Another update that the sound I was hearing was indeed my breaks. Confirmed by another auto shop and they gave me the break pads to prove it. Kenny put breaks with defective hardware on my truck. He will risk you getting into an accident to save a few dollars. Kenny and his team were invaluable in resolving a fuel pump issue for me. They pulled the tank, blew the fuel lines, and rebuilt the pump. Best of all, they were super careful with the car and took care to bring it inside each night. I couldn't believe how fast they completed it all -- I dropped it on a Monday and it was ready early Tuesday -- he was kind enough to keep it stored the rest of the week until I could return. Kenny, the owner of this business, is a crook. I brought my vehicle after an accident and he gave me assurances he could work on my car, an Alfa Romeo. He destroyed my car. Stay away from this business.. DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE HERE. More details below... He took my car and didn't get it back to me until almost a week more than the promised date. Upon inspection, I found damages that were not present from the original accident. I tried to show him these issues before I left the business, but he ignored me and then gaslighted me in saying it was "suppose" to be this way. No, Gouges, scratches, loose hardware, etc. after a repair is unacceptable. The work he did was extremely sub-par. The paint job was amateur (paint splashes, bubbles, streaks). The insurance was paying for this and he did nothing on the quote. What he did was bang out the dents and take the insurance money. Pretty fraudulent actions taken on his part. Despite showing him photographic evidence of the before conditions and showing him the damages in person, he refused to re do the work. He also cursed my boyfriend out in person and over the phone. Using "f" bombs and acting completely inappropriate. Now I have to sue him in court to collect the monies so I can have my car properly fixed as it should have in the first place, and to repair the damages he did in the first place. read more

I brought my car in to replace two axles, two wheel hubs, new cat back exhaust, and new wheels and tires after having it inspected by Firestone, Lou's Custom Exhaust, and JB Auto Care. I dropped the car off on January 17th and have been dealing with their terrible installation, back and forth, until today. I decided to take the car with all of the issues which are: I received the car with the TPMS light on, the ABS light on and the VDC light on. The car was said to have an alignment and it is currently pulling to the right. They destroyed the driver wheel speed sensor. The car has a terrible vibration when taking a right turn. In conclusion, if you take your car for repair here, you will gain more problems then when you first dropped it off. I was a customer for a really long time, my family has known Kenny for over 20 years. Kenny charged me several times for oil changes I didn't ask for. Kenny charged me 1800$ for all season tires (etc) and insisted on storing my winter tires, i trusted him and didn't pay attention that he wasn't swapping the tires when I paid 750$ to remove snow tires, i find when it's winter and it's time to make the swap that the winter tires had been on all along! I had trouble with my transmission, he said idk where all the fluid is going, just drive it. I blew my transmission lines 2x, I took it somewhere else and replace the transmission. My service brake assist light was coming off and in, he said not to worry! My break lines blew at south shore hospital valet. When I picked it up, he said if the breaks are soft, come back. I went back, he told me not to complain about the light anymore. He said my engine needed to be cleaned and he needed 3 hours, I told him the rear ended was bottoming out going over speed bumps, he didn't clean my engine or look at the rear end, he bled my breaks AGAIN!!!charged me 400$ and again told me not to bring it in for the breaks again and that the 400$ was a deal.. when my break lines blew and I said to him, I could've died, I'd been telling you something was wrong, he just smiled and laughed. After all this when I confronted Kenny, he talked over me and proceeded to tell me stories about my only vehicle that never happened, he then called my father and told him a bunch of stories. I have all the receipts, including the one for the winter tires I bought someplace else. Biggest hack on the south shore! Went in for an oil change and came out with a $2,800 bill to fix Kenny's mistakes. Kenny and his team only put in 2 quarts of oil when my truck takes 6. They also used the wrong oil. This resulted in my check engine light coming on due to overheating, oil pump failure, etc. When I called Kenny to discuss how he would right his wrong I got a big middle finger. After receiving service from there I had taken my car to my actual mechanic and was told that he didn't do a thing. The car was done in a short amount of time and I paid $580 and now I have to re pay to have it really fixed because my mechanic looked it over and said I need an axle & alignment along with a few other things. Was a loyal customer for years. Only to find out my truck had been riddle with cheap parts. And the warranty on parts is a scam cause they replace them without telling you first then charge for labor! Only to have more problems. The final straw was when they took my drive shaft out to do a pinion seal; which was not done correctly on top of that they faulty replaced the U joints and my drive shaft completely fell out of my truck while driving on the highway. Luckily no one was hurt! I called and asked to be refunded they money cause I had to pay over 1k to have it fixed properly and Kenny never returned one call just had mechanics call me and tell me to bring it back. Never bring your vehicle here you will end up with more problems than you started with. I was scammed for years and had subpar work done to my vehicle's and didnt even know it! Went for a simple fix. One of the drivers moved the car to a different lock and backed into a tree, broke the break light and scratched the bumper and side of the car. No one mentioned this to us so we picked up the car like this. They ended up fixing the break light next day no problem, however theres dents and scratches that will just remain there I guess because we are not pursuing the other damages done. I work on my own cars regularly. I needed these guys to do a simple thermostat replacement, because I had an interview to get to and didn't want to be dirty. I went to him the day before, they assured me they knew Volvos and could get the job done. It is normally about 1 hour to do the job. The next day, I drop the car off at 9:00, and tell them I need the car by noon. I return at noon, car still not worked on. I asked what was the problem, and they said they were waiting for the part. I told them it was available at AutoZone for $12.50. They said, they don't get parts, they had them delivered. Later I show up. The $12.50 part ended up costing me $150, because they got an entire assembly and thermostat -which the car didn't need- and at full retail. He tries to show me the original part, saying the housing was bad, but in truth it was a gasket that could easily have been replaced for an additional $8.00. Total bill - $360.00. I was pissed at their incredible low level of competence, and the fact that they had no idea how to work on a simple Volvo. The owner says, "the mechanic is nervous". I have no idea what that means, but a word to the wise: these guys are completely incompetent, dishonest, and not worth your time. AVOID THEM read more

If I could give this place negative stars I would. They misdiagnosed the issue with my vehicle causing more issues. The lead mechanic (or shall I say the only other mechanic other than the owner) was extremely enepth. Each time I'd talk to him I miraculously had yet some other issue that never existed the day before. The vehicle was returned running rough, leaking fluids but was assured the work was done. As a woman, a lot of times auto repair places try to condescend to me or talk me into spending money I don't need to. Not here! I used this place a few times before and everything was fine. I bring my Jeep there 2 weeks ago with an issue of the car is not starting and if it does start it takes about 4-5 turns to go on. I bring to them and they say the fuel pump and crankshaft sensor needs to be replaced ( around $500 I am told ). I go to pick it up and total charge is $989. Drive for a day, car does same thing, now worse, takes 7 turns to click on. Engine light is still on. etc. Bring back. Now i am told that the crankshaft sensor must of been defective. Get car back again. Take it out on a Saturday and car dies. Brought back to shop after it takes a jump...they tell me it is going to a dealer. then cant get dealer apt bla bla bla. If I could give negative stars I would. This mechanic used to work for a trustworthy mechanic we had gone to regularly and he bought the business from him. We continued to give him business and had him put 4 new tires on our Tahoe. After he put them on the car started shaking every time we went over 60 in the highway. I brought the car back to have him rebalance the tires (which is what another mechanic recommended I do since he had installed the tires). This happened twice and it still wasn't fixed. The third time he said that he figured out the imbalance and to drop it off later in the week, which I did. I left the car for the day and he called when it was ready. When we walked in expecting to pick up the car (for free since he had never completed the job correctly in the first place) it was nowhere to be seen and we were handed a $530 bill and told that the ball bearings needed to be replaced. This was the first we had heard anything about the ball bearings or a bill. He refused to release our car (which was essentially being held in a fenced in lot next door) until we paid. This guy is a crook. Do not give him your business. It will only end in headache and getting ripped off. read more
