned someone wouldn't remove it and that it was from "before" so I guess from whatever this place was previously? Anyway, the menu was also odd. They only had one that we could use at our table so our friends and I had to swap it back and forth. Some things were whited out, which is fine, but then there were things without prices next to them, which is not fine. I am not a big fan of surprises in pricing. The menu listed build your own options, but not prices next to things. I ended up picking some things for a burrito and having to ask what the price was before I committed. It ended up tasting fine and I even liked the salsa it came with. However, everyone in my party agreed that they did not like that aspect. It actually deterred my friends from ordering from that menu. I was also deterred but they were out of pesto so I couldn't get the turkey sandwich I wanted. They messed up my husbands order but fixed it, thankfully. But again, it was just odd. Instead of pepperjack cheese they sprinkled pepper on top and used jack cheese. The one girl apologized profusely. At the end of the day, there were just too many things that were odd or off-putting here to myself and my friends. We will be trying a different coffee shop next time they're in town.

It's a quite nice place to have lunch. The guy at the front register could have been a bit more inviting. When i asked him about the ingredients of the homemade dressing, he couldn't tell me anything other than its canola oil. He didn't ask the full staff behind him for details. Just wasn't too friendly but other than that, the food was flood and i almost left out with a grab and go salad but i degreased and just left with my sandwich.

They had a few day old options at 50% off and many pastries, breads, sandwiches, salads and beverages to choose from. People are always nice and friendly and prices are comparable to other shops. They do have a cute dining area and a few al fresco tables. I certainly recommend this place.

LaMadelaine's in the Garden District of NOLA is a MUST when I make my way that far south, so it's no wonder I have shopped locally to get my french pastry "fix on" over the many decades LaBaquette has been available to me here. Knowing Reginald Dahl, the original owner of LaBaguette, used to make those pit stops even more special for me, as I try to support local businesses when possible. I decided recently to pick up a few things on my way home. I ended up w/a total of 4 pastries (one was day old so it was half off) one was a chocolate raspberry tart, an almond croissant, an almond creme filled custard. The sticker shock total was OVER $22.00!!! Absolutely ridiculous to think I paid that for 4 items. BUT, this is NOT the reason for the review. The choc raspberry tart was atrocious. There was no balance to the chocolate to raspberry ratio. The whisper of raspberry flavor that managed to make it into the bottom of the pastry shell wasn't even enough to make out a berry flavor at all. If there hadn't been a slight thin line of reddish color for the naked eye to perceive, I'd have thot it was all chocolate icing. Sadly, I think I'm done w/LaBaguette, I refuse to pay their expensive prices just to receive poor quality products.

My wife suggested JoJo's Espresso to me - - I knew she had enjoyed her coffee dates with a friend, but I told her I need a place to eat, not just drink coffee. She assured me that the menu was more than enough also knowing that my friend and I like to have healthy options. I was not prepared completely for how unbelievable of an experience we had. The service was spot on. The layout is immaculate. And, even with a full restaurant by the time we were leaving, I could hear him (I oftentimes have trouble in public spots). I'll take pics of food next time! And their food menu is one that I could literally order anything and be happy with. This first trip I had a breakfast bowl.

Delightful little coffeeshop in Germantown! :)…read more I came here to refuel after attending a funeral and before transitioning to a family dinner. It's in a cute shopping center. A lot of the businesses seem quite busy, so parking is a little bit of a hassle, but not too bad. I rolled into a very nicely decorated, welcoming space. It's roomier than I expected with plenty of tables to work, eat, or gather. They offer coffee drinks, pastries, and even full breakfast and lunch - think sandwiches, fruit bowls, salads, waffles, etc. I made my way to the register. The young lady who took my order was effusively nice and very friendly and I enjoyed chatting with her a little bit - apparently, neither one of us are from the Memphis area, haha. I ordered a latte of some sort (can't remember the exact name but it was their take on a biscoff cookie latte) and a muffin to go. I was able to make myself a quick complementary cup of cool water at the self-serve station as well as napkins, straws, etc. my order came out quickly. Overall, I was quite pleased. The muffin was loaded with chocolate chips and also had very pleasant notes of cinnamon and other warming spices. The latte had the perfect amount of ice in it and a discernible, fairly strong biscoff taste, which I enjoyed. My one main wish was that it been mixed a bit more before served; most of the syrup was at the bottom and came through in either gigantic overwhelming mouthfuls or not at all. However, that was a fairly easy remedy to render myself with a few good stirs of my straw. I'd say this visit is a 4.5. This coffee shop is close to my aunt's house and I will definitely return next time we visit the Memphis area. If quality remains consistent, it'll be an easy round up to a 5 next time. Thanks, JoJo's!
