First, the cleaners arrived outside of the scheduled time window, forcing us to rush over to let them in. Then the cleaners tried to overcharge us by claiming the clock starts when they're parked, not when they begin cleaning. Plus they were definitely on their phones a few times during the cleaning as well since we heard them texting and even taking a phone call. Also, the cleaners left without even doing a final walkthrough. But more importantly, the cleaning itself was far below any reasonable standard. From inspecting the home, we noticed: Dust and dirt still on the stairs, shelves, windows, and window shades Bathrooms left dirty, with visible dirt and grime remaining on faucets and cabinets (the cleaners spent like 5 minutes in each bathroom) Streaks and smudges on windows, appliances, and hardware A sticky, unclean kitchen and floors that were not clean This is not a matter of a few missed spots -- the house overall felt not move-in ready, which is especially unacceptable given that we scheduled this cleaning specifically to prepare the home before bringing our 1-year-old baby into it. The cleaners clearly didn't scrub or put in any effort. Their process seemed to consist of quickly wiping surfaces with a wet microfiber cloth, without actually scrubbing or cleaning anything. They didn't thoroughly clean key areas like the fridge, faucets, and other appliances. We ended up having to re-clean the entire house ourselves. When we escalated our concerns to the company shortly after the cleaners left, they took two days to respond. To make matters worse, they offered a token refund of less than 10%, which doesn't come close to making up for the poor service considering the amount of money we paid for a thorough move in cleaning. In summary, this company overcharges for a "thorough cleaning" that is nothing more than a basic, superficial wipe-down. We would not recommend them -- especially if you're expecting a move-in ready home.
