Great breakfast buffet. The patisseries were excellent.

I am a fan of the Hilton hotels. I had been a Diamond member for many years, now I am just Gold. With that, you still get upgraded to a better room and access to the Executive lounge, when available. Unfortunately, the lounge was being renovate while I stayed there, so no luck. The room I got was remodeled, very ample, clean and with a great view of the Cosmodome. There is a refrigerator and a safe..and the toiletries are great...they give you more than a regular USA Hilton. Parking is free and you can walk or drive over to Carrefour Laval for some mean shopping. The Metro station is about 3 kms away, so most likely need to drive, take a cab or a bus to get there. Parking at the metro station can be hard on weekdays. Overall a nice hotel. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the pastries were excellent.

I'm a diamond member of Hilton so I'm a frequent customer. I have also now stayed at 7 different hotels in laval and feel like I have a good assessment of the hotels in the area. There are 3 hotels in Laval that to me, are a step above the rest and these are full service hotels with indoor pools, hot tubs, workout facilities, meeting rooms and a full service restaurant. Of those in Laval, I believe Hilton is the best of them. There are nicer hotels in Montreal but for Laval, this is my favorite. The members club is great and the pricing to stay here is very competitive and in fact, on many stays it's competitive with hotels that don't have a restaurant or all the amenities. The staff here is wonderful and that includes the cleaning staff and room service which I have also communicated with on many occasions. I will be back in December and January as I have already booked my rooms. Enjoy!

The family and I stayed here for two nights of our Canadian vacation. Walking in, we were greeted by a lobby under construction. Being the first time here, I was a little leery of what the room was going to be. I was told the rooms have been renovated. When we got to our room, we were pleasantly surprised! A two room ground floor suite with its own private shaded patio! I'm usually not a big fan of ground floor rooms, but this one I will make an exception. Also, you know when you forget a toothbrush, razor etc? Well, that's all waiting on the bathroom counter; and not a skimpy sample size either! Also, the area of the hotel where we stayed you needed to swipe your key. Sliding glass doors whoosh open to get in there - Very VIP (or Star Trek) like. The hotel is just a few kilometers from the Montmorency train station to whisk you to downtown Montreal. You could drive and park at the station or request a cab from the front desk. Overall, a good experience here. I would definitely stay here again when in the area.

One front desk person was quite pleasant. Power was out multiple times. Room is decent size. Fairly clean but but old. Very standard hotel.

I stayed at quality suites in laval on my birthday earlier this week. I take a lot of trips to…read moreMontreal and have always noticed quality suites on my way to Carrefour laval. I finally decided I need a suite and we stayed there. Firstly, the location is great. It's about a 2 minute drive to the best mall I've ever been to, Carrefour laval. It's located around a bunch of grocery stores and even a Walmart. It's right off of the freeway so it's a plus to not have to drive around extra. Check in was pretty fast. They didn't have any luggage racks but the gentleman working there went and located one for us from another floor. I found it odd that he gave us breakfast tickets. I had never seen this at another hotel but later found out non-hotel guests were using their free breakfast. We were pleased that they have an elevator (most choice hotels we've stayed at in the Montreal area do not). We had gotten a double bed suite room. It was almost the same size as my apartment. They had a mini fridge, freezer, microwave and a table with four chairs. The air conditioning worked perfectly, even in the winter. The room did look at a little outdated but it didn't bother us. The only problem I came across was the smell of the sheets. They smelled like plastic. The highlight of my stay was the breakfast the following day. The hours were good- 6:30am-9:30am on a weekday and til 10am on weekends. It was one of the most well organized and delicious hotel breakfasts I have had. They had many vegetarian friendly items: make it yourself waffles in original and strawberry flavors, Kraft peanut butter, raspberry jam, caramel, large muffins, oatmeal, 4 types of cereals, English muffins, and breads. The lady who ran the breakfast room was very pleasant and didn't give us a hard time for eating past 9:30 like some hotels do. Most importantly, the breakfast room did not stink of meats or fried food. I would not hesitate to stay at quality suites again next time I visit Montreal. The rate was $105 Canadian including tax but converted into about $77 American dollars.

The staff was very helpful. The hotel is a little dated but the rooms are very clean and have…read moreupdated TV's. I would gladly stay again.

I'm not sure if it's a cultural thing but it was suddenly reminiscent of my unpleasant dealings with French customer service from my days living in Paris. When my family and I arrived, the 2 young ladies at the welcome desk saw us, then ignored us, and made sure to continue talking a private conservation for a good 3-4 minutes even while there was nobody else in line, and my group of 4 just stood there for them to finish their private talk to acknowledge our presence. I found their attitude offensive and it really stood out. Besides that, the employees, even the nice/ well meaning ones were extremely slow, stark difference to how business gets done in the US. I'm not sure if it was this hotel in particular of Laval, or French Canada region... It's too bad about the unprofessional and unwarranted attitude and slowness of the staff, because otherwise, the rooms are very good, nice, clean, and pleasant. The prices are reasonable too. The hotel is located in a convenient location next to the main highway of the city.

This motel is a great place to sleep for the night, as far as motels go this is the best I've stayed in. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and helpful. I highly recommend this motel if you are passing through on a road trip, or just staying for a weekend. They hold a fee, until they've confirmed you didn't smoke in the room, I can confirm this was dropped the same day,and parking is included. Not to mention an abundance of hot water. I will definitely be staying here in the future when I'm heading east.

So with that said, I have mixed reviews on different areas. The overall stays here are decent and I have been able to sleep without too much noise. The price is also good compared to many hotels so it has that going for it. For those I would give 4 stars for pricing and overall comfort. My particular room was a bit dated and didn't look like most of the Internet pictures and instead looked like a typical motel-6 or motel-8. The shower did have a disco affect which means it went hot and cold and hot and cold all on its own, cool! (Not) The service at the front desk was polite and very helpful and they also sell alcohol, snacks and there is a breakfast area too. The breakfast consists of cereals, bagels and breads and some juice or coffee. It's not a lot but it's free which is more than most motels ever offer. So, here is my rating. If I would have been offered a room like I saw online, 4 stars easy. However, since I feel a little like I was a bait and switch victim I am sticking with 3 stars. Enjoy!
