We were 3 adults and a toddler, thankfully we paid a reduced price to enter the activity area because only the toddler did anything & it was too cold / wet to do most of the activities. Apples, cider, donuts, jams/jellies, honey, spices, baking mixes, and so many more. I was surprised at all the things they offered. There is a farmer's market in Richmond once a week on EKU's campus on Thursday from 10 a.m. till 1 p.m. in the parking lot in front of the basketball coliseum just off the Eastern Bypass. The market is also open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. till 1 p.m. at 1238 Barnes Mill Road, Richmond KY 40475. You can call 978-387-0393 for more details. For what it's worth I save 20 to 35 percent and pick up my produce at my local grocery store which tends to have the same or even better quality produce. The flowers they have look as good as any I could find in the area but you can save up to 50 percent by shopping around. If your on a budget I would definitely avoid this place. It's not a big one (maybe ten vendors if that), but the produce looked appealing, and I found numerous peppers. There was a surprising dearth of greens, so I may have to go elsewhere if I want a salad. Then again, maybe the next time I go here I'll find something new.
