The location is close to shopping and there are plenty of restaurant choices within walking distance. The hotel staff is super friendly and very helpful. As do all Hampton Inn hotels. This one has green breakfast and a nice open feeling breakfast area. They have a pool and a gym which are on par with other locations too. The rooms are clean and the only exception I saw to everything not being updated was my tub. It looked a bit aged but heck, it's a tub. It wasn't moldy but show chips and repair work from the years of age. Other than that, the pricing here is always competitive, beds are comfy and rooms are quiet. Enjoy!

Instead of the courtesy of a phone call to give us options to keep the room, Hilton decided to cancel the reservations for anyone who used Honors points to partially cover the cost of the room. So basically we were punished for our brand loyalty. We were forced to book another hotel with fewer amenities that is no longer in walking distance from the reason we are traveling, all for almost $400 more plus now including parking costs. 1000 honors points will not nearly cover those costs. Hilton, do better if you expect me to ever want to stay in your hotels again. There is no "Honor" in the way you treat your Honors members.

I'm not sure if it's a cultural thing but it was suddenly reminiscent of my unpleasant dealings with French customer service from my days living in Paris. When my family and I arrived, the 2 young ladies at the welcome desk saw us, then ignored us, and made sure to continue talking a private conservation for a good 3-4 minutes even while there was nobody else in line, and my group of 4 just stood there for them to finish their private talk to acknowledge our presence. I found their attitude offensive and it really stood out. Besides that, the employees, even the nice/ well meaning ones were extremely slow, stark difference to how business gets done in the US. I'm not sure if it was this hotel in particular of Laval, or French Canada region... It's too bad about the unprofessional and unwarranted attitude and slowness of the staff, because otherwise, the rooms are very good, nice, clean, and pleasant. The prices are reasonable too. The hotel is located in a convenient location next to the main highway of the city.

This motel is a great place to sleep for the night, as far as motels go this is the best I've stayed in. The front desk staff were incredibly nice and helpful. The shower did have a disco affect which means it went hot and cold and hot and cold all on its own, cool! (Not) The service at the front desk was polite and very helpful and they also sell alcohol, snacks and there is a breakfast area too. The breakfast consists of cereals, bagels and breads and some juice or coffee. It's not a lot but it's free which is more than most motels ever offer. So, here is my rating.
