Bethel Ranch - the beautiful new chapel!!

Bethel Ranch

So IMPRESSED by this NATURALLY STUNNING Location! This is a hidden gem that once folks know about…read moreit.. they will beat a path to the door! My daughter only had 6 months to plan a wedding so venue choices were very difficult! We stummbled into this gorgeous place and I had to pinch myself..DONE and DONE! Booked it as soon as I saw it.. Amazing things about this place 1. Daughter wanted all the wedding party to stay on site and basically have a love and Party fest.. Many many bedrooms accomodated EVERYONE and we had a lot in the wedding party! 2. The man cave/ BUNK HOUSE - pool ping pong and bunk beds.. we had several guests that were just a tad to party happy, so we escorted them to the bunkhouse.. The groomsmen played card games and had a wonderful time there.. Its a bunkhous that is just a few yards away from the mail house.. 3. The main house.. DROP dead gorgeous and we had 50 people for the rehersal dinner! Big cozy fireplace and an intimate gathering made everyone toast and tell wonderful stories about the bride and groom.. 4.OMG they have beautiful working hunting doggies! I am not a hunter, but they included a hunt for the groomsmen and their man friends..I enjoyed watching the dogs work..What a beautiful afternoon..and the hunters came home with a LOT of QUAIL! 5. NEW wedding Chapel was just completed and is just so so beautiful.. We had 130 guest and it was plenty of room for dancing and all the tables food and buffet set up! 6. The staff... although I was dubious at first as I only saw one sweetheart of a lady.. She was amazing and was so very accommodating! I just loved her..She was very special and so caring..She is truly a treasure! 7. The nature- not much decor needed here.. this place is on a lot of acreage and the chapel faces sunset.. so the natural beauty is peaceful and just lovely.. All I can say is this place is wonderful and offers so much for the dollar.. Our older guests were comfy sitting by the fire in the main house and drinking wine ,while the young kept the party going on late into the night. My daughter described it as a dream wedding! I NEVER WRITE REVIEWS! This shouild tell you how wonderfull this place is!!

After a long search for the perfect wedding venue, we truly could not have chosen a better place…read more The venue was absolutely breathtaking, with the most beautiful views and an atmosphere that made our wedding weekend feel so special. The house on the property was also wonderful and made having our wedding party together for the weekend so convenient. The entire team was incredible, but I especially want to recognize Pete for all of the hard work he put into making our weekend absolutely perfect! He worked tirelessly on the grounds and behind the scenes and helped make the weekend absolutely perfect. We cannot recommend this venue and their team enough! You will not regret the amazing backdrop for ALL of your photos.

I'm writing this review from the perspective of a wedding guest at River Road Venue. I attended a…read morewedding here in early November and it was wonderful. The location in Anna, TX is remote enough to make it feel secluded. Set off a country road, there is plenty of open field parking. From what I could see, there was the main reception building and the outdoor wedding space was across the creek. Upon arrival to the reception area, very nice, top of the line golf carts were waiting to chauffeur guests to the outdoor ceremony area. The ceremony took place outdoors past a small creek where there was a quaint bridge. The seating was set up in neat rows where the centerpiece had a lovely antique chandelier. There was also a mic set up and outdoor speakers so the vows could be easily heard as well as music to bookend the ceremony. Our friends who got married are huge Anglophiles and they chose "London Calling" by The Clash to take their first walk down the aisle as man and wife. Great touch! For the reception, the building has lots of long tables and some round ones. There was also a dance floor space. The only thing I would say here, is I wish there were some noise abatement measures. While there were speakers to amplify the toasts and speeches, the large space was too boomy to hear with clarity. Other than that, the space was very nice. There are also rooms to the sides of the main room for the bridesmaids and groomsmen to get ready. The restrooms were also very clean and well maintained. Overall, I thought River Road Venue was a lovely place to attend a wedding and had beautiful grounds. I would definitely love to attend another wedding here again sometime.

So we walked over to The Country Abbey on a Sunday afternoon. The door was unlocked and we walked in and met Naomi. We talked to her for a moment and immediately booked the venue for the following Friday. This was our first funeral but not our first event to plan, and I have to say Naomi was quite possibly the most accommodating vendor with which I have had the pleasure to work. As an Interior Designer, I asked to rearrange some furniture and she made it happen. We asked for extension cords, items to help with the AV equipment, late meetings at the Abbey the night before to drop off cases of beverages and additional items we needed for the funeral service, and Naomi could not have been nicer. She never said "no". Who meets you at 10 p.m. to unlock the doors so your event the next morning will go smoothly? Naomi! Regarding the space, the "chapel" is just the right size - not too small and not so cavernous that it would look empty if the head-count was low. The backdrop is clean and uncluttered with no religious imagery or symbolism. The reception space was completely set up with the items we requested when we arrived 2 hours early for our event. Everything was clean and we lacked for nothing. Saying goodbye to our father was hard enough and we didn't need any more stress preparing for his funeral. There are dozens of things that have to be done that you might not think of, and Naomi made it virtually stress-free. Any time I need a venue in Justin, it will be The Country Abbey because it was such a positive experience.

I can not say enough good things about Sarah and Naomi at the Country Abbey. Our original wedding…read moredate was supposed to be 05/01/20 but due to Covid we had to change our plans quickly. Sarah (the coordinator) contacted me and worked with me to reschedule our wedding date for Oct/2020. It was such a stressful time for me but Sarah made it so much easier. Any time I had a question, concern or anxiety, I could always email, call or pop in for a visit to the Abbey and she always eased my fears. She offered so many ideas when I was unsure of how to do things and she and her team decorated the Abbey so beautifully for our wedding. I wanted a simple, clean and rustic look and she put it together perfectly! Our ceremony went off without a hitch because Sarah made sure everyone knew what they were supposed to do and say. I couldn't have pulled off this wedding without Sarah and her amazing abilities. She treated me like I was her only client even during the pandemic and when there were many other brides dealing with the same thing I was. Also the price for the venue was extremely reasonable and the cheapest I found anywhere! I highly recommend the country Abbey for your wedding, it was everything I had hoped for and more! Thank you Sarah!!!

She really made this a lot more stress free for me! All the guests kept telling us the venue was gorgeous, and even better the pricing was in our range. It includes the centerpieces (if wanted) table cloths, the groom and bridal cabin, cake cart, inside restrooms, bar, everything! Thank you Harlie and Mel, thank you Bear creek! I highly recommend this beautiful place and also the DJ Jerry Garcia! He has done many events there and went beyond expectations! I think the population is around 10 people or so. For those booking a hotel for an event here the closest locations are likely around Wylie. Best wishes to you. The venue is pretty and there's a water view as well. Parking is plentiful, some paved, some gravel, some covered and some not. It's a really pretty country setting out there. And the venue is spacious. One slightly unusual set up is that the women's restroom is located right at the entryway, like the second you step inside. It's definitely a gorgeous venue for a wedding.

Day-of Coordinators and Staff: Thank you so much for Raven and Carlena for making my day as special…read moreand wonderful as possible. We got married on May 26, 2024. Raven made sure that my husband and I were taken care of and felt cared for the entire day. Raven also made sure that all the small things got taken care of! She cut up strawberries, and she even made a small little sign for my Cereal Bar. I absolutely was blown away with her professionalism and knowledge of wedding planning. Food: my guests loved the catered BBQ meal and all of the sides! I did not get to try much of it since I was running on adrenaline, but I heard rave reviews. Venue: Absolutely perfect for our needs. Just be aware that the only two bathrooms are right by the bridal suite. It might be wise to tell folks traveling in to stop and use the restroom before they get there right before the ceremony. I was a little nervous about the music because we are Hispanic but she did great! They let me add an hour of party and were very accommodating with us. I would get married here again if I could!

We booked because this was an all inclusive service venue for less stress. Bit the lack of communication is the complete opposite. The venue itself is run down, look at the pictures. We've asked a handful of times when the building would get a power wash and it's been almost a year since we first viewed the venue and it's even worst looking. We watch other people's wedding videos at this venue and you can see it and in the photos. The bathrooms are outdated and all of the chairs have red marks on white cushions which looks horrible.
