And stumbled upon Dalzell Brothers! I had my oil changed and was pleasantly surprised when I got my bill! It was a good $40 (at least) cheaper than paying for the same service at the dealership... And that's with full synthetic oil. I did inquire about getting my car detailed - because it is disgusting from all the snow and salt this winter - but they said they would have to send it out to be detailed. I was a little disappointed to hear that but hey, you can't have everything. The service guys here are very nice and haven't tried to sell me unnecessary service... I know what my car usually needs because my dad owns his own car repair shop, but unfortunately I don't live near it anymore. I have not bought a used car from Dalzell Brothers, so I cannot speak to the quality of their sales staff, but looking around the lot they do have some pretty nice looking Volvos. They do have a waiting area with a TV and free wi-fi... Yay! But they don't have free coffee like the dealership... But if that's what it takes to keep my costs low then that's fine with me! Definitely going back for regular car maintenance.

They denied all responsibility and never followed through on their promise to show me security camera footage. I understand them not wanting to feel accused (if they, in fact, didn't do it), but I am disgusted by the way that they treated me and their refusal to be transparent whatever evidence they did have. I will NEVER bring my vehicle to them again.

Not sure what the prior owners were like but the new team is communicative, friendly, accommodating and they do a stellar job. Not only have they taken good care of my car, they also took really good care of me during the process, walking me through every step and saving me money whenever possible. I really can't say enough good things about them!

I was set to buy a car from BidCars that appeared to be in excellent condition. I asked to have a…read morelocal mechanic take a look and the sales manager said he didn't think it was necessary given that it was under 30,000 miles but he agreed to an inspection. The independent mechanic found that it needed new brake pads and that the rotors were rusted out. I asked if the sales manager if they would agree to have the independent mechanic repair it. They requested an estimate and when they received it, they offered instead to take care of the repair themselves. I was concerned that it would be done by their same mechanics who inspected and put it on the market in the first place. Their owner sent me an angry email that said I had "trust issues" (well, yes, wouldn't you?) I suspect they will now sell it "as is" to the first buyer who doesn't bother getting a pre-sales inspection done. If you are even thinking of buying from this dealership, I can only recommend making the investment in an independent inspection. It was money well spent (and saved).
