Fabulous place to stay if you are going to Boucherville. Hotel is been renovated (still some areas being worked on). Lots of money has been put into this hotel. I rather liked the near semi weirdness of this hotel. At least as far as the room was concerned. It felt more like a lounge. With the island running through middle of the front section of the room -- like a kitchen island with no kitchen; the fully glass shower near the room door, the Murphy bed, the lights that could change color from red to violet or blue all made for a modern but weird vibe. The coffee maker in the room was a winner, not being typical hotel room coffee but a pod version with at least 4 different brew flavors. On this visit, I had a corner room on an upper floor with windows on two side sides that looked out into the neighborhood. It was a really impressive and stunning view. The part I noticed right away was that the curtains actually made the room dark --- there wasn't that little gap that always lets that little sliver of light that comes through. The WiFi worked well. The bed and pillows were almost perfect. It was a quirky room in a hotel with out-of-the-ordinary service. I'd stay here again. read more

I've stayed here twice in the past 4 years and I really enjoyed both of my stays. The rooms aren't your typical "tan box" with the layout. Ample parking and a really nice restaurant on site. I don't see myself staying anywhere else on future visits. read more

Ok. This hotel recommended by my customer. The good: convenient to several restaurants, clean room, recharge stations in the parking lot. The bad: coffee is terrible. Breakfast served cold. And here is a recommendation to all hotels. If you replace bar soaps and shampoo bottles with the dispensers. PLEASE spend a little extra on color and scent options. Update: STAY AWAY. got a response from the owner and all he does is blame the customer. This is a garbage hotel. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A BUSINESS THAT DOESN'T RESPECT IS CUSTOMERS. I don't mean to be a jerk, but 4 stars is supposed to mean something-amenity wise.... This is NOT 4 stars This hotel is the equivalent of a house flip. You walk in, you see the cool hanging chairs no one sits in, you see the cool bookshelves and pool table and you're like "damn, this is NICE!" BUT just like a cheap flip, once you USE it, you're irritated. For example, the room has no premium channels.. no pay movies, no streaming option, no screen casting option. Not really a big deal but remember, this is supposed to be a 4 STAR HOTEL. The shower has no regulator.. meaning the temperature fluctuates between comfortable and scorching hot while you're in it. This is another example of them cheaping out. No robes, no face soap, and just a wall mounted shower gel/shampoo/ conditioner dispenser like im at some cheap gym. Ugh. 2 queen sized MURPHY beds in my room, only 3 towels. "Order more!" you say. I WOULD, but they don't even have enough staff to answer their restaurant phones. I called and called but no one answered. I had to go down and order and then go back to pick it up. WHAT 4 STAR HOTEL ONLY HAS MURPHY BEDS??? AKA one step up from a pullout. No room service AT ALL. I ordered a fortune and it was awful. They didn't give me plates and real cutlery... i got takeout complete with plastic wrapped plastic cutlery... and not the nice stuff either. It's the same cheapest-you-can-buy plastic crap you get at food trucks or beach stands. And they close at 10. 4 stars are open way later than that. Not a big deal for a 3 star hotel (though honestly, its disappointing even for a 3 star) but again I remind you they are boasting 4 star quality. This ain't that. No minibar and if you want a fridge or microwave, they charge you for it. Again, that's totally cool BUT NOT FOR A HOTEL THAT IS RATED 4 STARS!!!!!!!! No covid protocols. Rude owner. there's no room service and the food was terrible. I'm really sorry to say this because the menu is the bomb! We ordered $200 worth of food and it was all just meh or downright AWFUL. Again, all show, like a dude who stuffs his pantleg. You can't help but be disappointed when you experience it upclose. :P That being said, wifi is included. The room is big and its quiet. But this experience wasn't cheap...and one last thing.... the lighting person should be executed without trial. What kind of monster thought only spot lights were the way to go? Nothing says "I'm sexy!" like spotlight shadows all over your face and body all the time. And there's supposed to be 1 light per bed for 4 stars...not here! There should be an outlet next to the bed for your phone in a 4 star. Not here! Plug that stuff across the room, thank you! And what's up with only 1 trashcan?and it's only allowed in the bathroom... Another favorite of mine, the curtains....There are no opaque window curtains. Hope you like waking up at the butt crack of dawn because there are only sheers on the windows. Practicality is not in the designers vocabulary. In conclusion, this hotel is ok. This is a 2 star. But 4 star hotels are not "ok". Finally, have you read the other reviews? People are consistently saying these same issues over and over and the owner has the balls to publicly blame the customers. Example: "did you try asking WHY there was a shower temperature problem?" Or "did you bother asking for another room?" Does that sound like 4 star service to you? It's not the customers fault the hotel has an issue. There shouldn't BE issues. If there is an issue, especially one that MANY people have mentioned, the owner certainly shouldn't be pushing the responsibility off on the customer!!!! Sadly, this was a nice looking location that resulted in a terrible experience. O was in Montreal for the first time with my son to see the Canadian GP. Due to the popularity of the event, accommodations were far more expensive than usual and booked well in advance. I booked a 4 night stay at this hotel 3 months ahead of the event through Expedia. Despite it being 15 km out of the city and away from the venue. Due to flight delays, we didn't arrive until just after 3 am. That's when things started to go sideways with Hotel Mortagne. It started with them saying they had no record of our reservation. As I worked with the front desk staff, she mentioned they were having issues with their emails going to spam, so it was possible the reservation notification was there. Whatever the case, I wasn't going to go looking for a different option at 3 am with my 14 y/o. We took the room they had available, but the staffer did not mention to me it would be a different price. Every day during our 4-day stay, I would call Expedia and go through the motions of trying to get this sorted out. Each time, they were not able to get through to the hotel staff (Understandable, as I would walk by the front desk and see the phone ringing and no one taking notice). Finally, the day we had to check out and catch our flight, the front desk staff informed me of the cost they wanted to charge me--more than twice what I had paid through Expedia. I told them I was unhappy with this, but since I had to catch a plane, I paid it and collected all the contact details for the hotel manager. Long story, I know. But 2 months later, they still haven't granted my request to honor the original charge. Expedia was great--they fully refunded my charge and are easy to get a hold of. But the staff at Hotel Mortagne? Not so much. It took many emails/voicemails to be able to talk to the right person--most often my messages did not get a response. And despite finally talking to two levels of management, they put all the blame on me or Expedia. ================================== You've made it this far--well done! How was the hotel itself? It's slightly above average. The rooms are nice if you like a modern aesthetic, if with some odd choices. Our room combined the sink and mirror with the only desk in the room (I could follow up on some work emails while my son brushed his teeth). The shower featured clear glass walls on two sides, so anyone in the room will see your naked rear end--and since the shower was beside the room door, anyone in the hallway would get a nice view as well if someone left the room while you're in the shower. But odd design choices aside, it was nice to look at and clean. Unfortunately, they seem to have blown the budget on the design and many of the basic services you expect are lacking. There are no fridges in the rooms. If you need to keep some food/drinks cool, you're out of luck. Even the ice machines are broken--I had to search 3 floors to find one that works. The restaurant in the hotel is nice enough, but the food is average at far above average prices. There is no room service. The hotel is located far outside the city. ================================== Montreal was a lovely city and we enjoyed our trip (and our first F1 race). The only thing marring the memory was the experience at Hotel Mortagne. I recommend you try other options. read more

It seems that this hotel hasn't been reviewed in a while, and it's time for an update. My family and I visited here last month, July 2017, and was bitterly disappointed to see major renovations occurring when we arrived at the hotel. This fact wasn't mentioned when we made our reservation. Otherwise, we would have stayed elsewhere. The place definitely needed updating: the halls are dark, the rooms are dark earth tones, the smoke alarm outside our room was hanging down rather than flush with the ceiling, the beds are not at all comfortable (no box springs) and are too low to the floor. There are substantial wrinkles in the carpeting in the hotel's hallways. And, did I mention it was dark? The staff is friendly, but their friendliness did not make up for men in hard hats everywhere, noise, and unsightly areas around the building. The breakfast buffet was OK, but it didn't seem well maintained. We stayed one night and left the next day with sore necks and backs. Perhaps this hotel will be "gorgeous" again once the renovations are completed; right now, though, it's a dump. read more

While the hotel is gorgeous, centrally located and boasts beautiful rooms, the consistency in service is lacking. I stayed for 3 nights, Friday through Monday. I was impressed by the luxurious room right away. Instead of a standard coffee pot, there was a Keurig with a variety of K cups on the Bureau. I opened the drawer to see if there were more k cups and find 2 empty (thankfully) boxes of embarrassing items. I closed the drawer and figured housekeeping would get those items layer they failed to throw away yon turning the room. Next I searched for ice. The ice machine on my floor was broken the entire time with no posted signage. In search of ice, the next door down had their amenities room locked for 2 nights. Finally found working ice machine on the next for I tried. I used half the ice and the rest melted in the ice bucket overnight. While I enjoyed having a King size bed with clean sheets, the 4 pillows were very thin and each morning I woke with a very sore neck and back. I have had more comfortable beds at a Comfort Suites. I ate breakfast Saturday morning at the lobby restaurant. The food was decent, though overpriced add usual at hotels. I was disappointed no continental breakfast was served. Furthermore, the service was terrible! Through no fault of his own, the waiter worked very fast and hard, but there was only 1 person to serve as waiter, host and busser for the entire hour I was there. Returning to my room that evening, housekeeping had been by. The bed was made, the trash taken out and the room orderly-at first glance. However, the questionable boxes remained in the drawer. So I finally threw them in the trash not wanting the next person to deal with it. The towels from my shower were replaced, which was frustrating because I followed the posted instructions to hang up towels so they didn't get laundered thus helping the hotel to be "green." And my ice bucket was moved back to its place with fresh glasses. I picked it up to get more ice and it was still half full of the melted water from the night before. On Sunday, upon return to my room after housekeeping' s visit, I discovered only some of the bathroom amenities were replaced. Namely, I was missing the makeup removers I had used the previous days which were not replenished this time. And frustratingly enough, I now had the option of sea salt scrub for my shower which was bit present upon check in our the previous housekeeping visit. The inconsistency in cleaning and service really bothered me. When I'm paying these prices, I expect more than a pretty place. I expect superb amenities and service and found those sorely lacking. read more
