Either way was very delicious and had chunks of grapes and apples in the chicken salad which is always an added delight. Unfortunately the options for chips were either BBQ or BBQ and the choices for drinks were either water or Ale-81. My guess is that we just caught them at the end of the week when their supplies were low. The place is very clean and the employees are very friendly! Lots of good looking pastries but we didn't try any this time.

My mother got a breakfast croissant and I got the lunch special (pork tenderloin, roasted vegetables and mashed potatoes). My mother loved the sandwich except it came with too much bacon - if there is such a thing! The pork tenderloin special was perfect for me! It tasted like a homemade meal. I would order it again. I give this place only four stars because there was not a great selection in drinks (cream soda, root beer, al8, or water) and the coffee was terrible! The sweet lady at the register even made us a fresh pot but neither me nor my mother could drink it. I do recommend this place overall. I will go there again, especially because the desserts displayed at their counter looked AMAZING. I must try some of their cupcakes and their cinnamon bun! If you go just ...maybe bring your own coffee

Parking is minimal, and the drive to the party area is a bit of a walk, but nothing unreasonable. Overall, a really nice place to shop, browse, or host something simple and special. Would absolutely come back.

My wife had the peanut butter shake with hers while I opted for an Ale 8 instead. The hot fudge cake and banana splits we have for dessert was amazing, while it was cold as it was outside-only dining, but it's clean, friendly, and this place is always busy with families keeping long-standing traditions. Whether you stop for an Ale-8-One, a soft-serve cone, or a Big Spencer Special, you always leave this small-town spot happy! If you are thru Booneville, this has to be where you eat. [TLDR] I'm not super into bagels so when my friends suggested that we go to Native Bagel, I wasn't sure if I'd be a fan. But their bagels are soooooo much better than anything you can get at the store. I mostly get their seasonal cream cheeses like the strawberry and pumpkin. I wish they had more cream cheese options. It does seem like they've been experimenting with different flavors and menu items recently. I like their coffee more than any other coffee shop in the area. I prefer my coffee on the sweeter side. I get the iced raspberry (or blackberry) white mocha. It's perfect! I like that I can order online. When you place an online order, they will set your order at the end of the bar near the door when it is done. The staff members are pretty nice. If you order at the counter, they will bring your food out to you. You have to throw away your trash when you are finished. The aesthetic is so pretty. I love the vibes. There are two single stall gender neutral restrooms located to the left of the order counter. They are decent size restrooms. My one gripe is about the size of the venue. It's small and a little crammed, especially since they put in the bar. At times, the place is hard to navigate as an able bodied person, so I'd imagine a disabled person with mobility issues or even someone with a stroller would have a harder time. There is a ramp to get into the main entrance of the building, however, the door is not automatic. I figure there's not much they can really do to solve the issue unless they expanded the building which I understand isn't quite feasible. I only bring this up because I love Native Bagel and I feel like it kinda does impair the experience a little bit. A person with a mobility aid would probably have as easier time navigating Just Love Coffee Cafe down the street than Native Bagel. If you go on Saturday morning it is often crowded! Be prepared to wait in line, and know that there may not be a free table to sit inside. I know this because my friend group and I went every week when we were enrolled at Berea College. There are a few tables outside by the parking lot. Also keep in mind that toward the end of the day they can start to run out of bagels. In the evening, they use the same venue for Nightjar, a bar and dine in restaurant.

Not even greeted when there is a worker. -I tried a cloudy green tea, and a classic milk tea to play it safe. *The cloudy green tea is a 'cheese foam' atop simple green tea, but it tastes watery... like almost nothing. Not what cheese foam tastes like. *The classic tea isn't potent at all, even when asking 30% sugar to be able to taste the tea. Too much milk, and a bit sour tasting. Visited here on a trip, not likely to return. Thankfully it wasn't so awful I could finish it and not waste money.

This evening we ventured up the hill to partake in The Epic Cure! The menu variety looked excellent! Even if their tired 90's music was a bit stale. I quickly opted for the Chicken Tamales (assisted by the fact that one of their crew was pointing it out to me as I walked up). It took several minutes while they prepared them. I was a little confused because I thought tamales were usually a pre-made item, and I could clearly see the chef handling some uncooked masa. As he handed them over, I could clearly see this was the real deal. The chicken was taco-seasoned and juicy (practically falling apart), the masa was warm and perfectly formed into that tamale shape. The corn-black bean salsa was a nice touch also. It would be nice to have some beverage options, but we didn't ask. It was close enough to our apartment that we just walked back and chose from our existing stockpile. Overall, I would say whatever you do, don't discount this less-than-pretty food truck. This cafe lies at the center of a humble roadside inn, and while it didn't appear to me that many people were vacationing during the off-season, there were plenty of people heading in and out of the cafe. The pastry spread had abundant options, and plenty of this place's own chocolate bars were available for sale. I got a Mayan hot chocolate, which I was told was spicy. Hot chocolate is a beverage that not infrequently lets me down, but this one was full-flavored, and both the spice and the sweetness came through. My chocolate chip brownie with cream cheese icing was wildly indulgent. I didn't have a need for any more than that, but if I did, they certainly could have provided something worthwhile. Given the remote location and irregular hours, I would check their website and social media before coming.
