Three of our pavers cracked in the first winter. Mike actually reached out to my fiancé asking about our sprinklers and wanting to fix them - probably because of my review. Had my driveway done for the third time. Never really had any water in my garage. Only if it snowed hard and after a few days a little water would seep under garage door. No water during or after Hurricanes Irene and Sandy. The crew came on time and did the work on time. The crew seemed knowledgeable and friendly. Worked completed I. Early September. 3 days of rain in early October and water in the garage, cement work they did cracked and parts of it coming up. Called to report and Michael got defensive with questions. Asked for solutions and from memory he stated 4 to five feet up to a refrigerator would need to be dug up and replaced. When I showed him pics he advised me 10 feet. If you don't want to read the full review, just know this: Masone Masonry does good work for a good price, I highly recommend them. Here's the full review: My project was to demolish the back stairs and rebuild it, plus install a new curb out front and pour a concrete walkway around the house. I went and got quotes from a few places around me, some ghosted me, others gave me quotes weeks after meeting, just generally very unprofessional. I then asked my neighbors for the mason they used, and they recommended Masone Masonry. At first I was kinda hesitant since they are located slightly further away in Seaford, but after meeting their owner Michael and getting the quote, I knew they were the one we wanted to go with. First of all, their prices are very reasonable, more so than many of the masonry places near me. Second of all, Michael is very pleasant to deal with, gave me a written quote on the spot, something that took competitors days and weeks of chasing to get. The third reason I picked them was the Before and After project pictures they posted on Facebook, those were breathtaking. So I paid the deposit via a check a few days later, and was put in the queue. One thing to note is that you don't really know when they will get to you, since they have a lot of customers and are very busy. So I decided to just wait and see. In the meanwhile, I drove a long way to their showroom to pick out materials for my back stairs. Included in the quote price are some really nice Cambridge Paver options, we went with Limestone Quarry 3pc texture Pavers, Sigma 8 Limestone Quarry Riser, and Coal e2 edge coping treads. Two months after my deposit, the Masone team showed up at my front door ready to do work, they said they took care of the permits and everything, nice. They split up and tackled all the parts of my project simultaneously, and wrapped it all up in a day. Talk about lightning speed! Make sure when you get the quote from Michael during your initial meeting to lay out exactly how you want your project to be, because that's the blueprint they are following on the big day and these guys move fast. They dug pretty deep, so you know the concrete and masonry work will have a good foundation. The back stairs were ready to be used by the end of the day but the concrete would take a few more days to set. Their work was impeccable, the stairs looked just as good as their Facebook pictures, and the concrete work look great too. The next day a few guys came by to take care of the rest of the cleanup and what not, but in the process they accidentally broke my garden hose's quick connector. When Michael came by later that day to collect the rest of the payment, I mentioned it to him and he reimbursed me on the spot, just like that. This is just one of the many reasons I recommend Masone Masonry. All in all, go with Masone Masonry for your next mason/concrete project, or at least get a quote from Michael. I absolutely LOVE my new patio, walk-way, and front steps! Masone did a truly amazing job from start to finish! From doing prior work with other sub-par contractors in the past, I was really skeptical about doing any kind of bigger project here at our house - but Mike made me very confident during our consult and estimate process that he really, really knows his business inside and out!
