That's such a different flavour than you'll get most places (and despite the name, it's not cardomom). It's rich in sumac and just YUM. We had no idea what to expect from the Dahi Baray since we'd never heard of it before -- it turned out to be a few little mushy balls of dough about the size of cherries, in a huge bowl of tangy yogurt sauce that was a little bit sweeter than the raita. I liked the sauce - I mixed some with the rice from the chana masala - but neither of us liked the dumplings at all. When we were done, I stopped in the restroom before we hit the road again.
