Came by at 10am on a Wednesday and the door was locked. The website sounds like the place would be cool

I got milk chocolate sweetness, mild acidity, some citrus/fruit notes, and a little spice as well. The flavor got more complex as I worked through the cup. Balanced shot overall with good texture and distinct tasting notes. 5 / 5. The pour over was also solid. Full bodied, fruity and floral notes. 4/5.

I realized I actually have been here before but it's been years since my last visit! The inside is your typical quaint, converted row-home with some limited seating. There was only one barista working this day but she was doing her best to take orders and make drinks in a timely fashion. By the time we arrived in the late afternoon, they seemed to be out of some specialty items like the blueberry cold foam (which I heard a few people ask for). I opted for an iced oat milk latte with caramel and really enjoyed it. The flavor was so good I actually questioned whether it was really oat milk, but it was just that good! Street parking can be hit or miss in this area but we got lucky. Super grateful to see their hours are a little more expanded compared to other coffee shops in the area that close early.

I had heard great things about the coffee at Cafe Dear Leon and I thought I'd try something new…read more Why five stars: *Incredible vegan friendly drinks! I ordered a Brazilian Yuzuade with Espresso and a Japanese Cold Brew with Oat Milk. Both were great, the Yuzuade was extremely pleasing. I wasn't expecting much from it (citrus and coffee?) but it was my favorite of the two. *Line moves quick. When I arrived, there was a line out the door. I was able to order in a lot less time than it seemed. *Personable service. The Cafe limits the number of guests inside at one time to six. This allowed the staff to focus their energy on only a few people at a time. I ordered the drinks about an hour a part and the person at the register remembered me and struck up a conversation about my earlier order. Despite the five stars, what don't I like? *No vegan baked goods. I will definitely be returning to Cafe Dear Leon because there is ample parking, the prices are good and the drinks are awesome.

Hands down, the best almond croissant in town. Perfectly flaky with a generous almond filling that tastes rich and authentic. I also tried their Brazilian drink and added matcha to it, and it was incredibly refreshing. Truth be told, I wasn't expecting it to be that good! I ordered the veggie sandwiches too-fresh, delicious, and very filling. I can't wait to come back. The only thing I missed was a place to sit and really savor it. The outdoor seating is limited, and the glass canopy doesn't do much to keep the heat away. So I ended up enjoying my breakfast on the park bench next door... and honestly, it wasn't a bad spot at all. One tip: they're a small-batch bakery with a set menu available during specific hours, so check their timings before you go.
