It was able to identify my design preferences by showing different living rooms and asking which ones were to my liking. In addition, its questions served as a great preparation for the home visit, so Stephanie came well prepared for our meeting. Stephanie was very creative, professional, and helpful throughout the process. When she visited my place, we decided on a design together, in an efficient process, where she was able to translate my needs and preferences to interior design decisions and furniture choices. After two weeks, she assembled a furniture shopping list, within the budget I requested. I purchased all items she suggested. The furniture items were sourced from many furniture stores and I felt she did an excellent job finding items that were beautiful, fit the overall design, and reasonably priced. As a homeowner, I have been mystified by the quest to find the perfect paint color. It seems there are just too many paints color options. The reason I believe it has become so much more difficult is because there are too many shades of colors. Such as the color white, one would be surprised the number of shades of white one can explore. Once you have decided to refresh your homes appearance with new colors, the next challenge is all the various retail stores to choose from and the choice of manufacture. Our retail paint store choice has always been Aboff's Paints, and our paint manufacturer Benjamin Moore. The service that we have received from Aboff's has always been outstanding. Our problem has always been choice of paint color, not paint manufacturer. Unfortunately, Benjamin Moore, has over 3,500 colors to choose from, which is incredible. Aboff's has been complimentary in most cases on our final choices, which does help a little bit.

They are racist, sexist, rude, and incompetent…read more I needed white paint for a bedroom, and they sold me an eggshell finish. When my painter saw the two gallons of paint, he immediately asked why the finish was in eggshell and that the walls would be super shiny. This is more for a bathroom. I called Aboff's and told them about the situation and asked if there was any way they could take it back as the paints totaled $98.00. Instead of apologizing about the inconvenience, the worker started raising his voice and said eggshell is his most popular finish and that's what he would use on his walls and that if I wanted a flat finish I should have said so. But I do not work at a paint store and do not have knowledge on this stuff, and that is why I specifically told them that it was for a bedroom and asked them what to get. Even if the finish is a personal choice, the way they spoke to me and handled the issue was horrible. Never going back.

She brought together a carpenter, stone mason, A/V expert, painter and floor refinisher who together transformed the room. This was the second time I've used Larry's Design Center, and it was even easier than the first…read more Two years ago they installed Hunter Douglas Duette Powerview shades in my 5 windows. Because of the configuration of my apartment getting all 5 shades to work with Powerview was no easy task. John, the installer, hung in there and with a lot of extra effort got them all working. Two years later it was time for a change, if for no other reason than one of my cats had carved out a viewing hole in my bedroom shade. I called Larry and he came, took new measurements and gave me an acceptable estimate. We ordered Hunter Douglas Silhouette shades, again with Powerview. The new shades were expected to be delivered in about six weeks. In the meantime the batteries in my front shade died. John showed up and changed the batteries, no charge! When the new shades arrived so did John. With the help of his wife John had all five shades installed in about 30 minutes. Because of the WiFI changes made two years earlier the Powerview connections to all five shades worked instantly. John even carted all of the old shades down to the basement for me. Should I decide to redo my shades, or if Stanley decides to chew out another porthole, I will no hesitate to call Larry's Design Center again!

They came and measured the windows. The installation was terrific. No issues, just beautiful window cornices. To my pleasant surprise, the fabric was matched on each cornice. A detail that enhanced the overall look, and one that I did not think of. I will definitely use Larry's Design for window coverings for my French doors, etc.
