He was helpful, informed, and respectful. When I mentioned I had done some of my own research on the problem, he wasn't defensive or dismissive, instead listening to what I had to say. I went to the Auto Hospital because of a tire constantly losing air in spite of many trips to the dealership to repair it . Nat at the Auto Hospital took great pains to find the problem and fix it ... In the process he discovered that my front brakes were due to be replaced, He fixed the leaky tire and the brakes at a reasonable price and with a smile . I got a flat tire and was parked at the grocery store waiting for AAA. Freddy from Auto Hospital 2 was coming out of the grocery store and graciously came to my rescue and did it for me no questions asked. He had it done in about 5 minutes or less and saved me from waiting who knows how long for AAA. Yes, I am yelping about a gas station, or as I like to refer to it, my gas station. This place is a throw-back to the kind of gas station experience I remember growing up with. Forget self service gas-pumping, ugh, I hate it...this is all full service with the nicest, friendliest attendants you will have the pleasure of meeting during the otherwise mundane task of needing to fill up the tank. You will have both your front and your rear windshields washed for you too. Once you've been there a couple of times, the staff will remember you. I usually go on Saturday mornings with my dog. They always have dog biscuits on hand. Some months ago, I had a slow leak in one of my tires and one of the guys put air in in it for me. This was a much appreciated gesture of kindess. This is what I'd call great service given by good guys. Although I haven't had occasion to use their garage/mechanic service, they have that too. I think it's a smart idea to have a local gas station where they know you. This is my go-to place. Self-serve may be cheaper but I'd rather have a buddy or two at a good gas station like this. read more

I recently moved to Hull and had to say so-long to my former mechanic in Quincy. I was very worried about making this transition because my former mechanic is exceptional! In any event, I drive by Auto Hospital 2 often and I thought I would give them a whirl when I noticed a tire wasn't holding in air. I was BLESSED to come across an honest mechanic like Freddy. I had been having ongoing issues for a year constantly replacing that fuse box that cost well over $500. I've been here several times and they have done good work and are nice guys. One time I went there due to some nasty noise coming from one of my wheels which ended up being gravel caught inside a dust shield. They removed the gravel and didn't charge me anything. It's not the most glamorous place to sit and wait for your car, but I would highly recommend you give them a try if your car requires service. read more

Our experience with the owner, Freddy, was what you want all mechanic experiences to be like... We saw a car nearby that we wanted to purchase and we needed a trusted mechanic to check it out before handing over our cash. After reading all the positive Yelp reviews on Auto Hospital 2, we called Freddy, he fit us in, he had his mechanics check out our car and he reviewed what their observations were. Then he told us NOT to buy the car! They identified a few issues. We saw a few customers come and go while we waited and ALL had a warm relationship with him and looked happy to do business with him. We spoke for awhile with Freddy and his dad who was there visiting and helping out, and we heard stories of how folks helped out his dad when he first came to this country and what a hard working man his dad was (and is!). Freddy has an upbeat, engaging personality and conducts his business with fairness, pride and paying good deeds forward. Maybe it was because we are out of work - but he did not charge us for his time. What a great guy he is every way you slice it. I wished we lived in the area because we would take our cars there for sure and tell our neighbors about him. The very least I can do is take a moment out to Yelp this guy. He is wonderful. My mother is elderly, and her car had a warning light on. I used Yelp to find a service station near her, and found Auto Hospital 2. Gave her the number. They were kind to her, and found a broken sensor. Warning light problem solved. However, they also found a previously undetected broken axle! They offered to fix it at a reasonable price, and they may well have saved her life. My brother spoke to them multiple times, and he said they were nice, sounded honest, and were not trying to scare an old lady into spending more than she wanted. Why aren't more businesses like this? More amazing service. My toyota sienna needed a bunch of exhaust parts put on after a leak was detected due to corrosion. Sullivan's in Norwell quoted me $1400 including a discount. I took the estimate and part numbers, bought all the parts on Amazon for $450 and Auto Hospital put them on for $175! I saved upwards of $750! Plus they were prompt and courteous the whole time. I cannot say enough good things about Freddy and his staff. We are new to Hingham and had the engine light come on in our car. My husband found "Auto Hospital 2" based on Yelp reviews and decided to give it a shot. WOW were we impressed. Not only did Freddy fix the issue without a problem but he noticed a break light that was out(fixed that) and he ALSO checked our car for any recall issues. Turns out there was an issue with the locks. He went above and beyond...called Ford, taken care of, no charge and no hassle. Wonderful!!!!!! Also got the car detailed(interior/exterior). I figured all that work would cost me a fortune...NOPE! Very fair and reasonable. Very clear explanation of work completed and VERY happy customers. We will be back again for sure. When ever I have an issue with my car the first place I think of is auto hospital. They have a good team of mechanics lead by Freddy. When ever I have questions or concerns they always seem to automatically know what the potential problems are just from a small explanation or a quick look over. The customer service is phenomenal. Freddy always walks me through what he did on my vehicle. And also shows me the part that was faulty. Freddy and the crew really care for their customers. And takes care of repeat customers. If you live in the Hingham, Hull, or Cohasset and you own a car that is off the new car warranty then you should consider using Auto Hospital Too for any work on your car. This small gas/service station does business the old fashioned way. If you buy gas they check your oil and wash your windshields, front and rear. And then get this, they say thank you. Other places you can buy gas for a month spending $400 and never have one word exchanged. The best part about Auto Hospital Too is the fact that there are two mechanics who can work on US, Japanese and German cars and treat them like they are their own. They are very inexpensive compared to other places and totally honest. I happen to know quite a bit about cars but I have seen them interact with people who don't have a clue about the working of their cars and they treat them with respect and are honest about what should or should not be done to get the work done and save a few bucks in the process. Having watched them work on many different brands and types of cars and trucks they seem to mostly do brakes, shocks, front end work, and the usual check engine light and, "my car is making a noise" work. I have recommended AHT to friends in Westwood and Waltham and I have had three of my cars repaired there and have been very happy with the results. read more
