My review has two parts. 1) Great place to take your kids to 2) Don't book a birthday party here. This place is great to take kids to. Especially on extremely hot or cold days since its indoors. The food menu has a lot of healthy options which is a good change of pace. Kids can run around and you feel safe letting them go. There is free wi-fi and plenty of places to sit. My kids are 4 and 5 yrs old but there is places and plenty of stuff for toddlers too. They also have a card you can refill the balance with to use for entry and buy food. The only negative is their parties. Don't book a party here. We booked a party with cake and food and decorations. We got a lot of extras with the package we got. All was well except at the end when the kids wanted to go back out to the play area...they wouldn't let them. Everyone had to leave. We spent all this money with them and we couldn't have our kids go back out and play. What a rip-off! So disappointed. We and our guests would have spent more money had we been able to stay. I hope they change this policy. read more

Pros: There are a lot of activities and play areas for children of different ages. We hosted our twins' birthday party there on April and it was very well organized and decent rates. The food is also decent with healthier options if you prefer. The children seem to have a great time when they are there. There is also seating for the parents who want to relax while their children play. Cons: The toys and play areas look a little worn down, not very new but I'm not sure how long it's been operating. The staff is mainly teenagers, don't think I've seen an older adult working the few times I've attended. There is a lot of area to cover so if you are like me (helicopter parent) prepare to walk back and forth while your children explore lol. DONT FORGET TO BRING YOUR OWN SOCKS!!!! read more

So I like most people tend to leave a review only when a service/product goes above-and-beyond my expectations or extremely below them. This review is unfortunately due to the latter. I've been to this establishment three times and was generally pleased with the experience - most importantly my kid had a good time. Upon arriving for a fourth visit I was informed that they've instituted a new "parent must wear socks" policy just to sit and watch your kid play. I wasn't wearing socks and would've had to purchase them. I was okay with this, but as we were signing in and settling up, I asked to know why they'd instituted the policy. The man would only restate the policy as his answer, and then escalated by asking me why I was challenging him. I clarified I wasn't challenging him or it by asking for justification. Being just over a week out from major stomach surgery and having edema I really wasn't looking forward to discomfort of putting on socks, but would've done it if he'd just answered my question and was more polite. I also couldn't help but notice other patrons sitting with either bare feet or shoes on in the play zone. When he grew more belligerent, I asked to speak to the manager and he told me he was the manager and then also the owner. I asked for his name and he refused to give it probably because he's neither a manager or the owner. Meanwhile their staff still walk through the play zone delivering food with shoes fully on because of course it would be an OSHA violation to be in the kitchen without them. I'm honestly not sure what they're trying to accomplish, but being eco-friendly and gluten-free is not going to compensate for RUDENESS. They should consider that there are many perfect and imperfect substitutes for the service they render and put children and parent priorities ahead of their own paternalistic ideals. Formerly Bounce-n-Bob's, this family-owned indoor playground with all inflatable equipment is a child's vision of heaven. With separate areas, each age group has access to Jumpy-Things that they can maneuver through and have fun on by themselves. Parents can join the fun if they wish (as long as you have socks!), or they can supervise from a safe distance while enjoying magazines, tv, and free high speed internet. I've been here twice as much as any other similar facility, and I've found it both safe and enjoyable (for the kids and adults). Exits are either carefully guarded, or blocked off. They use Green Cleaning Products every day to disinfect their equipment. The carpets are kept clean and things are always in order. Staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Because they are family owned and operated, you can tell that they put a lot of effort and thought into everything that they do and offer. Parties are always well accommodated -- offering pizza, juice, and cake or ice cream... 2 rooms with tables and chairs for everyone. I have never been disappointed with this company; I've always felt like the children there were safe and that the entire group was well taken care of. This place is well loved by my 2.5 year old. She constantly asks to go to 'Hippo Hop' and loves the main jumpie in the very front that is round and a huge circle. Love that they have something for all ages. We have met friends here for a quick afternoon, rainy-day thing to do and have met a group of people here for an adoption family get together. Considering a birthday party for when my girl turns 3. Food selection is goo and appreciate that they have a wide variety, lots of organic, and some healthier things. Our family loves Hippo Hopp, especially our three-year-old daughter. Take along socks with rubber so the kids don't slide around. Hippo Hopp offers the standard huge inflatables to jump, slide, bounce, run around on, etc., and of course the kids love all of that. I also appreciate that they have many toys around the room that are free for the kids to play on (versus Monkey Joe's, where the extra stuff costs additional money). Hippo Hopp has balls of all sizes, several themed playhouses, an air hockey table, several stationary riding toys, a schoolbus toy, a chalkboard area, etc. I also really like their snack bar, because there are several palatable and healthful options, like the skinny turkey panini with fruit or a cheesestick. They also have homemade muffins, a hummus platter, carrot sticks with dressing, several other sandwiches, pizza, and drinks. Most of the cuisine is kid friendly, and it's priced reasonably. Try to go on a weekday during school hours to avoid crowds--it gets pretty manic in there on the weekend, and the experience definitely suffers for it. All in all, though, a kid-pleaser. My daughter would go every day if we'd let her! We're considering doing her fourth birthday party here too. read more

I brought my two year old niece here and I was as exhausted by the end of the morning as she was. We have regular outings and work with kids so I'm used to the high energy. Hippohopp seemed like there was too much action packed in a small space. It is only five dollars for a two year old which is nice, but I would rather pay more for a safer and better designed space. This place was a lot of fun for my infant and toddler- a lot of different areas for them to play...We went early on a Sunday- to avoid the crowd but the place was already packed shortly after opening time. But even with the crowd we were able to move around freely and enjoy. read more

This place is awesome for kids 8 months-10 years old. I bring my son, age 7 here a lot. On rainy days when your kids want to play, spring break, school breaks of any kind. Hippo hopp also has healthy eating dining, so to the parents trying to watch their waist line this is the place to bring the kids to play while you relax, or bring your laptop to catch up on work, paying bills, or whatever you need lol. Exceeded expectations for birthday party I booked a medium sized party to celebrate my 1 year old son's birthday. Planning process was straightforward, could really be done entirely online, however they were happy to talk over the phone with me for questions and concerns I had and helped me order the right amount of food (which was spot on!). The party room was decorated wonderfully, the cake was exactly what I asked for, and the flow of the party, handled by our party hostess Isis, was smooth as silk. We had children with ages ranging from 5 months to 9 years, and they all enjoyed themselves with the variety of play areas at HippoHopp. We had a lot of adults and was also very pleased with the number of chairs provided in the party room so they would be comfortable. Isis coordinated packing up anything leftover that we wanted to take home. Would definitely use them again. read more

Let me first start by saying this place is a great place for children from six months to eight years of age. My sons father brings his 3 children here every weekend sometimes both Saturday's and Sunday's. We decided to throw our son his 4rth birthday party here Since he loves this place so much. However, the night before his party it snowed and several people stated they wouldn't be able to attend his party due to the weather. We decided to cancel the party due to in-climate weather. I informed them we just booked the party 1 1/2 week prior to the party date and did not fall into the category of cancelling 21 days before the party for a full refund. I scheduled off this weekend from a new job to accommodate my sons birthday, due to my busy schedule I am unaware of another weekend I could take off to reschedule another party. I requested a refund due to the in-climate weather and lack of availability for another party. She gave me the name of the owners and I gave her my contact information in hopes of speaking with the owners. Hopefully they will be more accommodating and helpful in this situation. The owners followed up with me and were very generous and gave me most of my deposit back. A very small portion of the deposit was taken for the inconvenience which is understandable! This place serves it's purpose. Kids of all ages will love this place. The food was good and the playground seems clean. However, parking is terrible with signs everywhere threatened to tow your car if your park here or there. When I finally found parking, it's was a very small space. The time when I went, there was a lot of people and the noise can be a little overwhelming and you are pretty much unable to take your eye off your kid(s) unless your the type to let your child run unsupervised. I took my 2 year old grandson here to play because is was too chilly out. It is fabulous!!!! There are at least 6 bouncy castles- and several giant climbing mazes. He played for hours. We took a break for a healthy lunch at the HippoCafe. Then back to the balls and blocks and bikes. HippoHopp is also one of the cleanest and most sanitary around. I highly recommend it for anyone with young children. I will keep going back!!! read more

Absolutely love hippo hopp! I'm not a mother myself but I truly enjoy bringing my cousin and niece here. Its only about 15minutes from our home and we enjoy being very close. I'm extremely close to my little cousin and i love taking him out while his parents are working. His parents initially started taking him to hippo hopp at age 1. Which he loved! And he also goes to catch air in suwanee but i love hippo hopp more. The staff is absolutely amazing and friendly. You always see them all around making sure everything is running smoothly and cleaning which is a huge PLUS. Also there aren't as much hard playgrounds but more inflatable bouncy houses which is great for safety. There is also numerous toys lying around and even a infant section which my nephew loved!!! But the best part is the cafe with delicious food, many healthy options for kids and adults - organic juices, homemade smoothies, Pannini, pita pizzas, wraps and healthy sandwiches, kid faves like sun chips, hummus and veggies, plus the usual pizza, nuggets, grilled cheese options, not overpriced and very good quality. A friend of my sons (3 years old) had his birthday at Hippo Hop, and we were so impressed we had his birthday party here too! Mechantel was an amazing hostess and took care of everything for us. The people who work here work very hard, but definitely enjoy their jobs. The facility is pretty big, and well designed with a row of comfortable chairs for adults through the center with a variety of playthings for kids, and a toddler room for tiny ones. Their kitchen has gluten-free, vegan, and organic offerings, and the pizza is delicious! Planning your party is totally easy and hassle-free.
